Ammo conversion machine is essential for people without fallout first. Once your supply of steel goes above like 2-3k you can mass craft railway spikes and convert those into points in the machine. It’s a way to get rid of excess steel without wasting it.
^^THIS^^ Way easier to farm steel and make railway spikes to convert to points, than to farm all the stuff to make your own missiles or nukes or anything else really. Springs for ammo has been kind of annoying for me lately. I like to shoot missiles at things in events, but I don't like hunting down every last spring in the world to make the missiles, especially when I need those springs to make grenades, as well as do repairs on my heavy weapons. Feeding railway spikes to the ammo converter is even more of a boon when you combine the ammo crafting perk card, and the legendary ammo perk card, and the lucky bonus crafted items card, especially since you can farm super mutants for weapons to scrap with the scrapper perk. I'm guessing a lot of people are farming those super mutants anyway, so might as well clean house, then loot up, then scrap all the guns, then drop everything but the steel; rinse and repeat.
No not good. The ammo to steel to convertion raitio is A$$ DO NOT do this. Its easyer and faster to just farm the components/parts for making ammo. 10x more ammo per hr of your time you waste clicking X and O to back out go back.
Probably one of the most important tips if you're like me and have friends who are new to the game: you cannot trade/drop plans you buy with gold bullion with another player, and you cannot trade/drop treasury notes. I found this out because a friend who is new to the game is running a melee build so I thought thorn armor would be a perfect gift. Nope --> cannot trade or drop the item, plan, or currency.
Ammo converter is cool and all for fuel, but if you want a ton and for much cheaper just run the Atlantic City:Flooded city quarter The Human Condition mission. With cremator. Its 1 shot kills with the afterburn, ever better once you get the mods for it. But you can go in there with 100 and walk out with 1900 (tested) in about 30 minutes and an awesome way to grind exp
They’ve definitely made it TOO easy imo for farming ammo now. I think it’s kinda ridiculous that literally every enemy you kill now will drop ammo for your gun including ultracite. But even before that it was still incredibly easy. The ammo converter is a better method once you’re just lazy and rich lol. Who wants to spend time LOOTING every enemy? If they don’t got legendaries don’t care! Just TRADE for steel then use it to farm any ammo you want. Make crap loads to dump in ammo storage after big trades and then you’re set for life lol.

Ammo Converter Pro Tip: Craft Railway Spikes (only requires Steel) and convert them to the Expensive ammo types - Fuel or 2mm - Use the legendary + reg ammo multiplier Perks and Super Duper for the Railway Spikes...

I promise if you go in with 200 fuel using the Cremator you will walk out with 1200+ each time you run Atlantic city Flooded city quarter: The Human Condition. It's good for stim packs as well as tons if exp if you eat foor, have int perked up etc. It's really good for people starting out and gets rid of the need for the ammo converter so you can sell it or donate 😊 Much faster and cheaper than Ammo converter. You can run that mission in 30 min or less, do the math and you get stamps get for turn ins etc. Just try it, it's a good new person farm with Cremator
If you do a follow-up video, you should probably cover the plans that are available exclusively from Minerva, maybe even regardless of how interesting you think they might be, if only because of the minimum number of days you will have to wait under ideal conditions if you miss it on a big sale is around 6 months (wherein the item you want just so happens to be on the 1st week of the 4 week big sale rotation). The opportunity cost is quite high, and notably much worse than the 4 months you thought it entailed. A notable example is the Hellfire Prototype Power Armor Paint plan, which cannot be obtained anywhere except her inventory -- not even for atoms. That one was in the big sale ending April 15th and won't be available again until its next regular Minerva sale appearance on September 16, and that's assuming they don't add new sales to the rotation in the meantime!

I really like the grocer's or pharmacist's backpack mods, as they free up like 3 per/stat points. I also love the vintage water cooler, if you can get them with gold bullion outside of the treasure hunter event...
I’m saving up for the cryo freezer. I started getting into flux farming and it’s gonna be a life saver, I barely got any fluids and only was able to craft 4 flux….i had like 100 flora for 2-3 flux and they all spoiled.
Doing eviction notices raises your reputation with the settlers aswell And the missions for the overseer where you take pics just sell them to the other faction instead of taking back
on previous premium trial, I spent full stock of ammo points in converter on mininukes to store in ammo box, you can use those in camps of others occasionally too, I did so when I was new and had not my own, it is also convenient method of getting start up ammo level if you get new gun or change build to other weapons plasma caster is super cool gun, too bad it sucks on accuracy and projectile speed on long range union PA plans seem to be bugged every second update after being fixed, I guess
I have used the slow buring mod for the creamator and it's the best thing I have ever got its really useful for expeditions if you're op weapons are broken or ran out of ammo
Pro tip DONT USE THE AMMO CONVERTER. Its a novolty item honestly. Day 1 player its 10x faster and easyer to farm the lead steel plastic and you get tons more. Then sit on a bucket and click X O X O for 2 hrs striaght when farming 30 minutes yeilds more then what the converter can spit out. Duper super ammo perk and legendary ammo will net you more then you need. Bean selling ammo forever and always need to dump caps every day. Daily Ops and Expeditions will net 10x more flamer fule then siting X O X O and you get more caps and Legendarys to script. Its a novalty item when your high lvl or high cap influx. No one sells steel dont let scrubs lie to you lmfao. The convertion from spikes to points is minuscule
i just played this game got the jetpack with civil service engineer armor from a player vendor. So worth it without requiring to complete the quest line
10mm pistol guerrilla build is just slightly less powerful than commando meta. It’s a fun build for something different. I have one that mirrors my commando build with q2525 and it slays.
Just want to say the vids have been a great help I'm a returning player not hit in since it was released loving it now. I do feel lost on what to do as I play solo a lot
The ammo converter is a great way to get rid if any excess steel you might have. Im taking my steel and turning it into railway spikes and then turning that ammo into points for ither ammo. Given how steel is the single most common thing to get in the wasteland its a good use of it. The menu is ass but im making it work. Still wish i had unlimited storage like Fallout 4 though fornit would make my life so much easier. And no i dont want to pay for Fallout 1st even though they push that super hard.
Turtle you do need the aerodynamic mod if you’re using a chainsaw outside of power armor or of auto ax or even a Mr. handy a drill, a ripper any of those outside of power armor in power armor you want optimized racers out of power dynamic now I can’t speak to right this moment But when the chainsaws and the auto axes when all of that stuff became viable, I tested them and dynamic extended. You could hold the trigger down it gave you lowered AP cost for holding the trigger down on a chainsaw actually on any of the rotational, the grinding weapons, including the shredder and so did optimize racers in power armor so you do need that if you’re using, any of those weapons out of power armor out of armor uses out of power armor but the chainsaw in the auto act are and they get better with arrow dynamic on your arms
fellow shotgun build player here just get the cold shoulder, dont waste your time on the guass shotgun just wait unil minerva comes with it. even then i wouldnt even make a build the for gauss.
Dang, I’m level 260 but haven’t even progressed to the point of the raid on the vault. Just been doing daily’s and waiting for an outfit I wanted! Now that I have it I can finally play the actual game lol 😂

They need to rotate minerva items. Its been on the same rotation for as long as iv been playing and new stuff from scoreboard coming in and some stuff just never on sale for whatever reason.
The way I explain the turbo fert grenades is that they're like bonemeal in minecraft. And they're very useful in conjunction with the farmable dirt tiles for organizing your "garden". Will Mortimer still show up in crator if you side with the settlers?

So i have a silly question- im running around with 2 versions of my main weapons one prima and 1 non prime.. does the prime do more damage to all and not just scorched ?? my english does not make sence right now but ill try and explain what i mean. i ahve 2x gatling guns one with prime for scorched and 1 for everything else. and i see the prime seems to do more damage to EVERYTHING.and ammo is a non issue. so simplyfied question is.. Is it worth it to get prime for everyday use or am i delusional and its ment ONLY for scorched ?

I'm confused, you have stuff in these vendors that has never been in and currently is not in mine such as the Jewlery Flair Display and Cryptid Card Display and I'm level 800+. I'm certain I own the latter. Do they just not show up if you own them period, as opposed to "owned"?

I prefer t65 over hellcat , ive ran both with overeaters n yes t65 is more expensive but the mods for hellcat are almost double the price of t65 mods. I definitely agree with secret service i run overeaters on my secret service

first off, your underrating gauss minigun so much, it does almost the exact same dmg as the fixer per shot both being maxed ofc and with a much higher firerate + its a heavy weapon which is broken af when using power armour like T 65 when using bloodied and nerd rage, and you dont need to roll explosive bullets because it comes with them without any mods, also just to say, fusion cores ARE NOT HARD TO GET! very common misconception, all you need to do is save up atoms with or without fallout first and buy the recharger OR you can just use the legendary perk that charges them when hit by energy attacks for free! so heavy weps apart from creamator are super underrated compared to what credit they should be given
Iust be missing something i bought the gauss minigun from minerva and i see everywhere that its not the best weapon but it is better than any other heavy weapons i find by a landslide
They really need to look at adding new factions to this game. They instead keep making new currencies. Lore wise, maybe have a new factions wanting to get on the "gold standard" with Vault 79 and you can gain reputation. Enclave would kind of make sense since they're closely related to the agents in vault 79.
The first things I bought three years ago were the T-65 power armor and the Gauss Minigun... don't do my boys dirty like that! haha But as there are better alternatives now I would probably not get them today aswell.

It's not a 'bug' that treasure notes aren't under the new tab.. It's cause you haven't gotten any new ones on that server. This is common knowledge yes? T-notes show up under the new tab for me just fine. PS5 here
