I find the thirst zapper with the base water one is perfect for the nuka cade game where you have to shoot the ducks and stuff since you can fire as fast as you pull the trigger and it has a slight splash and free ammo.

If you have the legendary mod for all weapons and make the thirst zapper 'explosive' it makes it work just as well. I ended up giving my companion npc the weapon and got a second one for myself.

I think you may not need to finish the DLC to find the Project Cobalt-notes because there is a tunnel connecting the room where you can spy on Oswald talking to his ghoul friend in Kiddie Kingdom to the backside of the reactor in the World of Refreshments which requires you to walk through a pretty long stretch of radioactive goo. I'm just not sure it's open when the power's out.

I used a mod that let me switch out legendary effects. Put wounding on the squirt gun version for much hilarity. Freezing is pretty effective too. But explosive is the best. The projectile becomes a bullet, and it's increased by the explosive perks.

You actually don't need it to kill Colter, it just takes awhile without it. I used Atom's Judgement and a robot duelwielding shishkebabs to tether him between us. It took like 10 minutes on very hard.

I set one up and absolutely hated how inefficient of a weapon this actually is. One-shot magazine and low DPS compared to basically any gun easily available through Bethnet mods, which could be forgivable if each round didn't take so many resources to make. I'd rather save my Quantum bottles to make ammo for my NCQ-modified Alien Assault Rifle from its titular mod. Looks cooler, more fun to use, and far more efficient in every way, especially considering the weaponized NCQ ammo for that rifle requires nothing but Quantum to make. You can't paint the damn thing in Quantum colors, or even put sights on it. I wouldn't be so salty about all this if there wasn't a whole ass facility dedicated to developing Project Cobalt beneath Nuka World. A single 5.56x45mm round from the Frontliner (from the popular AK74M mod) does comparable damage to the very costly blasts from the NQC Thirst Zapper. Good video though.

It is posssible. Just go to kiddie kingdom in the employee tunnels. The first or 2nd tunnel in the irradiated body of water is tunnel that comes out to the beverageer's lab. You'll need to do the glitch to pass through walls using power armor to get though the tunnel.

I’ve always been bothered by the existence of that weak acid gun. I feel like an acid mod for the zapper would’ve been a good intermediate between the complete uselessness of a squirt gun and the work it takes to get project cobalt, but instead that’s an entirely different gun.

Hey Camel,I loved your Deep ANALysis of this weapon. I think this is the best DLC to CUM to consoles. I think this makes the SQUIRT gun become the CLIMAX of the DLC. But,I think the problem is the RELEASE time.
