I'm obsessed with the building in fallout 4. That my man gets jealous asf but with your videos. Now I can build so much more! Thank you! Your tips and advice is super helpful. Ps. My man demand I build him the treehouse and its absolutely awesome lmao xD
You seriously have the best ideas. Your videos have been instrumental in making my anxiety over my settler's comfort disappear. (I'm being totally serious. It really used to bother me about the roof thing in Sanctuary, and then I watched your video about roofing...and no more anxiety!). This video was an excellent addition! Thank you!
I love it. It's like a wizards' study in the wastelands. Can't wait for the first rainy evening I'm gonna spend in this treehouse brewing "health potions" at the laboratory station as soon as I'm done building it 😄
The window thing is awesome. I just tried it on a shack wall along with framing it to make it sturdy. By the time I was done it looked prefab lol. Way cool trick
Just spotted the Bed count in your settlement. Do you just have some warehouse stacked with sleeping bags or something? o.o Great video. The settlement building is my favourite part of Fallout 4, so I look forward to learning more tricks I can use.
+MrYyelo Ha! I'd forgotten all about that! I had needed to level up quickly so I could get a perk I needed for a video I was making, and pre-war money was the crafting material I had the most of, so I just made a load of sleeping bags, and then I guess I forgot to pick them all up afterwards.
+Wasteland Dovahkiin Prewar money is also good for bottle caps. They come with 8 a piece but they spawn in bunches so sometimes it's like 8 x 40 = 320 bottle caps. There also weightless.
Yes I know. This particular character of mine is already super rich though, so I didn't care. There aren't enough merchants in the game to buy all the prewar money, ammo and guns I've saved up in my first play through. Even though I sell it constantly (which is why I'm rich) I can't get rid of it fast enough, and it just keeps piling up.
This is awesome. You're just so casually about your commentary and I love that! lol xD Thanks for this. I wonder if I could use Concrete Pillars now with the DLC instead of a concrete floor. I wish Sony would allow mods but they're butts, because I'd work on a ladder. Maybe put the stairs under the floor? IDK. Guess yours is small but yes! I'm rambling. thanks! liked.
You can use the spiked poles using the rug glitch to make it look supported on PS4. I have used them at Startlight Drive In for extending buildings out past the two roof areas. Looks pretty good.
I've used spiked poles before for other things. I just didn't want to use them for the treehouse, because then it wouldn't feel as much like a treehouse anymore. I am thinking up an idea though, I just have to experiment with it first. If it works, I'll make a video of it.
Alas, it doesn't seem to have recovered. Oddly enough, as I slide my mouse over the time-counter bar at the bottom of the video, I can see the still image from that moment in the little preview that appears, but if I try to go to that time marker the video still sits there trying (and failing) to load.
Wasteland workshop DLC. It allows you to have mole rats, mutant hounds, mirelurks, radscorpions, yao guai, deathclaws etc.. guard your settlements. You build a cage to catch a certain critter and a beta-wave transmitter to make them not hostile. It’s actually pretty useful!
