The DuchessFlame updated her article on Josie a while back. The speed upgrade at tier 1 does increase the brahmin's speed significantly (x5?, to base speed?), but speed upgrades at tier 2 & 3 just extend their sprint time between hurry pushes (+0.05?, +0.08?). The two ricochet upgrades give brahmin 5 & 10% dmg reflection (but not from grenades). The health upgrades (+50, +70, +100, +100) also improve rad resistance (+50, +70, +100, +100). Overall, I'd say to hire Josie and to buy the speed upgrade at tier 1 are a must. The sooner the better.
Or just don't bother. None of these upgrades are worth it. There is only one thing worth having from this update, and I got that on day 2. I could have got it day 1 but frankly the game was too boring to grind.
That invisible checkpoint is place backwards, to where the brahmin thinks it needs to go through it in the opposite direction and is impassable the correct way.
The upgraded speed works well on private servers. But on the laggy public servers the brahmin seems as slow as without the upgrade. I still suggest upgrading the brahmin first until moving to other employees.
Thanks for clarifying on the feeds. I purchased the speed upgrade. But when talking with Josie again, I saw the option still there. At first, I thought you had to do the feed before each caravan. Regardless, thanks for clarifying that.
Brahmin route can be blocked by fallout1st tent as well. Example at firetruck, if you place it at above cliff, brahming will still go around it, but at cost of even larger distance.
I grinded so hard with another player using the glitch with supplies and now I am maxed out all 3 vendors with 900 supplies left. Now I wait for the cryptid vendor
@@ultrapip2its been forced on some of us...as glitches usually are...all i can say is that the first time i talked to marley i hit all the bottom dialogue options...i was hitting circle on ps5 alot trying to exit the convo...turns out i can start multiple caravans..and rewards are rare...dont know how to fix or exploit this....its just broken badly 🤷
@@ultrapip2 no lol, it beneficial I’m talking about the exploit where you help a caravan but before they finish you start yours and leave it and help finish theirs and you get 50 supplies(only is they started the largest option). So basically you get 100 supplies for the price of 1. There is a risk Brahmin would die left alone but just start your caravan when you are midway into theirs and you should be good. 👍
😂 It's easy to get v63 rifle without glitches. I think those endless travelling cows are caused by genius like you. So what's the point of glitching these stupid tasks?
3:20 My brahmin reflected a glowing deathclaw’s swipe and halved the beastie’s health. Only had the first upgrade of reflectance. Server did lag when it happened, so maybe that effected it.
Also chose "Deadly Beast" as name :D The perfect name to make people drop their jaw in confusion Also used the glitch to maximise the traders, doing Josie last is the way to go. Waiting for Windy Park the Cryptid Hunter now :D
I think there was told somethi g was cut and will add later? Else you get gun and some new plans or what, and rest it kinda pointless at momebt, I guess
Yeah I'll admit the upgrades are a little strange to me. By the time you grind them , they aren't really needed anymore... Like I pretty rarely fail the mission.
@@stealthcobra1525 I havent failed mission so far except first two, and one was due to crash and other because brahmin died fairly late after completion and it told I done it Speed upgrades may be still worth anyway as they just make it faster, if it is worth price is other question, enemies arent too bad issue for endgame player, lower levels or worse geared up people may need HPs too
I haven’t tried it at all but I feel like if you upgrade everything it might be helpful so by the time new bigger update comes out your gonna be set and ready to go. Just like some prepared to have 40k caps for the caravan
Great video as always Mr T 👍 Has anyone else experienced the AP bug doing caravans? My AP remained empty and would not start refilling for over 30 seconds which I know doesn't sound like long but when bring attacked from all sides during a caravan op is painful to watch 😳😢 It's same at eviction notice as well - no change since last patch
Ikr same here hell i even have AP regen on my armor pieces and drink a company tea yet it's still stuck at zero OR it doesn't replenish ap and when it does it goes sooooö slow it drives me nuts..😮💨
@@-db4rf👍 I've tried the company tea and spamming coffee as well as magazines and food no change for me sadly. I just find it frustrating that Bethesda introduce new issues and take so long to rectify them, I'm a great believer when something goes wrong in the old addage "what did you f... With last?" more often than not this approach can lead to the cause and sometimes the solution... Perhaps Bethesda can utilise this when bug hunting 😂 So that I don't come across as a complete negative moaner lol - I have noticed some improvement on my PS5 crashing, it seems to be happening less now which is a good step in right direction at least.
I have most upgrades, all but the last thorn and health upgrade and it feels like nothing is actually working. My overall event time is still about the same, 6 to 7 min and the health regen doesnt work. Edit- okay after watching youve convinced me to get the last upgrades. It still feels like we are being scammed but i am all done otherwise. I got into a great trio last night where we all took turns doing ourr caravans while other folks had active ones. It was very easy. The xp and supplies flowed like water. Also i noticed something odd. Is 6k the max an event caps at. The events team didnt seem to up that at all. Or is thst a vidual glitch. I swear i saw 12k xp once but never again.
Don't know if some of the running backwards/in a circle was intended on the caravan runs but Bugthesda needs to work on the path finding for the caravan runs.
My brahmin, Atomic Thunder, has retired. I'll upgrade him if they ever add alternative routes in other parts of the map. I'd like to be able to break my contract with BRC and do some runs for MODUS. 😂
It’s so lame that the supply yield doesn’t increase with Brahmin upgrades. A tier 3 Brahmin should have visual changes and each delivery should net 100 supplies.
Eh, damn, finally it is explained, in game it is explained not at all.. I assumed you can choose onky one food to give different bonus, not to it be upgrade list that stacks.. so I should have bought speed up right when I could
I wish they'd (Bethesda) put as much energy and effort in other things in the game (fixing bugs, QOL upgrades etc.), like they did with the most boring mission in the game, to extend it and turn it into these convoluted and still boring caravans. Making brahmins faster... come on.
besides the ammo guy for the new gun is there a point in getting the other people? Also how does one get the british redcoat outfit? Bought the outfit and hat at a someones vendor and havent seen anything about it anywhere.
Why bother? By the time you grind all this out, you could have already bought and upgraded every single npc with a bunch left over. This is utterly pointless. Kinda like this whole update. This caravan stuff is beyond boring.
Deadly beast Whahaha 😂 Omg! If two events collide they seem to get mixed up by the servers and bugged. Happend a lot to me yesterday. Suddenly the Brahmin owners changed and they kept running endlessly or not giving the proper reward Good to know the upgraded , I still have not figured out how to get the decorator and ammunition man to rank 3 (though I could get the weapon and all plans at rank 2 it seemed )
So i don't understand you play this quest and what is the gain do you become superman or you get a devastating weapon or what what is the gain is it worth wasting time behind a cow.
