Megaton, Diamond City and Filly are what we call shanty towns. Filly is not a reference to Philadelphia, but landfill. What better place to put a shanty town? A distance away from where the bombs fell, with plenty of materials to build from. But of course, the brotherhood had to mess up that too. I hope Season 2 have a character in the background dressed in Vera's outfit... If asked about it, "a courier gave it to me". Some will get the ref.

The "goat-devil" skull belonged to a Deathclaw. I think Maximus found the answer to Wilzig's question to Lucy, about 'will you still want the same things, once you have become another animal altogether?' No, Max doesn't want the same things.
@testfire3000
@testfire3000 19 дней назад
Spectacular series! The town of Filly is new to the Fallout universe. That "bomb-town"" from Fallout 3 you are thinking about is Megaton which had a similar look but was located in the outskirts of Washington D.C. So it was on the opposite side of the US on the east coast, while Filly is somewhere in the vicinity of Los Angeles on the west coast, about 2600 miles apart.

Now this was a good reaction video. I was surprised how much you knew from the game because most people that watch this don’t know anything. So well done. See you in the next season. GG

So New Vegas was hinted at even earlier in the show a couple times. But the most key hint was in the meeting in this episode with all the heads of the corportations of which each is a hint from different fallout games. The new vegas hint in this one was The CEO of "Rob-Co" (who rob called rob but was actually the company) The person was "Mr. House" the person who owns/runs new vegas. We will get to see what new vegas is like after the final moments of the games story. Super exciting. Also the skull you see at the end is a famous monster from fallout, a "Death Claw" basically a mutated iguana.

Ironically, New Vegas was kind of made by some of the actual "original" developers. The first two games were made by Interplay/Black Isle (BI was a studio created within Interplay) before Interplay went under and ultimately sold the IP to Bethesda (there was a whole soap opera of drama in that). Some of the devs who left Black Isle formed Obsidian Entertainment and later on they got a chance to make Fallout: New Vegas.
@HIPsteHeero
@HIPsteHeero 19 дней назад
It is still funny to me as well, with what you said reminding me of how there's some people who think that Bethesda hates the original games, and especially New Vegas, but then when it comes to the TV show, it is SO much more like the original games and then even New Vegas, that I feel like it kind of shows the opposite. But that's just how I feel about it, lol

@@HIPsteHeero Yeah, I think there's some hurt feelings on the business side of each studio (Obsidian got a little screwed on the rating-based bonus), but the creatives in each seem to enjoy the other's work.

One of the best Finale i ever seen in a TV show. I could watch it so manny times and it would not get boring, it was epic with so manny answers that even the players dindn't knew before and with so much love for the games with insane details. The devil-goat skull belongs to a Deathclaw, you can meet one very early in Fallout 4. Btw the code for the cold fusion was the release date from Fallout 1, it released on 10.10.97😄 Imagine in Fallout 5 we see Norm getting outside the Pod and we have him as a side character in the game. There are so manny Potentialities for new Fallout games and the future after this show❤

Maximus will always be "an errand boy", cause real "Gods" of BoS are already there, only weren't shown. Similar thing with "Vault Tec and importace of Bud, Hank and Betty" compared to The Enclave (where Barb likely belongs to). And similar with most what it seems as "such" from this season, because it only SEEMS.. Truth is: nothing adds up, characters are "unreliable narrators" due to their own goals, agenda or bias. They lie directly or by omission, or just lack real info and/or knowledge..

No, the show is just way too long for them to watch, even if I love the show myself, and am one of the people that loves the whole thing, not just the first five seasons. It is just also a risk that with everyone mentioning that, that they'll lose way too many viewers after season 5, and they don't want to only commit to a small part of the show if they were to do it. So, it just doesn't really work to do Supernatural.

It seems to me Maximus is built into a villain. The first step was to wish that something bad would happen to his friend so that he would become a squire. 2. His desire is to hurt the people who hurt him. 3. He watches someone die and doesn't help. 4. Attempts at good deeds often go wrong. 5. He is a liar and lies again and again for his own benefit. 6. He loves power and feels unworthy without his suit. 7. Almost without hesitation, he wants to kill his squire, even though he didn't even say clearly that he would betray him. 8. He is willing to extinguish an entire community for his energy core. The only reason he doesn't is Lucy. And Lucy first had to persuade him not to do it. Even when she explains to him the consequences if he keeps the core, he says no. Only when Luzy says that her father wouldn't want that does he give the core back for her love and not because he has a guilty conscience. 9. The only good influence Maximus had is Lucy and the two are now separated again and he gets power in a toxic environment with bad influence. 10. He is not particularly clever and easily manipulated, easily influenced. 11. Maximus has now found out that his home was destroyed by this corporation, Lucy's father. Lucy didn't have a chance to talk to him anymore and all Maximus knows is that Lucy and her dad are both gone. So he can assume that Lucy has chosen her father's side. I often see borrowings from "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" Western. Lucy is the Good Maximus is the Bad Ghul is the Ugly. Even if it looks like Cooper's wife is evil so far, I don't believe that. If you paid attention, she looked at an elevated position to a person standing in the dark at the beginning of the meeting. I think this person is the big bad and Cooper's wife is just saying what she's supposed to do on his behalf. I think Cooper's wife learned relatively early where the company wanted to go with its plans and that it was inevitable. So she plays along because, as she said herself, she would do anything to protect her family. At no point did she say that she wanted to change the world and she was very anxious in the conversation with Cooper.

So, I can kind of see what you're saying, however here's how I see some of these points you raise: 1. We've all wished bad things upon other people, the difference and biggest thing is that we don't do something with it, and neither did he 2. We've all wanted revenge, so that isn't entirely unreasoanble, and we see that it's not the main thing on his mind either. 3. Someone who keeps curses him out and telling him how he's going to have him hanged by his nuts or whatever and that he's going to die, oh he's going to die, he's going to die... Not really weird that you then after that constnatly from an asshole coward, then decide to just let him die, lol. The due kind of asked for it. 4. I think this goes more into the comedy part of the show, but also connects into my counterpoint to the next thing: 5. I think this goes into how his character is made with the idea of his Intelligence and Charisma stats being VERY low in a way when we start out especially. I mean, he's not even realyl a good liar, it just so happens that he gets lucky with his actual lies initially. 6. Because he remembers one of the lowest and scariest moments in his life, along with the BOS making it a thing to breakd own their recruits and troops as much as possible, so they're as obedient as possible. Of course power and getting the suit he desires and looks up to, would be something he loves. But we also see him loving luxury, relaxing, kindness, and so on. 7. Which I do admit was one of his most unreasoanble and reckless things, however, I do keep in mind as well that the guy is one of his bullies and Maximus knows that if he's found out, he'll get killed, and still remmbers how that won't be very pleasant. He freaks out and doesn't want to take any chances. But I will admit again taht this is probably one of the biggest things leading into what you're tryiing to say. 8. Again, his Intelligence is very low, if you pay attention, I'm personally of the opinion he initially doesn't even realize it until Lucy points it out, especialyl how shortly they'll have with backup power. After all, it doesn't take a lot of persuasion from her to have him give it up. Again, he's raised by the Brotherhood of Steel. They teach you to not feel any emotion, that no one else beyond the Brotherhood matters. That doesn't just disappear. 9. Yes, this I agree with and goes into what I've been saying. I don't think he is really a villain, or to become one, but more so his circumstances. But it could go either way, it depends how much time will pass. However, Lucy's influence won't just disappear either. After all, he did try to stop Dane from letting him take the credit, it's just that he didn't get much of a chance to do so, lol. 10. Definitely, like I said, low Intelligence and Charisma score. But I also think we see that influence has a lasting effect on him, so that's why I think Lucy will especially. Someone that treated him well, showed him a better way, a kinder way. 11. No, I highly doubt this personally. The last thing he saw was Hank pretty much about to force Lucy to come with him, so the most reasonable thing for him to assume is that Hank took her. If anything, he might feel like he has to save her, like a knight in shining armor, lol. I mean, you do have a good point there to be fair, but I don't really think they'll do something as black and white as that to be honest. But I could be wrong of course. Very likely, yeah, about Cooper's wife. However, I do also thin kthere's a chance that the power of the company did actually get to her as well. That it's a combination of the two things. The way she suggested everything and then said about the bomb, there wasn't even taht much blinking, or hesitation. That doesn't seem like someoen that feels cornered and forced to do so, you know? Anyway, I just wanted to share my thoughts since you raised some good points that I just personally see a bit differently, but I hope you realize I'm not saying you're wrong AT ALL and that it's just me sharing my thoughts back.

@@HIPsteHeero We are all the sum of our experiences. You make individual cases out of it and sometimes take us as an example that this does not make us bad people. That's nonsense, sorry. Your arguments are not really arguments, but excuses. I say that in the sum of the points, Maximus fulfills pretty much everything that makes a villain ark in Hollywood. Does that mean he will become one? No, of course not necessarily, but probably.
