If the OG creator of Fallout, Tim Cain, praises the show and is quote "excited for seasons 2" im pretty sure that tells you everything you need. Tim described himself "Getting lost in the scenes" and found it very immersive. You can have WHATEVER opinon you want... just know that its wrong.
@@thecryptosandpoxman Buddy, he was the original creator. What im saying is the Fundementals the basics the brass tacks of the universe in the show MUST be good if the OG creator likes it. Lore is a different story but the lore of the NCR dying was created by other Fallout OG's and New Vegas creators J Saywer and Chris Avellone. This show is what they wouldve have done to the NCR in lets say a New Vegas 2. Go ask them.
@@thecryptosandpoxman That's wrong. Fallout 2 take place in the ending of Fallout 1 where you help Tandi thus the NCR is formed and you actually succeed in helping vault 13 and you didn't help the Master, Rhombus is alive, the Hub is successful, and you don't kill vault 13 overseer (there are endings condition of these opposite events). There are definitely a Canon version of the endings. Just look up the Fallout wiki page for Fallout 1 ending and search canon.
Hey people liked The Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker. They are good Sci-fi movies but not good Star Wars movies. It's a like a good B+ show. It's just not a good Fallout show though.
The only thing cringe is newcomers to the series acting like this doesn't affect the previous games. Having the NCR be destroyed affects several Fallout games. Also Vault Tec launching the bombs makes no sense. I also don't remember ghouls being able to take 50 bullet shots in a row. Where in the games do ghouls take a drug to prevent them going feral?
In this case i too am a little hurt about some things in the seris but compering to other game based adaptations it is great but tbh as a show it feels realy cheap and low budget we dont get to see laser guns, plazma, mutants and many more maybe the second season will make it right (also writting could be a little more serious in my opinion it kinda spoiled the more mature parts of fallout lore)
I agree and think it was a much better adaptation then something like Rings of Power or Resident Evil. I don't like what they did with the lore. I do think they could add lasers, Super mutants, Deathclaws and the Enclave. That would help it connect with the games and help it feel more set in the Fallout universe. It wouldn't fix fix what they did to the lore but they could add many things from the games. E,g using RadAway or Rad-X.
The first fallout game was made by Interplay Productions though. So Fallout 2 should be count as fanfiction as well. See how ridiculous this train of thought is?
@@azrielmoha6877 Black Isle, who made Fallout 2, were a division of Interplay, so still the same company. Plus Tim Cain worked on both, even if he wasn't the lead developer on 2. But yeah of course it's ridiculous. I find that often if someone's being gatekeepy, then the most fun approach is to out-gatekeep them and see if they start getting all defensive. I loved the Fallout TV series. I actually think it's the best Fallout has been since the two originals.
Bethesda games changed or broke the most lore. New Vegas is much more accurate to Fallout 1 and 2. Although Mr.House and Caesars Legion were made for the game and could be considered fan fiction.
@@thecryptosandpoxman broke the lore is an exaggeration and shows how lack your knowledge of the actual lore are. There are small retcons yes, but no contradictions or massive error. Most of them are new lore that doesn't contradict Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 events, you know, because it take place in the FUTURE and in DIFFERENT PLACES.
@@Morec0people are salty because there favorite faction got knocked down a peg even though they were the strongest faction and the ncrs ending is quite ironic a nation trying so hard to stay on the path of pre war America dies the same way pre war America did
