BTW that clip of my exiting my Power Armour 9:23 was not intentional and that guy almost stole it, what actually happened was I pressed the "interact" key which somehow also made me exit my power armour. It's a pathetic port with horrible controls.

Actually about V.A.T.S, you could actually slow down time in a multiplayer game, it has been done before, F.E.A.R did it in its team-deathmatch mode, basically the one activating the slow-mo effect creates a zone around them where everything is affected by the slow-mo except their aim speed which is unaffected by the slow-mo (and they move slightly faster than everyone else), it worked great (and the aim of the mode aside from killing each other was getting to the device that activates the slow-mo first), and that was back in 2005. And they could have easily created PVP servers or PVP zones where it's free-for-all warzone, and those who want to avoid it can play on co-op servers or avoid PVP zones. Bethesda was just being so fucking lazy.

I'm gonna enjoy this...

This should be fallout 4 dlc. Even then i would question if it was worth it.

Conclusion: no, it's not. I doubt much will change but Bethesda being completely radio silent right now says everything. And they're confirmed using the same engine for the next Elder Scrolls. *Sigh* I blame the fans letting Bugthesda getting away with their crap since Oblivion.

Apparently Elder Scrolls 6 will use the Fallout 76 engine. I hate to say it but I'm 99% sure it's gonna suck. I hope I'm wrong.

I really thought you would just be dinging your bell non stop for 12 minutes with fall 76 footage playing in the background.

Over a year later, I have now put more hours in the game in the last week, than I did on launch. The wastelanders DLC has made this game playable now, although, still the worst of the Bethesda Fallout games, it’s now a 6/10 for me and, during lockdown, I haven’t got much else to do. Fallout 5 has to be on the level of F3, single player, next gen.

I read they are using the same engine in the elder scrolls 6

So we have two options to go : 1) This is Bethesda's trajectory and they're going to continue to pump out shovelware... 2) This is Bethesda's wake up call and they're going to rethink their ways and make The ElderScrolls 6 good.

I'm scared for The Elder Scrolls 6

Listening to this a little over two years after it was made, and the inventory issue is still there. They increased the base box size, but it doesn't change that you're still taking guns, PA, food, and meds when you venture out. And they haven't done anything to make personal inventory larger. Having to leave tons of stuff behind is not fun. Especially in a game from a franchise where picking up everything is the norm.

I knew from the second I heard that they were not releasing on Steam that this game was in a garbage state, they knew it was in that state, knew that people would flip their shit when they saw it and knew there would be a massive wave of refunds demanded. To distribute on Steam you are legally bound to comply with the Steam refund policy. The best part is they fucked it up so much worse than I imagined. They fucked it up so bad that they have now ended up offering refunds. They never said expressly, but the writing was on the wall and you wold have to be brain dead to not see that they originally had no intention of offering refunds AT ALL. What a fucking joke.

Fallout 4 already had so few quests... like really, a simple village in Skyrim sometimes had more quests than the whole world in Fallout 4, seems like they thought "why not skip it completely in 76?"

By far the best game review channel there is. Worth a Buy is my got to channel before any game purchases now. As for Fallout 76 it’s a disgrace. No other industry would be allowed release a product that isn’t fit for purpose and is basically broken without some kind of recourse for the purchaser. Once you fix the FOV, DOF, get it to work at 60 hertz on your high refreshrate display, fix vertical/horizontal mouse sensitivity, etc, etc (and ignore the sometimes flickering grass) the game is actually pretty good. It's not Fallout CO-OP like I wanted, it is a multiplayer game, but it's not an MMO and feel like a singleplayer games. At times you only remember when loot takes a moment to load! But it actually feels like a singleplayer fallout game in the sense of the physics, world, graphics etc. But if you don't fix the issues I just mentioned, how are you going to have the competency to manage your loot? Bulk sale any non-important material after you get more than 50 of it. There is no need for it beyond that number since you can always get more. The game has problems, the AI is actually decently smart when it works (Which is most of the time, despite the hate the game gets) But I agree the movement on the ghouls needs to be normalized so that they move more naturally/predictably, making them easier to hit but once you fix all the things I mentioned aiming gets MUCH easier. Someone who enjoyed Fallout 4 (My favorite is still New Vegas) will enjoy this game IMO. Unless maybe you've been a vats using noob. VATS just won't be great in multiplayer unless they want to make it an aimbot. PS: Agree 100% with the PVP, there shouldn't be damage reduction of any kind. If they want to avoid PVP they should enable passive mode.

As someone whos played thousands of hours of the previous games i personally enjoy it, but i agreee with the video too. It needs A LOT of work. so much can be done RP wise. Factions to join and do major quests with. Player Shops. Player Faction Creation (clans etc). Open-field Battlegrounds. So much could've and can be done.

I'm celebrating by reinstalling the last half decent fallout: New Vegas.

It makes me think back to the late 90's, playing Fallout 1 & 2, and talking with my friend about how each of us were progressing through the game. At the time, I thought "This could be so cool if I could play co-op with friends". I never could have expected it to have come to this much of a train-wreck in 2018.

Him dropping the f-bomb for a glow-in-the-dark map is enough to make me not want to buy the game!

I actually liked the game to begin with, i was enjoying the exploring and looting, improving my gear, improving my skills. The sandbox aspect of Skyrim and Fallout 3/4 was always something that appealed to me and this seemed to share that quality. And i was having a laugh on occasions with other players. But then i got about 30-35 hours into it. I was starting to get a bit bored of the crafting and scavenging gear, and just exploring areas that only offered more scrap, and mostly boring events. So I decided to get more into the main quest line and that was when i and noticed how dull and stale the game really is. It just wasn't doing it for me. And if i have to shoot another brain dead scorched i'm gonna be sick lol! Is the game beyond saving? Probably. That said if they were able to do the following, 1) Improve the netcode and make it less glitchy 2) Increase Stash size to 500, Allow respecing. Make Atoms earnable from all quests and repeatable events. 3) Add raiders and wandering human npcs to map that can be either quest givers or traders 4) Add a new zone to the west that is pvp only and has a 32-48 player cap with full looting. Gameplay would be similar to RUST but with nukes and supermutants + raiders to keep you on your toes. 5) Add a new zone to the east that has living npc settlements and overarching storyline that would play out similar to FO4. Then we might end up with a decent game on our hands but Bethesda is unlikely to act on any of the big changes/additions and only tweak small things. But they have become lazy bastards.

If enemies are going to be bullet sponges then combat should be totally redesigned with that in mind. Like your bullets; based on type of weapon and calibre, should cause knockback. Like a Shotgun should blow them back! And to prevent constant stun lock, a person can get a shield up or roll out of the way of more oncoming shots. Also guns can jam or overheat. Knockback would be so cool anyway for blowing people off ledges and through windows, and that too should be more damage. This would make the whole Bullet Sponge concept more fun and acceptable rather than just seeing HP tickoff and the enemies not showing any feedback at all.

At the end of the review you should had given the middle finger instead ...

I was invited to the stress test. Played it for 3 hours of the 4 hours it was up. Cancelled preorder and didn’t even bother playing the beta. I’m with you Mack I’m really scared for TESVI.

For those playing and want advice on storage. 1) Always scrap junk before putting it in your stash. 2) You can have multiple PA frames, so put armour on it to save yourself 40-50lb. 3) Carry 3 weapons max. 4) Seriously, only take what you need, it isn't Fallout 4. Other than that, can't defend it, it's shithouserry of the highest order but I hope these tips help. I paid £20 for the game, before anyone asks, and I would never pay more.

I waited over a year to play ARk because it was early access but had some intersting conceps. The first day I logged into ARK it ran at 5 FPS and I got mauled on the beach by dinos while I was setting up my controls. I persetrvered, built my first thatch foundation, puched trees until my health was half gone, made a pick then got promptly mauled by a t-rex in the darkness (the torch lagged me out so I coudn't move) Fallout 76 on launch makes that first day on ARK during early access look like a masterpiece.

I really wonder why people are surprised. Bethesda games were always buggy and the only people that fixed them and gave them such high popularity and lifespan were the Modding community and not Bethesda. Just look at the Doom Multiplayer they have no idea how you should handle a multiplayer.

It's not lazy, the devs worked their asses off for this. The problem is the leadership has an set vision and it's shit. They force devs to produce their shitty vision, working 7 days a week.

I love ya, Mack--even if you tear a new one for games I happen to be enjoying. FYI, there's a patch on the 4th and 11th that address a lot of your major issues. Bigger stash, option to join another server if your camp is blocked, a way to clear the campsite, SPECIAL respec, push to talk, some major bugs, etc. I think they'll get a lot of that stuff balanced pretty quickly. Respectfully, I don't think you still understood some of the nuances of the base system as it is and that is that it was meant to mobile and a game of musical chairs of sorts and you never actually lost everything. You learn smaller footprints place more easily and worse case you could still break it down to the parts and rebuild. But no matter, they are changing it due the all of the folks who didn't get it and cried foul. Ding ding. It's not an rpg and wasn't meant to be. It's sandbox survival--fans of which, like me, don't need the same kind of story driven game. We just want an immersive world to play in. But beyond the tapes and notes, there is a huge amount of environmental storytelling that I really appreciate. Finally, I'm glad for the checks on pvp. Unrestrained pvp is way too toxic for me. I don't want Fallout Call of Duty with alpha gangs. There is also the Hunter and Hunted Radio Station for folks who want to opt in to full pvp. It gives you a target to track down and they have another target. And you all do full damage.

The pvp thing was actually a good idea, because without the limitation of "fight back first, then the fight really starts" this would just be another Ark Survival game.

It would be great if the reason there is no story is bale cause the 76 people are the first on the surface and then they release an update where more dwellers surface, introducing a new story and the need to build settlements and help npcs set up towns.

I remember when world maps in games were just part of the game. No special or collectors edt, it was a part of the basic game. It was just a neat little thing added to the game because it was made with pride, love and passion and didn't cost anything extra to add.

Bethesda doesn't care about your opinion (an even about the game itself, lol), BUT they care about your sweet wallet!

My brother i are having fun in this game,but we both admit that it is not what it should have been.The polish just is not there, The stability in the servers is not there, There is a grind to unlock new parts for weapons.We can only hope that in the coming months these problems are fixed and this game becomes something worthy of the fallout name.

The stars and planets have aligned. FO76 has done something rare in this day and age. Brought together people from all over for one common truth. Bethesda has royally fucked up. Feels so rare to have this level of harmony between everyone. I mean you got your outliers who like it, but overall. People have come together over this. I never really DESIRE a game to fail, but in this case I’m glad 76 has so far. Not because i wanted it to be awful, but because maybe this will teach them to treat us as gamers and such a BELOVED franchise with the respect it warrants. Hope this is a lesson Bethesda, and i really do hope this doesnt destroy the Fallout franchise...

interestingly its right my alley now: perks, levelling, grinding, grindable store items, no players, nice graphics, more grinding and more levelling. id play it for 5$ on steam, hopefully being alone on a working server

I'm very curious about the QA/Testing. Did the testers of this game flag problems up? were the quality of the testers up to scratch? Was the feedback from testers honest or just what Bethesda wanted to hear? I would be really interested in this aspect as problems should have been forseen well before release if the testers and QA were up to scratch. Or was it just a simple case that Bethesda just could not deliver the product people wanted and just released the poor product that we ended up with.

Another thing I hate about this game is the farming a spot for faster xp to level. I have a hard time playing to get xp by adventuring around if I know I could be leveling 3x faster but it’s super boring. And yes I could just play the game but all the high level weapons I got are taking up all my space so I want to use them and get rid of all the bs.

Why Bethesda Softworks does not offer an opportunity to Obsidian Entertainment to develop a new Fallout game? It is the desire of many gamers to see a new delivery by this company, they obviously have the ability and talent to offer a great new fallout game. It would be interesting to see what the result would be from that decision. But next time remember that there is a part of the public that still enjoys the experiences of a single player and please do not try to add Microtransactions, it is enough for me to pay the game only once.

You know how people always make videos about « amazing small details » in various games ? They should make the opposite of that in this game. I mean how can the sky be so fucking clear in a post nuclear war world. And that’s just to name a bit of it, so fucking many flaws
