You don't have to kill the Lonesome Drifter to get his weapon. Just recruit him during the quest "talent pool" then pass a barter skill check and he will give it to you
Across from Vickie and Vance casino, you can find the unique revolver ‘Lucky’. Frank Hamer, the Texas Ranger who ended up killing Bonnie and Clyde, had a personal revolver he called ‘Old Lucky’. Google his revolver and photos show a highly ornate and similar weapon to one found in Bison Steve. Very few people seem to have made that connection.
fun fact the drawing on the side of the medical clinic window was a cut hobo language that was supposed to be used to tell you if there was useful loot or there was nothing etc.
Never played this game because a friend told me it was the worst Fallout awhile ago and I took his word, recently checked the reviews and saw it’s almost a perfect score…. Starting the game now
It’s glitchy. But it is the best Fallout rpg. You can be so many things. Three is the one that turned me on to Fallout. 4 is a great shooter but not a great RPG.
Considering how buggy the game is and how often it crashes, and it is still regarded as the best Fallout and one of the best RPGs ever, that really speaks to how good it is (and, tragically, how good _it could have been_ if the dev team had more time).
He clearly hates you and doesn't want you to play fun video games. It's a lot of fun though jokes aside. The dlc is a lot of fun too especially owb and Sierra madre one. Maybe the best, though fo3 has a great story imo. Fun fleshed out quests and side quests. Getting a perk every level is nice too
Thank you for sharing this video. I just started playing New Vegas on Game Pass. I had Fallout 3 for the 360, but got frustrated with it and never went back to it. I decided to give this game a shot and so far Im enjoying it.

I tried playing this when I was younger after F3 but felt overwhelmed by the earlier game decisions/factions, and also trying to go through Deathclaw Valley. Also wasn't sure if the supernatural perk was needed or just made things harder, I ended up quitting about the time I found The Legion. But I've heard so many good things about the game that I'm gonna try it again
Here's a tip on how to sell items for 100% of what they're worth. Do the two quests for Sunny Smiles and save the Goodsprings resident getting attacked by three geckos which will bring your reputation up to accepted. Once you get accepted reputation go to Chet's store and steal something in front of him. Doing this twice gets your reputation to "mixed" and Chet will attack you. Once Chet starts shooting you leave the store and go to Easy Pete's house. (Easy Pete's house is directly in front of Chet's store and has two beds in it.) Once you escape Chet's wrath go to sleep for a week. The next time you visit Chet's store he gives you a discount on goods and your weapons sell for what they're worth. Chet has little money at first but the more you level up the more caps Chet has.
Make sure to take confirmed batchelor, the repair guy at Mohave outpost can be flirted with if your a guy and won't charge you for repairs. Also his repair skill tracks up with yours but slightly higher. Also do my kind of town in primm. Gamble there after a week and get banned, when you cash your chips back in they stay in you inventory. You can cash then in as many times as you want.
I’ve played this game a ton since it came out and it is one of the only games I’ve ever played I never get sick of and even now I hear about things I did not know. I love fallout but new Vegas just captured me like no other game ever has
Nearly every unique weapon that is being used by a non-hostile npc can be taken. You just need to reverse pickpocket them. This means you give them a better weapon. Wait a few days. The unique weapon will be on their inventory. This can actually be used to yield multiple of the unique weapons. Little busters cram opener can be received 2 times and the mysterious magnum can be received 2 times for example.
Good tip on the VanGraffs steal. I haven’t played this game since the release; in fact I missed 3/4 dlc because after beating the game, I never got back into the game. I’m replaying it after all of these years.
Always gamble on the slot machines that are lit up and i have noticed better luck on the ones that are rolling, and heck just save the game prior to playing the slots in case you don't win
I tried fallout 3 first and got frustrated, I tried new Vegas and I’m having a blast! I don’t know exactly what changed but I’m so glad something did because I’ve always wanted to try these games.

(6:07) Vikkie and Vance died in such a pointless way tho. They weren't as violent as Bonnie and Klide, but they were just as underhanded. They died while in the middle of a shoot out that they didn't even start. Police on one side, some random bank robbers on the other, and Vikkie Vance caught in the middle. Thats a sad way to go...
Knew all these, but you forgot to mention why the Mysterious Magnum does that - because it's the gun of the Mysterious Stranger who appears during VATS randomly accompanied by this noise (if you have the perk)
Bonnie and Clyde's car and clothes they were killed in are actually on display in one of the casinos in Primm Valley IRL. Also, Primm Valley is a good cheap alternative to Vegas.
I just plugged back in my ps3 slim, loaded up & restarted this game. It’s an unparalleled experience… 10min in & I don’t think I wanna play Fallout 4 ever again. Im trying a Survival run there but it’s not even that fun
@@RedRabbitEntertainment you can find a shovel next to the second water pump in goodsprings. Or you can pay for one at a few vendors.. I think the point he was getting at is that you don't need to actually have it equipped to dig graves. As long as it is in your inventory you can still dig. :)
Why do you pick up individual items to steal at Silver Rush when you can take a Stealth Boy and steal the whole lot? You can be caught if you stand right next to a guard. But do a savegame for safety and just keep a distance of a couple of yards and you can clean out their entire stock. I normally leave my companions outside, load up inside until I'm encumbered, stagger outside and give the loot to my companions, then head homewards. Selling it back to them immediately isn't profitable because most of their display gear is in poor condition. Instead, I get ED-E to repair it all then sell it back to them in mint condition for maximum caps. This is especially useful if you're going to destroy Silver Rush in order to join the Brotherhood. The customer with the bomb destroys all the display gear except for the stuff on the one shelf. It would be a shame to let all the gear go to waste and the Van Graffs won't miss it because they'll all be dead anyway. So steal the gear first, then take the security job guarding the doorway, then let the bomber do his thing. Win-win. For everybody except the Van Graffs, that is.
I sometimes run a script turning semi-auto weapons into full auto weapons. Then I turn god mode on, pick fast shot trait, and add All American with thousand Steadies through console command. Full auto All American with unlimited ammo and perfect accuracy. Caesar says there are few things more satisfying than killing your enemies yourself. This is definitely one of those things.
Take confirmed batchelor, the outpost repair guy is gay and can be flirted with and will give you gree repairs, you just need enough caps to do the repair. Also the vikki and vance casino chips are bugged i think, if you get banned and you cash on your chips they dont leave your inventory so you can cash them in over and over again. Hope this helps anyone. I dont know if patches have made these impossible now but i was on a 360 that had never been online or had updates for games.

Explore & get to know the wasteland & how to use weapons & stuff. Once you’ve got it down it will click, then you can start doing quests from your pip boy :)
@@SM-bf9ul yeah i ended up playing on ps3, pc and my xbox one lol. as clunky as the game is i lvoe it. My laptop is so potato but somehow managed to run some mods !! For optimizing and adding new guns lol. I cant believe my laptop from 2008 could run it. That was back before i became homeless but i hope to eventually get it back
