Fallout 76: PVP Scammer and trap camp exposed. 

Pvp is broken. Why people do it on this platform when so many better options exist is beyond me. Mainly, it seems to be griefers or bullies which is why I made this character. With a good build, there is only one way to kill a pvp setup. It's absolutely pointless unfortunately.

@@TheGlowingOnee don't even need to do that if you have a good build. Stims work fine. It's a shame they don't fix it for people who would enjoy pvp. Either way, it's a horrible platform for pvp. Combat in general in this game is pretty bad. We play because we like the "Fallout" aspect not the game mechanics lol. They broken pretty bad.

they should bring back nuclear winter so pvpers can go play there

I'm recording a new series. Yesterday, an entire group were sitting at Whitesprings Train Station for about 4 hrs. I was level 17 when 3 attacked at Nuka World, I was able to kill 2 of them. Then at Whitespring Station they had 2 wanted characters. Their medic shot me when I was level 20 something so I killed her and she whined that she was their team medic 🤣 not spec'd for pvp. I switched characters and nobody wanted to play with me after that. They were just bullying not using a trap camp. This is every season..... As the season progresses, you see servers start getting empty. As a new season approaches, people start coming back to brush up before it starts. You'll start seeing more of this as the new season on Dec. 5th approaches. And yes you're right.... a poor waste of time.

I don't mind a good trap design. Some are really creative and I love building camps.

@3Ggaming589 trap bases are cool when done creatively but some are just cheap ways to get junk off new players!

@@lonesnip3rwolf most are uncreative garbage. I do appreciate the good builds though. The bullying of low levels is ignorant and shows the person's mental capacity.

I see a lot of good build get instantly wiped out by pvp setups. I think im going to do a video about perk load outs and another to explain why pvp is broken and pointless.

@@3Ggaming589I think you already showcased why pvp is pontless. Also to add, I seen a lvl 2000+ the other day who was Wanted and tried to kill him because why not, he was wanted. He was afk for like a good 5 secs and in that time, I barely did any dmg. I was also using an enclave flamer. Bro came back and destroyed in seconds lmao. Also to note, he had PA and I did not.

@@mordecai6351 Using a flamer does very little damage if they have sizzling style equipped. They also are likely using sentinel armor which negates damage if they are standing still lol. I don't pvp using power armor since it's so broken. In reality I don't pvp unless attacked. Melee is not made for pvp and normally I carry knuckles, a knife, paddle ball, picket sign or commie whacker 🤣 They are my weapons of trash destruction 🤣

Nope. Most people actually try to be good at the games they play..... Having team medics heal you at scam camp is a little elaborate though.

A lot of trap designs are manually tripped. The card won't work for those unfortunately. There really is no way to program a work around for those designs. I'm not against trap camp building. Some are extremely impressive in design. This was not one of those.

You can only destroy a camp if they engage in pvp with you. Pacifist must be on.

also a level 50 will not have levelled up legendary perks no matter what (and unless its a smurf, will have only 1 legendary perk slot) so yeah the level 2000 will have a clear advantage

Trap camps are set up to kill players. Some I have seen were really creative and a fun encounter to see. Unfortunately, most are cookie cutter copies of things they see online and the builders didn't try to make it unique or different from what they seen in the video. The point of building anything is to make it your own as much as possible.

@@ix_stompdown_-xi8199 only after you initiate pvp. Being wanted alone doesn't allow you to just destroy a camp. You have to engage with the person in order for camp destruction to be triggered.

If you have good armor and a good build, you can be ridiculously tanky. I don't know how many times people accuse me of cheating and I don't even use power armor 99% of the time anymore. I mainly use it to go into rad zones.

Appreciate the feedback. Going to post a video on perk loadouts. I don't mind pvp being in game. I do however hate bullies. Most of the community is great. Came across this guy a few times following the people he just bullied and harassing them. They were really low level. No reason for that at all. The reason I shared was the amount of plot and effort he put into doing it. Multiple people helping keep him alive, mule accounts for material and crits. It was very elaborate and sad at the same time lol.

You can pvp 3 ways. 1. You can be good. 2. You can hide behind stealthboys. 3. Hide behind stealthboys and mods. I only do the first one.... 🤣

I don't even pvp with people who use armor anymore. No point in spamming quantums and all that crap. Everyone using duped armor really takes the fun out of it. A friend has a set of PA assassin with cryo. Only way to kill him is a critical which he can avoid with a stealthboy. Pulse Mines don't work. It just kills the fun. I run a bear costume and a jawbone, picket sign, wiffle ball bat or paddleball.....

It's really not a big deal to lose at little scrap. Griefing low levels is a different problem in itself. Go grief high levels if that what you really want to do. Leave the low levels out of it. You clearly know you're being toxic on purpose and to what point?

I have a video explaining the fundamentals of a good build. I recommend checking it out. It took a long time playing and talking to people as well as testing but I assure you the technique works well.

He baits people with his trap camp to steal their junk. Caught him several times trying get people to pvp while he is using a medic to keep him alive. That's a scam not pvp. The video description clearly says pvp scammer, not trade scammer.

@@FaJlout it's scamming when he tries to get low level people to pvp and tells them bs information about how pvp works. I cut a good 20 minutes out the video due to length. He was telling us there is no difference between level 50 and 2000. Several low level players came along and he was leading them into the camp to "give them things" just so his crap camp could kill them. There is a huge difference between role playing and being a bully. Following low levels around after you took their junk and making fun of them is not role playing. It's intentionally being toxic.

PVP is very broken in Fallout. Finding honest people is difficult. In the past we've had people build arenas. Being in-between scoreboards means less people playing. I've considered running some events but participants would have to be on my discord streaming to verify the fairness of the battles. There are so many ways to have an advantage, monitoring it would be a pain if we wanted to guarantee the matches were fairly balanced. If done properly a league could be formed but who would want to do it unless someone monitored the participants to ensure no cheating was going on. That is the challenge. It's possible but the butthurt from people losing is another drama to deal with 🤣. I can't tell you how many times we've been accused of hacking or power armor stacking. I don't even use PA anymore because of the advantages and ability to stack armor STILL HAS NOT BEEN PATCHED. You can easily find me in game if you want to play or learn more about it. I don't know it all but I understand the vast majority of it. IGN (Stitches.)

There are ways to kill pvp builds. Not letting all the secrets out lol. He was using plasma mines which works on bloody builds but not full health.

@@FaJlout we've done about 300 hrs of testing between a friend and I. He's a serious pvp player. I'm not lol. Low health builds can be killed with plasma depending on their build. This is my lazy full health no food pve build and it works well.

@@3Ggaming589 bro rank 3 of fireproof negates plasma grenade damage completely, i should know as i have almost 5 years of experience getting hit by grenades

@@FaJlout you'd be surprised at how bad some people's perk loadouts are. I've helped several and was surprised at the perks they run. Watch out for plasma Mines if they drop and vats them.

They definitely need to correct it. High risk absolutely sucks for pvp or anyone else for that matter. Bringing nuclear winter back as a permanent world would greatly reduce player toxicity.

@@3Ggaming589 haha after I wrote that I wondered to myself how good high risk could be if you hadn't even mentioned it. That sucks, the PvP really interested me before this game released, but I've hardly ever touched it. Just duels with friends cause I'd rather go play a game with at least somewhat balanced PvP. Overwatch is in a better state lol. Nuclear winter was dope, my fav battle royale for sure

@@CarltonSmith45 hopefully they fix it some day. Honestly though, I love fallout, don't get me wrong. But.... the combat mechanics suck for pvp. Go play a game designed for it if that's what you want. The mechanics in this type of game are garbage for that type of game play. It couldn't be worse if they made Super Mario pvp...

why the grenades if I may ask? Not too knowledgeable about that side of the game, but interested in eventually killing the odd level 900+ assholes that occasionally appear at my workshops

@@thorveim1174 Pulse nades an mines are very strong an if you can throw one then vats it should blow it up an do more damage than it's supposed to because you shot it which detonates it's which provides a lil more damage you can also crit them for even more damage. Then you can use explosive cards crit cards mags bobbleheads to make it even more stronger Ps throw one at your feet an you will know👍

Also guns that's you vats nades with also can make you damage increases: vatsing with a legacy dragon is probably the highest amount of damage for the pulse.

I'd love to see them if you're on PC! Sounds like some cool building techniques were used.

You can do that without bullying low level players....

Level does matter. If it's your first play through, you don't have access to all the legendary perk cards until level 300 let alone have them maxed out. You sound like the guy in the video. He said, "There is no difference between level 50 and 2000." 🤣 Clearly you haven't done a recent play through. Not even all the regular special cards are available until level 100....

Lol you think level matters and you unlock all perks at level 50 if you do your build right you can be just as un killable at 50 I’m sorry you’re such a noob you need to hide behind a high level account. Lol who needs legendary perks. All you need is good stuff and a bit of skill

Level matters. First, a level 50 is unlikely to have perfect legendaries without exterior help. Second, even with smurfing, a level 50 will NOT have any legendary perks maxed, and may not even have them levelled at all in order to get the regular perks in place.

We watched him do it for a while. He was griefing when we showed up. Maybe read the comments and see how many people have met this guy in game before you leave stupid comments and make accusations kid.

I'd love to see that if you're on PC or sending a link to a video please. I've seen some awesome ones that required a lot of skill.

I love a good camp build, trap camp or not. I love showcasing camps as well. This was a dumpster fire and there is no reason to bully people. Plenty of people will pvp in this game if that's what you're looking for.

It was free during Christmas which is why I have it....

I see when he's on and occasionally check his camp to see how many people he's had nuke it. He has a counter on the side of his camp to keep track. Maybe you're the one defaming since you're making accusations and questioning my moral integrity? You can read his comment below if you'd like more proof I wasn't telling the story wrong...... You can also read through the comments for the testimony of many who encountered him theirselves. Looks like you're the one trolling now. 🤣

I love camp building. Some trap camp are awesome. I like how creative some people are about making them. They aren't a big deal when you see one. Store your junk and you have nothing to lose by exploring one. Being intentionally toxic and bullying low levels is an issue though. No need for that.

@@Zabzim he was wanted. Attacking him initiated pvp mode. This allowed the camp to be damaged. Sadly pvp is so broken and he was not too knowledgeable. He couldn't kill my level 98 at the time even with help from his friends. This tells me he doesn't know much. Any pvp build can be killed without a lot of effort. I don't use buffs, magazines or any of that garbage. It's too resource intensive. If you can't kill another player in 30 secs or less, tell them they have a good build and walk away. Otherwise you'll fight until someone runs out resources. I'm sure Bethesda intentionally did that to stop griefers but some people just don't get it...

@@3Ggaming589 sooner or later they will disable PvP entirely in public servers. You have fallout worlds for that sort of thing.
