Fallout 76 - For A Good Time, Get A Harpoon Gun! 

Third star as faster reload is what i would prefer, but not easy to get. Also i miss the old "spike" weapons where you could nail stuff to walls or make makeshift stairs up cliffs.

If you're a vats build, a quad crit damage harpoon gun turns into a great boss killer. I took it to Earl and it did serious work.

It's a very fun weapon and yes the rubber banding in third person+PA with harpoon has been there for years. I myself collect many variants of this gun the best one is quad ffr and use it with flechette mod in strangler heart to also stack poison, very good in expedition with gunfu. You can shoot it 2 times with a trick. If you’re in firstperson and shoot hipfire then immediately aim while still holding fire it will fire a second shot. This works with almost every weapon

Back when you could get the explosive variant on them, they hit pretty hard. Good video!

its not the server lag its the gun for some reason it causes lag. It's weird, but if you go into 1st person it stops doing it but you have to bring out a different weapon then bring it back out

Been trying to find one for a while now to complete my pirate build, it's so hard since everyone just considers this scrip.. so depressing..

High hit chance misses suck. Especially in the heat of combat. Also hate when hit lands (see damage numbers) but enemies seemingly show no damage taken. Enemies take damage outside of vats fine. Well idk fun vid.

Fisherman build harpoon gun and spear only have fun.

rubberbanding also in 1st person, but only in events and with jetpack/jumping very high

Gun-Fu neutralizes rubber-bending somehow.

I would love to have one with vats hit chance I can't believe it misses so easily. I'd take one somebody doesn't want for sure its a cool weapon

I for whatever reason have good luck with harpoon drops. Got a number of good rolls on them. The one I've kept for myself is quad ffr crit charge. I have the same but with ap cost reduce for sale currently. I've also gotten a few anti armor, instigating and bloodied rolls that were quite good. I sell them for cheap, but not dirt cheap, hoping someone will give them a chance and not just scrip them. I use mine full health, no pa and when adrenaline gets up, it does well. I can 1 shot a level 100 super mutant with a headshot and the bleed damage. I think a power armor bloodied build with my quad would be pretty nasty. I wish they'd let them be explosive. I see no reason for them not to be since they're not energy weapons

Instigating, crit damage, and reload speed is probably slightly better. Could also run like quad, crit damage/vats hit chance, and weapon speed and probably do some decent work

Do you sell the weapon or do you exchange it? I like it a lot but I've had bad luck with the legendary modules, the best one I have is a bloody one

Two shot 50 crit 90 reduced or 25 lv one shot champion it takes out power stackers you get like 4-8 1k plus crits per headshot boom and the ammo can be picked up off almost any body’s quads okay but it just gives you 6 shots

Harpoon gun is just so fun also thank you for the video and does flechette do better usually? I understand you have instigating which would be lost on flechette but for other effects I wonder

I thought the harpoon gun has 3 shots or was that fallout 4 or some variant maybe? I recall trying it out myself it feels like a shotgun and did decent damage to scorchqueen

I just got one that was designated cursed (like holy fire) Im not sure if thats new or not but I'm going to try it out.

I have tried very hard to make this gun work. So very hard. The Plasma Caster just trumps it in every way possible 😑

Unless they patched the "fixed" weapon speed... faster fire rate or faster reload wouldnt do much if you have speed demon... Also flechette is a lot of fun with this weapon and it will give you so many harpoons jn return youll be overencumbered in minutes xD
