Thus far, the very few trap camps I have found all use the room-full-punji trap. Yet an easy sneaky crouch with light footed perk doesn’t trigger punji dmg. Only one trap camp that did the fill room with punji boards bit had a vendor of various plans common and super rare at ten caps; yet i not only outsmarted the trapper troll, I managed to clean his vendor out of all them plans while he was cussing me out for not dying and dropping loot. A total of 5000 caps spent buying the troll’s bait was worth the abusive language.
Sucks they took away the ability to do that now. I've found a few but I now use the Lightfoot perk to negate the crap and just dance in the traps it's funny to see the character models deform since you are immune to traps while crouching
I tried playing 76 but I had no one to play it with and everybody I ran into would just try and kill me so I gave up lol, didn’t even get to do the first mission.
It sounds like you haven't played any other Fallout games before. You don't need anyone to play together, Fallout was always designed to be played alone. You only "need" other players for events etc., which only exist in Fallout 76. But they are automatically there as soon as an event starts anyway. And the fact that everyone wants to kill you (unless you mean other players) is due to the concept of Fallout. The world is dangerous, dangers lurk everywhere. If you mean other players, then you can always activate the "Pacifist" mode in the settings and they won't do any more damage to you. If this really is your first Fallout, I would advise you to play one of the previous Games (like FO4). But you should actually be fine with Fallout 76, give it a chance again. 👍🏼

Pacifist mode is enabled on all new characters, so you can't even be killed by other players. Jump back into it, no one can damage you unless you explicitly turn on PvP in the settings - so either you're lying, or just reaping what you sowed
Ahhh I love base traps, rarely find a good one that’ll manage to get me, but I’ll laugh my arse off when I do. Also compliment them for their efforts, always cool to see new innovative methods of raiding. Not sure why he enabled pvp with you, lesson learned on his part, Haha!
Ok so I have a trap base but it’s not like you think people get to keep there junk and get 8000 assorted junk as a gift. I just like to test mechanics of the game on another level. Would you attempt to breach and destroy mine like in that video I will give you 10,000 Cobalt flux up front and you can put it in your scrap box before we begin. I just like testing my builds. And after seeing what you try that base I think it will be a good test for both of us to test our skills. What I want you to do is breach destroy and take me out I’ll have pacifist mod off.
Well, they do have to repair it. Most people have loads of scraps but, just to make the other person have to give up something. I’ve watch people rage quit who had trap camps. He also did get some caps for killing him as well.
