I hope they fix the bugs with the creation club content, if you download the tunnel snakes rule mod it completely breaks the first quest of the game

This. They could have released an Anniversary edition or something. Fix all the huge issues, such as boston, give us 60fps, better graphics, and 5GB AND the dlc. I would have actually paid for something like that.

I wanted 3 things 1. 60fps 2. Bug/Crash fixes 3. New trophies/achievements I'm ok with 2 of 3. Not sure I'll get to earn all the trophies again.

This is update is for two groups of players. Those on console and those that have never played it before regardless of system. Existing PC players are likely to skip this update. At least until F4SE and related mods are updated to work with the Next Gen Update. I know I will be skipping it for now. Maybe in six months when I start a new playthrough and all the mods I use are updated will I install it.

The update won't break your mods. It's an entirely different download. It's a separate version of the game

@@jacksonmadero5416 it's a new app. It's the next Gen version. It's not an update. You will still have last Gen fallout 4. For example on my ps5 i will have the PS4 version and the ps5 version, two different games. If you wanna play this version you'll have to start a new save file. It's not gonna overwrite the last Gen version

Update on xbox will be forced either update or play offline. Like the skyrim Update. You can turn updates off. it still won't matter. Research it. I think I'm right, but I can't say for sure. I like your videos. Have a blessed day

I figured thats what it was, I was running over 200 mods and it all seemed stable until a minigun was on screen.

I think if you want to avoid update on xbox you'll have to make your xbox your home xbox so you can play offline. Once all mods are downloaded you no longer have to be online. But soon as you go online you'll have to update regardless if updates are off. I think I'm right couldn't swear to it. Fallout is all I play and I'm preparing to stay offline. If you feel the same make sure of load order mods needing enabled and disabled need to be cut etc. Thanks

I don't think you need to worry about it really on Xbox. I've played quite a bit of Skyrim in fallout 4 with mods and they've never really broke with updates

Bethesda does an over haul breaking mods not their own . Moders fixed that. Now Bethesda does it again. I won't be surprised if they keep doing it .

I got updates disabled on steam via "only update when I launch" and "don't download when I am playing" type options - though kinda curious what the update may improve.

I just started playing Fallout 4 again and now it crashes immediately upon trying to open the application I hope this fixes that and all bugs man

I must be one of the few who actually likes the Creations Section in Skyrim Special Edition and would have loved to see that be created for Fallout 4.

I think the creations are fine, although very overpriced. The reason I dislike the store is because on console, the creations take up mod space.

@@Light-YT Whoa, really, that is messed up considering the creations are technically DLC. I agree some of them are definitely overpriced. Maybe some of them are worth the price but not many.

I think your xbox will be forced to update like skyrim. The only way to avoid update is to make your xbox your home xbox and play offline. Don't know for sure, but that's how skyrim was.

Sounds like PC users don’t even need to bother with this one. We are already getting 60 FPS at higher resolutions and access to countless mods that improve it even further. So I think I’m gonna pass.

Maybe Bethesda is like, give people a week or so with the episodes then drop the update to drag players into the Fallout games. No defending Bethesda here as Bethesda still has a lot of things to fix. It almost seems like Bethesda is trying a little to fix stuff, how long will it last? Who knows?
