The white death variant of T-49 is a nod for Finnish snipper in Winter war. Simo Häyhä had 500+ confirmed kills with additional 200 arguable kills by other weapons.
Midwestern and T65 are amazing. I’m thinking I’ll give Danse one of those suits, probably T65 so he looks unique. Though I could give him Midwestern after his exile so he can really stand out. The whole design is unique obviously, but also rugged and well worn. With the hood and cape he’ll seem like a lone wanderer. Newermind is also working on the Hellcat armour too, so I could use that when it comes out for his Pre-Exile tenure.
Once you download this one, the Brotherhood at the Prydwyn hjave a mix of T-60 and Midwestern. That was a little shocking to me...but there's a mod that puts it back to T-60's.
Hello. Great job on the armor review! As far as additions go, I think the original "Enclave X-02 Power Armor", released in 2016 by unoctium deserves honorable mention. Granted its original stats are not that great, but add-on mods such as "Better Enclave Armor" by Nathan10139 or "Enclave X-02 Power Armor Patch" by DigitalRenegadeMods fix that. Not to mention it has several other add-ons and paint jobs. Additionally for honorable mention, the FALLOUT Brotherhood - A Storyteller Quest Mod, also by unoctium, gives you the opportunity to get a unique set of T-49. Be advised, there is an issue with the Submersible Power Armors mod, Specifically, in the spawning of the “Bouncer” power armor set. The body you have to loot is bugged. Apparently, it only spawns once you enter the Kingsport light house area. If you leave the area without getting it, it will despawn. You can tell the body is bugged too as you can't properly open the inventory with "R"... but you can hover over it and take the armor with "E". Thanks again and take care!
True its a good mod as well. Decided not to include it because its a lil redundant to have two of the same sets, but i see what you mean. And thanks for the quest mod recommendation, ima try it out
The common misconception that most people have is that the X-01 and the classic Advanced Power Armor are the same armor. The truth is that the X-series of power armor were a radical new prototype series of pre-war power armor and were primarily used by the presidential secret service before the Great War. When the Great War occurred, the President and the Presidential secret service made their way to Control Station Enclave where the suit was the primary power armor of the Enclave until the first suit of Advanced Power Armor was produced in 2241.
@@jh047o Given the fact that the concept of X-01 wasn't introduced until Fallout 4, I'd consider this to be a retcon by Bethesda for Fallout 2 where they'd have been wearing X-01 until 2241 which is when the first full fledged suit of Advanced Power Armor was produced. However if you wanted you could also argue that the suits seen at Mariposa and during the mine collapse were experimental prototypes for the Advanced Power Armor deployed for field testing.
@@jh047o He's saying the X-01 we see in Fallout 4 is basically a prototype for the Advanced Power Armour we see in Fallout 2 and New Vegas. The X-01 is inferior, technically. Though if we're talking about sheer stats and protection, according to the lore, the most advanced and best power armour ever made was the Hellfire we saw in Fallout 3. Brand-new Enclave stuff made with the latest and greatest tech the wasteland has to offer.
Personally, I prefer the X02 made by unoctium compared to the made by cipher. Unoctium’s looks way more realistic and even though it is weak, you can install a patch to make it better. There is also an addon that adds more paint schemes
I was hoping for Relic Space Marine or The Space Marine to appear. These two are probably my go to power armor every time I play Fallout because I'm a huge Warhammer fan
@thewiseguybra3274 tactics had a good story, and lots of depth just had a lot of lore breaking things that could be fixed in a new story with multiple options for the player to choose the ending.
@thewiseguybra3274 yes it was then the mid-west was referenced in several games since then so what happened in that game is not cannon but the mid-west is cannon and has stuff going on and they have been referenced in cannon fallout. So I am hoping we see a good game like fallout newvegas story quality with the modern graphics and gameplay.
I won't be able to appear in streams anymore because my phone is broken and this is probably my last use out of it so I'm using it to tell everyone that I hope you have a great day!
My only problem with the Midwest armor is that any time I've installed it, there has been this weird black spot around the "mouth" area on the helmet. I've seen screenshots of other people's installs with the same thing happening. Not sure what the deal is, it's otherwise a really high quality mod. I still use it, it's not like I'm staring at the front of my power armor helmet that often, but it's still a bit annoying when I do see it.
Sorry to comment on a 2 year old comment but I can't find any info on if the Midwest PA mod breaks the game after the new update cause I'm thinking about getting it
Sad to see no mentioning of Tumbajumba's power armor. It is my must power armor mod, and it has really cool customizations and appeal of heavy combat armor.
I'm a little sad the NAVI Power Armor mod wasn't introduced, it's not at all lore-friendly and a bit more cartoonic(and the chest thing), but I still think it's a pretty unique mod. That mod's jetpack is cool, that's for sure.
Skyrim in Fallout 4, is it a Death Claw or an Argonian on steroids? In defense of Bethesda, they have to go for a "good enough" mindset, as every single power armor is just a tiny piece of a larger game they are creating. Meanwhile the modder only has to worry about creating the one armor and cen play much more and longer with details, fiddle with files, add paint jobs ect.
Reminder: X0-1 and Advanced Power Armor are not the same thing. X0-1 is a pre-war prototype. APA is the post-war suit created by the Enclave - a direct upgrade to X0-1. So the APA mod isn't really "beating Bethesda at their own game." It's just putting the X0-1's successor in the game.
Also, X-02 Power Armor is not a thing. What fans call "X-02" is actually APA Mk. 2. The only time it was called X-02 was a creation club mod which isn't even canon.
@@AsymmetricalCrimes Whoever named the X0-2 in CC needs to brush up on their lore, evidently. I'm kinda surprised they didn't call Hellfire "X0-3" in the CC.
Does anyone else like the fact that the power armor made by vault-tec, the corporation that had never heard of human rights and played with people like a kid with an anthill and a science kit, looks like a suit of armor belonging to a historical faction that was very well known for those two things, among other horrid crimes? And they wanted to seem friendly. Really makes you wonder how far they would have gone if the world hadn't ended
@nexus_stuff137 Friendly paint job, absolutely menacing construction. Really gives off a "We're the good guys, we swear!" Vibe. Which usually means that they're not the good guys
Kinda funny how just a day after this video released there was a new Godlike power armor mod inform of the Hellcat power armor from Fallout 76 which someone modded into Fallout 4
Personally I like the X-02 black devil power armor mod It looks unique but doesn't feel out of place. Plus the enclave is my favorite faction so I like roleplaying as an ex enclave soldier while flaunting the X-02 armor.
Tumbajamba's Combat Power Armor. Looks badass comes with its own workbench and has pretty great stats love that it comes with 2 helms as well definitely a mainstay for my playthroughs.
Just found your channel. Loving the fact that you cover Fallout and it's mods so extensively. Just wanted to voice my support to you, you're doing great!
My two favorite power armor mods. Are the Terran Marine and Space Marine ones. I love Warhammer and StarCraft, nothing like introducing the Wasteland to Raynor and the Raiders (if you have a party with). Or purging Heresy as a Space Marine. Blood Ravens best chapter *coughs*
I really hope someone makes the hellcat power armor from fallout 76 it's my favorite armor in the series now it's just absolutely badass looking in my opinion.
Ngl, in this 1 case I'd say the CC has 1 thing on mods in regards to the X02. The quest to get it is mildly interesting (and the models are actually not TOO bad either). Unoctium is probably the best one with a buttload of options and the newer one is good simple and strong. But all 3 options are a little different and in ways better than one another. But I still wouldn't pay 10 bucks for a better method of acquisition.
Heads up, the X-01 in Fallout 4 and the Advanced Power Armor suits (Aka the Mark 1 from Fallout 2, the MK 2 seen on most enclave in FO3, and the Hellfire aka Advanced Power armor Mk 3) are NOT X-01, X-02 or X-03 actually. X-01 is the experimental armor from pre-war, then it was finished and became the Advanced Power Armor MK1
My favorites ones are the Classic Advanced PA, the Black Devil one and the Midwestern, though most of the armors shown here are very cool. Also, Fallout Tactics is a very underrated game, is by far not as bad as people often say and I consider it a shame that almost all of it is by Bethesda considered non-canon. It may be true that the Brotherhood allowing Ghouls, Super Mutants and even freaking Deathclaws into their ranks is just absurd, but I could see a Fallout entry where the main plot is about the traditional Brotherhood encountering the very different Midwestern one, causing lots of tension and even an outright civil war. The Midwestern side could garner a lot of sympathy from the player because they were survivors of horrible airship crashes, had to build themselves back from very little and were basically forced to integrate to a much larger degree than usual with the surrounding wasteland just to survive at all, were arguably abandoned by the larger Brotherood and left to take care of themselves and obviously became much more open to the world even in terms of their membership and views towards the future. Of course, the game has several endings, each almost completely different from another, so their character and state of their region would greatly depend on what would be considered as "true". Tactics was a really good game, so it is unfortunate that the only thing canon is that there actually is a Midwestern BoS chapter, at least to my knowledge.
Honestly there are so many amazing clean power armor mods for F4 someone ought to do an expansion mod for it. Maybe the lore could be the Commonwealth was home to multiple competing power armor manufacturers so now raiders are a lot more likely to have power armor, the power armor fan club is throughout the map, roaming groups of them spawn like roaming traders, there would be power armor mercenary groups as well, and all of them spawning with one or more of dozens of awesome power armor mods. Raiders obviously getting raider style mods, the fan club get the more eccentric and upgraded mods, mercenary groups get the more military mods, and BOS can get a few T-60 upgraded variants. For balance I would think they'd buff super mutants quite a bit with better weapons spawns and higher damage reduction otherwise they're gonna get destroyed in most NPC firefights.
I love how F4 lets you climb in the suits but i do not like how crazy bulky the arms and legs get, i find that it makes them look less advanced than their F1/2/tactics counterparts where they are highly refined and possibly a composite over a light frame not much bulkier than baggy clothing.
The X02 in my opinion isnt that good looking, but after seeing this video. I would have to reconsider. I got the creation club version and its not even close to this mod. I see the X02 in a new light, these are truly amazing mods, keep up the good work!
Love the fact they have Gundam stuff in the game now. I can’t think of a more fun power armor than the Gundam Alex. And I love that Navi came out so my fiancée actually wants to use her power armor.
It looks like the x-02 from fallout 3, the black devil, took design cues from the midwestern set or the brotherhood got ahold of a set when the enclave headed east
The Vault-Tec and Air Force power armors were originally created by AnOneTwo for Fallout: New Vegas back in 2011. That's just an FYI, because I see a lot of people in comments here or on Nexus don't have a clue about it.
They should make Robotic Institute power armor with fixed headpiece. Its should be usable or if you exit it it would act as autonomous combat unit, acting like a companion.
I liked Submersible PA the best. With perks, you can breathe underwater without PA, and you can eliminate radiation in the same way. But if we look at it realistically, how cool it is to explore the waters in such an armor. It's good that it will only be really useful in water, not so much on dry land. I will definitely try the mod. But I think only as the game progresses.
good video had some power armor mods i didn't know about though im not to sure if you were aware of as you didn't mention but the vault tech and airforce power armor show up in the new vegas project Nevada mod
