"I went through hell to get this rifle." - Dante In defense of the "Slayer's" weapons and armor, while they are not super awesome, they do have a use - in settlements. Settlers don't have perks, and so are stuck with base damage, and while you can mod up their weapons, that gets very expensive. Giving them slayer weapons can, however, boost them further. Just keep tract of who attacks where (Somersville is often hit by mutants, Sanctuary is one of the few with animal attacks, etc). Same is true for the armor. Of course, you can also build slayer suits (a set of type-protection armor) that makes you near immune to a foe type, and these weapons are great to match the theme. For example, a Troubleshooter's set of armor (-75% robot damage) and a Troubleshooter's weapon makes the Automatron DLC a very quick run (if you want the benefits of finishing the DLC, but have played it before and don't care about exploring every inch) and the Mutant Slayer's is great for clearing the Automatoys factor and offices. Assassins can make Gunner's Plaza and Libertalia very quick as well. Admittedly those are more the armors than the weapons.
7:19 The worst recoil I have ever had was an automatic laser pistol with the upgraded automatic barrel and the laser scatter barrel. Holy hell you fire that gun for 2 seconds and your character is already looking straight up into the air.
IraqI GaMer ha that's noting I have 4835 fusion cells because I've been using normal weapons and never really had time to use laser rifles or pistols b it now I'm to power full XD
I don't know how I did it, but when I found Virgil's serum I found the room much more easily than that. I didn't have to fight any turrets or anything, I just kinda walked in
In case you didn't know If you have Rank 3 Hacking perk, you can hack a master terminal near the FEV Lab exit (blocked with laser fence) to gain entrance into it without having to go through the dark corridors.
but when are you going to curate some curious curiosities in The Rift, Winterhold, Falkreath and Solestein? I fownd some cool stuff in Falkrath, like a fairi's ring (a circle made of mushrooms).
If you have a PC, it is possible give an Explosive legendary effect to an Institute rifle. Adding a Scattered effect mods to it, you will have a weapon which is much better than an Explosive shotgun - a Non-recoil Gatling Explosive energy shotgun. That is the most powerful weapon the game can have. Nothing in front of it can survive more than 1 second, even in the Very Hard difficulty level.
I remember the Fallout New Vegas Guides Camel do you remember those were the days weren't they. I've been here since the Fallout NV days (on different acc) but thanks for making videos I'm speaking for everyone who watches when I say I really appreciate the effort you put into the videos keep up the good work!
Virgil's rifle hey lol 😂 not sure I have heard this rifle before and I have done a serious number of play throughs Hahaha . I found virgils Sirim on my second play through hahah. Blew the institute first play through went back to see him he cracked it lol :)
Hey Camel can you do some videos on Dragons dogma weapons and powers/spells they are pretty cool. Even thought the game is a few years old it released on PC last year. Just a suggestion.
I'm more than a little confused about this weapon. I compared Institute lasers versus standard laser weapons. The Increased rate of fire that Institute lasers have is only applied to semi automatic receivers. Also when attempting to upgrade the Institute lasers I didn't have access to the "improved" laser mods as they were not listed. So I am very confused as to how you are putting these upgrades on this Institute weapon. If I am wrong then that would be a good thing but after comparing the institute weapons obtained by helping Paladin Danse and then comparing them to the gun he gives you at the end of the quest that is what I found.
Hey camel i Was a frequent fallout 4 player i had beeten it chosing the side of the institute, i also got the season pass for the DLC's however im having an issue, when we changed the storage it wiped the system and i was so annoyed because i put 50+ hours into the game and it was all wiped in a matter of seconds. And i tried to restart the game but because i already know what happens and so the game is just boring for me, do you have any way i could try and get back into the game or its £70 wasted
In my opinion what's the best energy weapon in the game is the laser musket with the two shot legendary effect. That weapon deals so much damage. Expecially with 5 cranks. I honestly say my favorite weapon in the game is the laser musket and I wish I had more modification the game that make the gun look more pretty/advanced and epic.
SkillMaster K Are you sure, a normal Laser Musket with 5 cranks is just simply 5x the power. But a 2 Shot Laser Musket with 5 cranks is 10x the power and it always stays like that even the enemy is slightly damaged unlike Instigating Gauss Rifle. Sure I could say Instigating Gauss Rifle is a good sneak snipe weapon, but Instigating Gauss Rifle falls flat when you come across a durable enemy that has a lot of health.
If you are on Xbox or PC there is no reason not to get "Unique Uniques". For those unfamiliar with it it makes Unique weapons actually unique by adding unique attachments that add unique effects.
Forgetful Bloke damage per hit would be broke, in that case guns like snipers would be much better than automatics when an automatic may have more damage per second.
Hugo Esson | yep. I don't think you would want to go to the Glowing Sea with a normal Pipe Revolver. Try getting the explosive effect on a Combat Shotgun or Minigun or get Big Boy or The Overseers Guardian
It's a Hooded Cleanroom suit, it's not a unique and it can be found on some institute scientist, not sure if it has a set location or not, but if it does it would be in the institute, probably in the reactor room. The merchant at the institute sells the non-hooded one, not sure if he sells that one.
