Ive always thought honest hearts was missing something and was carried by graham but this vid made me realize the missing part is your caravan that gets murdered instantly, had only one or two died and the rest lived to set up a camp and give quests the dlc would have felt a lot better rounded

Playing the DLCs when you're new to the game, it feels like 4 shorter games. Massive awesome worlds for only 5 dollars each. When you're more experienced you learn it barely takes 40 minutes to beat them each.

If you go to Goodsprings IRL, they have a Goodsprings snowglobe and bottle of Sunset Sarsaparilla at the bar in town. They will also offer you a beer at 8 AM.

My solution to the limb problem. Don't heal three out of four of them. All you need is one leg, your torso, and your head. Concussions are the most annoying to endure, and fuck up your perception. A crippled torso leaves you vulnerable to interruptions in your attacks. And no legs slow you down. You can afford to just go around with crippled arms, no worries. To save up on stimpaks, only restore one of your legs for speed. It's not the fastest you can go, but it's definitely faster than slow.

Your Perception is too low, the mines are only visible at a certain level of perception, based on the type of mine. If you know it's there but it's not visible, you do not have enough Perception to "perceive" that there is a trap there.
