Isn’t it amazing how far nail polishes have come? Ten years ago it was all creams and a shimmer here and there. Today it’s the kitchen sink in a bottle!! Just too many beautiful polishes to choose from.
@cp4184 I think the opposite. 10 years ago China Glaze had some very cool glitters and Halloween collections. Orly used to do interesting finished too. It's recently that polishes have got increasingly boring.
I love all of these!!! I think you were thinking of Creative Chaos from Rogue to compare to Fright This Way 12:24 ( this was my favorite this release!)
I agree with you on "I Put a Spell on You" ZOMG...gorgeous teal... and yes, I'd agree that is teal, one of my favorite colors! Rogue Lacquer is quickly becoming a favorite of mine!
I just got into rogue after getting their polish from August PPU which was similar in style to the first ones you showed. They are so stunning. I think spellbinding thrills is my favorite. Flakies and shimmers are my current obsessions. I definitely want to pick up some more rogue polishes in time.
I’m sitting on my porch in 80degree weather and just can’t get into the Fall/Halloween vibe. These are gorgeous though. I’ll come back and watch again later. There’s a couple that caught my eye! Thanks Caitlin. I hope you’re having a better day today and have a great weekend!
I just ordered the Halloween advent calander I’m so excited to finally experience Rogue Lacquer. I also picked up "I’ll cry if I want to" because you totally sold me on that back when you switched it 🤩. I cannot wait for my order. 😊
oooh I was wondering if you'd have any idea how Rogue Lacquer's Ghoulish Greetings compares with Polishes For Days' I Had Wings Once? 💙✨💚 they both look so similar!!
I would say they aren't very close. The PFD is darker and the flakes are more dense but the Rogue is more of a cream base. The shade of purple is also very different.
My favorite by far would have to Ghoulish Greetings! Its beautiful and I love the color contrast in it! The other ones are a little to busy for me, but at least there are options for everyone! Thanks Caitlin!
You've convinced me to get Fright this Way! That one really is stunning. Btw would you ever consider doing a favorite quick dry top coats video? My BKL one isn't gonna last forever and I need a replacement haha. I know your favorite is Cuticula but I always hesitate bc it's a little pricier.
I could do a video like that but it would be super short. I truly love Cuticula Limitless and as a close second (but still not as good) is the Glisten and Glow top coat.
I wouldn’t say they’re very close in overall appearance. This one is more of a crelly and the base is much lighter. The PFD has a slightly easier-to-work with formula.
I love the first quad, nothing against the flakie bombs but I can never resist a crelly/jelly with flakes. Are my old lady eyes finally failing me or does Spellbinding Thrills have blue flakes? Overall Rogue question for everyone: how are their top coats? I can’t figure out the difference between the cactus water and desert sun.
I think the flakes are iridescent which makes them look blue. They have a blue tint for sure. I've never tried their top coats so someone else can hopefully help with that!
They’re both very similar, they have about the same gloss factor but sun helps with color fade etc. I just like to have multiple options because not all work for all people :)
@@rachelwraith1774 Thank you, that’s very helpful! I’ll give both a try, see which one I like best. I’m was beyond happy to see that I can get your polishes from Nailland now, excellent news for us Europe folks. I hope to see all future releases in stock there as well, your polishes are always stunning and unique.
It’s when you apply a coat of a plain jelly polish then a coat of the glittery polish and then the jelly polish again so it sandwiches the glitter and gives a pond effect
@@CaitlinSwatches That sounds abolutely glorious! Just wish I had access to more jellies here in Europe. Creme polishes dominate the market soooo hard. 😔
