He knows that if he can beat Soviets the Allies will give in, losing France doesn't cost him much compared to knocking out Soviets.

And it’s a content thing too. Every HOI4 game I’ve ever watched I love the battles on the eastern front and I really think it’s kinda the deterring factor of the war and how good you are as a player, it’s impressive when you encircle dozens of divisions whereas you can’t really fight that kinda fight against the allies in France

It is hard to pull off those kinds of maneuvers in the east while having a force with tanks and everything, capable of beating the allies in the west. In some of these games the soviets get most of their tanks encircled, freeing up the axis' tanks to go push out dday, and by the time the axis' tanks get back to the eastern front, the soviets have replaced all of the tanks they lost.

@@Michaelonyoutub well tank divisions are replaceable but half of the infantary in a couple of days is not makeable and when lines are too thin you can do nothing

well if you want to go for naval germany you can do it as your navy in the start isn't that bad compared to italy who has just allot of crap ships who will take damage in battle but no real battlefleet

@@aussiemilitant4486 in the last stream, bo was playing japan and had, as he does quite regulary, beat the US navy. he proceeded to help the european axis with defending d-day because italy promised hed be able to beat the uk navy, if bo damages it enough. little did bo know, while he did heavily damage the uk's navy, italy was in fact, not able to beat it, due to most of italys ships being little more than tons and tons of steel with a single gun on them

I used it and Kapitulated the whole western front in like 3 months but almost lost to the soviets

i used them to paradrop into the UK and then sent Rommel and his Motorized and Armored corps which capped the UK in almost an instant

its good as germany when you wanna invade the UK but dont care about the navy

@@shadowaker6260 but it’s the absurdity of the size that makes it comical. 100 divisions vs 8, and the 100 gets ‘overrun’
