Thx this really helped out and i found it easier if once you jump activate vats then punch and spam jump, but rn its hard bc i keep falling over into the abyss lol
If you put a survival tent outside the silo, after initiating the launch sequence you can immediately jump into a daily op, then back out of it to your tent. Then you can take the elevator down and just sit in the elevator while the robots do the work.
If you don’t have marsupial, you can continue on that path until you get to the room with the arch hallways below the launch room. Once below it, you can jump up and see the floor. Enemies are inside and they will swarm the room once the security turret inside sees you. After that, one will come over. When they do, repeat the exact same move you did with the mine just on one of the enemies. Or, you could always try tossing up a mine inside too and do the same. Either on works.

If you do the first part where you have to make a bio card you can photo mode glitch through 3 doors after that and head straight to the launch room doesn’t normally take me any time at all
nice, was so confused when a party member was in the launch room when I was gathering the id card. Saves about half the time was able to catch up to him right when the nuke launch. The laser grid for the mainframe room seems to break if your party member does this, but can just use the term to disable it.

I drop my first nuke below level 80 and took me almost an hour, plus lot of ammo and stims. I havnt done it since but today level 450+ I launch from all 3 silos, 1 after every Grahm meat event. Took less than 10min each time. Thank you for this video.
The mine should be on the far left corner of the box. Its a lot easier without PA and if you have marsupial. Jump across the top of the robot spawners.
Made a team today for event, played for daily challenges. Saw one 150-ish level teammate at silo so I went there to help them. They just warped into the seiling :/ in the end I went the "old" way through the laser, photo mode glitch the door, vanilla style cores and help them with last few enemies. Maybe I took too long with looting everything that was not nailed.
Dude they make you do so damn much to launch a dang nuke. Not onlu collecting everything just to open a silo but damn i never have enough time to play through the freaking silo to launch it. So i wind up waisting all my ammo sometimes leave all my scrap i cant store cause my inventorys always full and dont wanna pay 12 bucks a month for storage in one game. If u dont succesfully launch its a big loss. Thanks for this hope it stjll works 2024
it took me about 20 minutes to hit the mine just right to propel me into the sky, i walked along the walls, but then fell in between the first set of laser grids and was trapped between them 🤦🏼
Ok as of today you can do the mine trick but theres a certain point now where there is now a invisible wall where the main room is so as far as I can tell it does not work anymore. Its a shame because I have done the whole thing before glitchless but the resource demand to do it does not outweigh the gain and honestly not worth doing it the intended way now. I usually prefer glitchless but the whole thing is bs and people have argued in comments that anyone doing this glitch are "scumbags" but this game is ancient now and people are fed up of the unfun chore that are the silos which are downright impossible to solo below level 100 especially with recent updates that made it even harder. I just have stacks of keycards which I'll never get to use because I cannot be bothered to do the silo missions.

Can I get a ban for this if no one sees that I am using this glitch and none of the players have evidence for me? (I mean if any admin can observe such behavior and ban the player)
I mean, using any kind of glitch could result in a ban. This is absolutely bankable but most players not gonna waste their time trying to ban you since they benefit from it too.
I can’t seem to get the mine to land on the boxes. My character wants to throw them from about chest height and then the immediately fall. On a rare occasion I can seem to get him to throw one above his shoulders. 🤷♂️ *edit* nevermind it seems there is just a sweet spot for where you stand and aim. I was able to do it easily once I found a spot where my character was consistently throwing it upward
i know im a bit late for this comment but if u go to g2g and search fallout 76 items you can buy legacies for like under $6 if u find the right ones after u purchase they will send u a message of their name and u add them or they will add u. Once complete just join their game and find them they will drop the gun. (make sure the seller is online shown by the little green icon on their profile on g2g and make sure they only charge u a minimum of 1 legacy, sometimes they sell them cheap but require u to buy a minimum number)
I don’t think it works on PS5 anymore. It doesn’t work because you can no longer jump while in VATS. Thus eliminating being able to glitch through the ceiling.

lmao what? You have to go through like 4 different objective based doors, like the radiation pipe fixing, the damaged core replacing, etc. Theres no way this isnt quicker
