This series really rewards re-watching again after you finish. There are SO many little hints and subtle pointers to later events strewn throughout the episodes.
5:01 That's a food item you regularly find in the game. Everyone one of them made over 200 years ago and still preserved from whatever the factory put in them.
The broken water chip was a callback to Fallout One, that is why you leave the vault in that game, to find a new one. The gulpers guts come out because the anchor The Ghoul was using was stuck in it and Maximus pulled out when saving Thadeus.
Idk if you heard the line from the ghoul when he puts the leash on Lucy to walk away from the river but he says the golden rule of the wasteland is, " Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every damn time." That made me laugh so hard because it's so true in the game. Always getting distracted by side quests
Norm's exchange with the council about doing to the captured raiders what they would have done to the residents of Vault 33 is an application the Golden Rule, but on the negative side. It juxtapositions nicely with Lucy's positive take . . .
Steph (eye-patch girl) was the only one of the Vault-Dwellers that picked up an actual gun in the Raider fight. So yeah, she probably would be down for some murder. (Edit: pronouns)
@Scyth0r yes, after watching the entire season, the fact that Norm & Steph ( & a few others...) seem to be the only ones with common sense is very interesting in retrospect
Hey Mr J, what are your cats' names? I may have missed their introductions from before.. I've seen gulpers in the Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC, but they looked a tad different.
Was wondering if you would check in 😅. Not finished but close. Currently at the part where Jake gets kidnapped and Roland is following his trail with Oy in the city.
Trying to find time to watch shows, edit them, and read. While working and raising a kid 😬. Some days I can read 100 pages. Others I get through 4 pages haha
How can you not figure out basic details that are in front of you. How do you figure it was his acting debut in a movie?? I am talking about the first scene of your review.
