Fallout 4 - Sanctuary Marketplace Build
Here is the first part of my Sanctuary build series where I build a market around the tree in Sanctuary. This is just the building of some of the main structures. I will have a few videos on this build, saving the decorations for last.

I’m rather late to your channel but I must say YOU are an AMAZING BUILDER! Fallout 4 is new to me as a player and trying to build my settlement has been soooo lacking. I have the add ons now and am so inspired by your builds! Thank you!

Awesome! The Thematic and Practical mod is really great for building a market, I wish I'd had that mod when I built my little Sanctuary market, I'm gonna check it out for my current playthrough :)

The best part to me is how it adds plywood, wish we could use 360 degree rotations to use them everywhere, but still great.

Try using Place Anywhere with it, I'm sure it lets you rotate the pieces but I think it lets you do it in stages rather than freely, I haven't tried it yet but I've seen a console build where the guy has used flat floor pieces rotated 90 degrees and placed on walls.

Amazing build. I would love to have all the different store signs for ps4. Now I just have to use the few that come with the game and neon letters. But these make much more sense.

This was my idea to have a market place around the big tree in sanctuary hills. Although i did this on the ps4 so.... it was hard even with mods because of the restrictions. Even with the highest quality mods in ps4. This was a great job and I love the kinda like break lounge area at the back.

You could build booths out of what the vanilla game offers. It wouldn't be as cool, tho. Here's a basic build for one of the booths. Step 1: Place 4 concrete foundations in a square. Step 2: Place shack walls around the outer edges of your platform and put roofing on top. Leave the side facing the street open. Step 3: Place in whatever trading stand you want on the side you left open. If you have the DLC that gives you Vault 88, use those shops. Step 4: You can double each shop as a settler home by placing a bed inside the shop. And there ya go! You have a little stall for your settlements!

I recently (finally) got WiFi and was amazed what was available to load. It took day to fashion a diner bc the pieces didn’t snap together on the home’s foundation. No one can get in bc they all gather at a window area. After seeing your video I wonder if the floor should be cement

If you have scrap fallout mod on and you go to where the NPC do the hammering/sitting down/lying down for dogmeat, you should be able to find an invisible mat in the general area they stand and scrap it for a bottlecap. What you were talking about around 2:00

I can spend hours at a time building my settlement and im never satisfied with it,so i start over. I want it to look like its already part of the game, so it flows nicely and has practical use for the residents...i wish we had floor hatch's when opened its a bunker to build beds and storage..

I tried assigning settlers to different trade post in a prefab house. But they wont go inside. They actually seem to bug out even on the outside. After i assigned a settler to a trade post and he was walking towards the house he moved with tiny tiny steps. Like one step in 2 minutes. Is it really not possible to have trade posts inside a prefab house. Id rather not have to build a house from scratch since fallout 4:s settlement building is bugged out and annoying.

Love the build around the tree. I'm might do something like that myself! When I do small outdoor shops like that I normally put a doityourshelf shelf behind the vendor and use the matching pieces for some wares.
