Tim Cain published a video about him going to the premiere of this show and he said that Graham (the guy in this video) specifically asked for him and spent a lot of time talking to him, so even if he misspoke here (or genuinely didnt know who made the first games) at least now he definitely knows because he talked with the creator of Fallout.
I would love to see the characters they have developed continue in season 2 and make a 16 hour movie but if not, if all the writers and directors stay the same whatever they do is in good hands. Season one is amazing. Loved it.
its invevitable. there are already idiot fans who are outraged and against the show and it hasn't even been released. we need to start learning how to tune those kinds of negative people out and just enjoy the things we enjoy
They are man child. Sure the products can be not up to their standards, but their critics are too vulgar and negative. Truth is, the products are not that bad either. It does not deserve that much of passion and hatred. But They acting like the company invade their house and kill their dog. Bashing a average corporate products is really worth their time and energy?
I would just not watch it if they did what they do with most video games movies or shows. Most of them just vaguely use some of the names or elements from the stories and throw everything else out and just slap some huge stars on camera talking about stuff totally unrelated to the stories.
1:53 did he just made up that story? Bethesda (Arena/Daggerfall) had nothing to do with Fallout 1. It was Interplay. Noone would have described it as "X Com game from the guys from Arena"
Its called misremembering something that happened to you 27 years ago. Everytime we remember things theres a chance of literally rewriting that memory and the older it gets the worse that becomes. Im sure someone said it was like arena and xcom together to him.
He said it was described like that and that got him hooked. He also said that it's not accurate to what the game really is. He probably knows it's not bethesda's game. Also he might just confuse several events into one. It was 27 years ago after all.
"Express no preference?" and he jumped out when she mentioned New Vegas when she had to clarify its not that she thinks its best? Damn, Bethesda got them scared if they talk good about new vegas? lol
I mean 1, 2 and 3 all have a canon ending. Its new Vegas and 4 that do not have one. I would say yes man and having the railroad, minutemen and BOS coexist would be the "canon" endings as I feel they are the best. It very well could be the house and Institute ending too though. Just Giving slight nods I guess for them would be the safest option for the tv show. Just don't pull an elder scrolls and make all the endings canon because "magic"..
@sw-gs It's not been fully confirmed yet, but Califprnia has provided the show a 25 million dollar tax credit to film season 2 there. So it sounds like Season 2 is at very least being explored, but is also likely greenlit
Oh Christ please not the Enclave. I love them to bits but I just know if they do show up the Objective Criticism(tm) crowd'll come out of the wood work to complain how Fallout's 'suddenly' woke because it made the US government the bad guys
@Vocu Amazon did, these show runners and the production companies involved did not. All Amazon really have to do with these shows is providing funding. And their only real mistake was providing funding to the wrong people to make Rings of Power
I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume, for some reason, his old college roommate lied to him back then, but it'd be a strange thing to make up, especially since Interplay was a bigger deal than Bethesda in 1997.
The hype I gained and immediately lost hearing that. First, he says he was a fan since 1997 which gives me hope that he may be very passionate and knowledgeable of Fallout, then in the next sentence he reveals that he thinks Fallout 1 was made by Bethesda, which would be an honest misunderstanding today, but not back in 1997.
@@axiomcomplex5579 Most people don't really care for the developer names back then like we do now. Especially back then, think about it. When a new game came out , you'd skip past the Dev logo appearing in the intro and go straight to playing. People still say Interplay made Fallout 1/2, when it was Black Isle Studios themselves that were the devs, they were the RPG Development branch of Interplay.
@@MrBoxenHis story specifically says he was recommended the game based on what dev supposedly made it. A dev that, back in 1997, would not have been confused for having made/owned Fallout.
Garbage TV show written into the ground even more by woke, boring "writers" undoing canon and selling out a franchise loved by actual gamers. The franchise is dead and they keep parading it around like some bloated corpse.
tHe FrAnChIsE iS dEaD come on dude don't be ridiculous. don't embarrass yourself. Everyone fucking loves it. it has an 8.7 on IMDB. All the games have increased in playerbase. The franchise has been resurrected. There is nothing woke in the show. literally nothing about canon has been undone. That was all pure paranoia and misunderstanding.
@@BlackScisir Yea, no. And by resurrected you mean people that will only play Betehsda's f*cking bs, and not the Black Isles games. The fact people like you trust Corporate Paid sites should scare people. Not once did it cross your mind that Review sites are paid to give glowing reviews and demand you not use CRITCIAL Thinking at all.
@@MLPDethDealr32 Who in 2024 gonna play f*cking relict 2,5d games made over 15 years ago just because some religious fanatics thinks that it's one and only 'true' Fallout, whatever the f**k that means? And of course, Review sites are dirty, every single one of them apparently, just because you said so. Just don't try to think why those sites couldn't boost user rating of another Amazon adaptations like Lord Of the Rings and The Wheel of Time. Don't use your CRITICAL Thinking.
I must have missed the "woke part". Having one nonbinary-looking person around in the tiniest of roles (oh and mind the fact that they are JUST there, not even the most indirect of mentions about any "gender issues" ever, it's just part of the world)? I can't judge the accuracy with respect to the game. Although I have seen my wife play many of the Fallout series, but I have never played any video games myself, so I have no clue. But it was a hell of an entertaining ride.
@@BlackScisir yes, because you suddenly get to speak for others right??? EVERYONE LOVES IT!! Yes, if you happen to be in access media, and your job relies on not critsizing something. Which games? Fallouts made by Bethesda. How many have gone back to Fallout 1 and 2 and realized Bethesda cant write worth sh*t??? So according to you, we cant call them out and want another studio to give us a better written Product? I get to watch people like you and Bethesda r*pe the franchise more by removing the RPG elements further in the " next" game.
If they could do a cut back of Nate and Coop fighting alongside Liberty Prime and some tie ins to Appalachia as well I think I might faint over the homagery
