Paciencia is just Ratslayer in .308 both are more then capable of killing a death claw

Ratslayer has 23 base damage and 23 crit damage, which combined is lower than just base damage of a regular battle rifle, that has 48 base and 48 crit. Though Ratslayer can be useful in early game, there are much better options.

What kind of mod are you using for these Borderlands style damage score?

Does this build work well or is it much less effective on very hard, hardcore mode on? I am Wondering bc I want to start my first very hard, hardcore all the way through playthrough and I’m wondering if this build is fun or good or effective enough for that. Or are one shot kills too important or hard to accomplish stealthily that way etc. for maintaining stealth and combos all the way through. Or is a different play style more effective or advantageous for a very hard survival hardcore playthrough bc I’m wondering if enemies might be too tanky to take down in one shot on very hard and if that makes smooth stealth runs impossible.

Best rifle in the game

Intelligence is overrated as hell in Fallout games. You can max out your skills easily with 5-6 Intelligence and having higher Special elsewhere is much better (like Strength or Endurance).
