Wondering, how do I repair the Castle walls? Fix the Castle walls in no time. Just follow this simple guide to a beautiful rebuilt castle with walls ready to repel any attack. The Minutemen fortress is back!
That would be great. The quest could involve gathering enough settlers in the castle, and they ‘shovel” at the debris piles. After several in game days the piles will be flattened. Then you are sent to one of the quarries in the Commonwealth , clear out raiders, and turn it into a settlement. Then gather quest specific settlers across the commonwealth to agree to ‘work the quarry” to gather stone and cement. After that the walls can be rebuilt. Oh but to dream…
He likely has no idea and I've been wanting to rebuild the walls for awhile just couldn't figure out how or where to look for the foundation. Now I find this guy and he's helped in more ways than one
Vault-Tec DLC just dropped and I got back into playing the game. Funny enough this is my first time taking Castle and I needed a step by step guide on how to fix the walls and yours was the easiest (and shortest) to follow, thanks man!
I'm glad that I'm not the only OCD'd player that spent A LOT of time tediously rebuilding the Castle's wall. Awesome vid. I can appreciate another OCD builder's work. That was pretty much exactly what I figured out after a long night or two of trying to fortify my favorite settlement
Outta the 2 hours of watching settlement buildings on the castle I found yours the simplest, yet the coolest. Thank you for the tips and tutorial sir, you just got yourself another subscriber for all the good content on the games I play!
Thanks for the video, very clear and easy to understand. Glad I looked this up before even trying. Pretty sure I saved myself hours of frustration. Took me 5 minutes to finish all the walls and it looks great. The workshop mode really takes some getting used to in this game lol
I've probably made this same comment on your DA Inquisition videos, but I must say it again: I love your videos and they're really helpful, especially for my OCD about completion. Thanks.
Definitely a huge help, I feel like an idiot now lol, such a simple fix. Getting ready to murder the institute and prepare for the attack, tried this before I fixed up the castle and died by my fusion core ejecting on me mid fight😅, so I was like, yeah... better fix up the castle first and try this again😅
+FrogRaider1 You bet Frog, thanks for sticking with me during the change over. I know I was spamming all of the subscribers with a shit ton of new FO4 videos there for a while so I appreciate you staying with me. I wound up losing about 300 subscribers while I was posting new FO4 vids, which really sucked. Thanks for watching!
Can't get the first shack floor to line up like yours at all! Can tell already im in for the long haul with this build! Haha. Appreciate the video! I fully expect lots of new viewers in the coming days! 😊
Found you Quite recently after searching for Gwent Guides, saw the rest of your videos and there wasnt a reason i couldnt subscribe. Content is Great, keep it up man
Started my Fallout 4 playthrough around 5 months ago, I have like 3 days in game time but I've gotten to the castle, opening up the castle armory, and now I'm trying to manage all my settlements making sure they're protected but also able to survive by themselves. But the Castle and Starlight drive-in have always given me trouble. Nice to see this video on fixing the castle wall, and I also tried to fix the castle's metal bridge going around the left side, I did it with wood platforms but I may just go and try metal floors with scaffolding and try this while I'm at it. But I'm wondering if it's possible to make the shack foundation wall 2 wide, filling in the castle wall almost completely
Thank you so much this helped me alot and caused me less anxiety I had to change up the first wall a little cuz there were some gaps I saw under the founders the ground
+likesc Excellent. That's great to hear. I hope it all lines up for ya. Also, in case you haven't played around with it much, something I didn't mention in the video, if you hold down your interact key/confirm key, on the PC it is E, and point at a group of things you can move them all together. So if you get a wall build that isn't quite straight you can straighten the whole thing out as one object with that. Thanks for watching!
+MrCodeslinger I wish I had known you could move multiple things like that earlier, but better late than never. Thanks for all your videos, they're all super useful and straight to the point.
MrCodeslinger. your calm and clear description was a treat to behold and you weren't the slightest bit annoying with any part of your expert presentation. This coming from a guy who bitches at all and every clown who slathers RU-vid with "Gimme likes and subscribe" while posing as Academy Award winning Movie Stars in their own little Universe while being unintelligible incoherent and unclear. Hats off to you, I am subbing.
@@MrCodeslinger No REALLY! I'm 72 and getting shorter on patience with so much vanity, selfies and self inflation. I have also searched for info on RU-vid for many games and you Sir, have really impressed me. Bloody good job!
I followed this to a tee and it looks great just a follow up question I have, on that corner where you repair the 2 walls that are close together what’s the best way to make those 2 walls kinda connect on top without a weird gap?
FKING hell I've been trying to "repair" those walls x10000 times with the "pillar glitch" and what else I could think of. And it just hit me, google that s***t and acutally find something that simply works. Thanks a bunch!!!
LOL, yeah that definitely took some time to sort out and then sort out again how to "try" to explain it to everyone in a video. :) Glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching!
Bro thank you so much I just hoped on and I wanted to know how to fix the walls because I know there was not a mission to do it because I beat ever mission in the game so yeah vid came in clush thank you 🙏🏻
If you're wondering why you can't fix the fort normally, it's because the rubble is connected to a precombine. Removing it or tampering with it causes countless things to rendee as individual objects instead of one big one globally, meaning even as far as downdown boston by greentech genetics you're going to be getting like 10fps
There is a really great mod that repairs the Castle, it's called something like that "Castle Rapaired" I think. It fixes the walls and takes away that massive heap of ruble. It Also opens up one new room by the kitchen and like 5 more rooms by the armory. There should have been a Minute Man mission where we could have restored it to that state.
One thing that keeps getting at me is the walls just above the vault thing in the corner. If u clip a shack foundation flooring, it shows through the ceiling. But if u use a normal shack floor it shines the indoor light of it like a beacon. How do you fill that gap
