The boxes actually form a pizza shop and a ice cream shop. There is plastic in the back to form the counter "glass". Ur supposed to leave the little counter attached, take out the big counter, fold it and attach the plastic piece. Slide it back in to create the shop on each set. Its actually really cute, i kept mine as a display n filled it back with empty containers n extras. I know u hate reading the white paper directions but it shows how to assemble it, n yes that is part of the item count.
Former hairdresser from Germany here - regarding the smell of the resin: I learned its best if strong chemicals do smell strong so you don’t like to smell them too much. For example: if haircolor has a lot of perfume mixed into it you would get much closer while mixing which is not good. Bad smells sometimes are good to make you stay away from them while using them.
rocky road ice cream usually has mini marshmallows and nuts. Depending on the brand, there may also be chocolate chunks or peanut butter ribbons in it too.
$20 US is the price of two diner balls and you definetly get more than two balls worth of things in each kit. I think it's worth it, especially if you set up the box properly to create the resturant.
Have we considered that they add extra chemical sent to specifically deter young grains from eating the resin since it is made to resemble food & someone may try it anyways? Make it as unappealing smelling as possible 🤷🏼♀️
I think you could have basically made the plastic strip invisible by just placing it where you were going to put the droopy cheese anyway. That way, the cheese would have 'held up' the pizza slice!
The spots on the rocky road ice cream can either be nuts, marshmallows or both. It's pretty good ice cream. Enjoy watching you, Jackie every week! Amanda
Watching you got me into making resin art!! I had never tried it before. And now I am trying to do frozen moments too. I made Christmas decorations and earrings for people. It is so much fun. I wish these kits were better to really get young people more interested and invested.
I loved the ice cream set, like the pizza set but it seemed lacking as compared to the ice cream. But I still liked both sets just wish the pizza had a few more things. Lol I remember u making the crepes, I was scared to make it when I got it but mine set amazing!! I also put a lot more resin in mine n made sure it was visible from the edges maybe that was the diff. I still liked how u wound up rolling urs so I had to do 1 like theirs n 1 like urs. Both looked adorable.
Imagine the ice cream came with marshmallows and nuts and the pizza came with mushrooms pepper pineapple and an actual dark red sauce cause wtf was that clear red kinda useless 😂 or a second cheese sauce cause the crust is already painted red literally all you needed was the cheese sauce because the red didn’t even show
@@tarynriver I agree. I'd Def love to see more pizza toppings even a shredded cheese blend would be nice. I'm only assuming they made the sauces lighter so the crust could be seen slightly. I did a thin layer on one of mine n u can see the crust underneath some but personally I'd like it as a darker sauce so it's more realistic looking. I still love these tiny things but I'm hoping they listen to their customers feedback too n make some improvements. But the pizza shop was Def lacking n misleading from the pics for sure n not near as many things as the ice cream shop!
14:55 these cookies are popular here in Germany around christmas. We call them Schachbrettkekse (checkerboard cookies) but there are also some other names for these cookies
Happy Friday, Jackie! It’s marshmallows in the Rocky Road ice cream! The pizza turned out really cool despite them skimping on the number of items they gave you! I mean, why not include mushrooms & peppers??
I absolutely LOVE your frozen moments!!! The kit is SO shady, especially when they only count the items in containers as 1 item in their individual 5 surprise balls. So to count each individual thing as an item is super shady... I guess we should be thankful they didn't count each sprinkle, seasoning, and chocolate chips individually LOL!! LOVE YOU!!!
She miscounted because she didn't read the instructions to know the entire box turns into a decorative display counter. This was HER mistake not Miniverse.
@Renge43 in Australia it varies, but me and my sister like to make it with Turkish delight chocolates, marshmallows, chopped up digestives, and pistachios
i just got two balls of the diner series ($11 aud each) and honestly, i really like them! The newer ones look like theyve started cheaping out which is such a shame.
These are cute, suprised they are marketing resin for kids (as they say for kids 8 and up) but these look like fun projects, better then many crafty projects marketed towards kids.
Love this review! And I'm sorry, but I laughed so hard when you missed putting the rocky road ice cream in the bucket! "YOU SAW NOTHING!" That was absolutely hysterical. And then the strawberry one too, HAHA! Those sound effects just added to it! I love these sets, but I haven't used any of the resin. I'm a fan of nothing being permanent, so I tend to use the ice cream scoops, fruit, etc. the way they are and put them in mini bowls or on plates for temporary scenes, then I put them away. If I really want syrup or something, I'll probably Photoshop it in LOL. How dare that pizza not include all the items on the box! Yeah, that is absolutely false advertising. Your frozen moments are amazing! Thanks for sharing!
If you have never had rocky rd, you should definitely try it, assuming you're not allergic to any of the things in it. Chocolate ice cream with walnuts and marshmallows. One of my favorites. My other 3 being mint chocolate chip, coffee, and vanilla.
Listen, I LOVE vanilla! It's my favorite flavor of ice cream, cake, coffee.... just because, if you get a good vanilla, there's NO END to the toppings that you can put on it! Vanilla is like the blank canvas of the food world.
❤ I adore your creativity when you get to do those frozen moments. You've helped inspire my own lately also, instead of focusing so much on my depression that's been peaked lately because of family loss I have focused my attention on building a miniature log cabin for my daughter that I intend to figure out a way to make lift up when I'm finished. 😁your amazing Jackie and always been one of my fav RU-vidrs 🐲🐉
I got one of the mini verse Christmas ones the gingerbread house and yes the resin was sparse but i managed to finish it. I glued the packaging to the stand and made it part of the display it’s so cute
0:50 I love when you say “In Da Trash” it is awesome. I love your content. I found a miniverse ball at Walmart, but did not get it. I hope I get the chance to try it out one day. Anytime I see them, I think of you.
You could put resin in 3 of the ice cream scoops in the ice cream container to stick them all together, 1 put ice cream scoop in the ice cream scoop and stick it’s then somehow make it look like your scooping the ice cream 🤷♀️ maybe not though lol! Xxx
Rocky Road ice cream has nuts (usually peanuts) and marshmallow pieces, with i think threading of chocolate sauce throughout... still waiting to find a store-made dairy-free version, but i make a dairy-free version at home; second-favorite to my childhood camping favorite: Tiger-tail (orange ice-cream with licorice sauce threaded throughout 😋)
I’ve never seen Rocky Road with peanuts before! 😮 I’ve always eaten it since I was a little grain with almonds in it. I wonder if it’s a regional thing? I’m definitely going to google this now 😂
@@Coastally oh, maybe i was mis-recalling! likely almonds then, but i usually only had peanuts at home so that's what i used - likely just my brain mashing them together! ☺ have used nut butter instead of nut pieces before too...oh, and chipits!!
A pizza without tomato sauce and only cheese is called a "white pizza." A "waffle bowl" is just what it sounds like..A bowl made out of waffle batter. It's not the same as the batter they use to make traditional ice cream cones, it's thicker. And "Rocky Road" ice cream is chocolate w/ marshmallows.
Honestly, if you are a parent and looking at these, its just this kit. Kids can get SO creative with these under adult supervision. Yes, this had false advertising on the 3rd pizza but i wouldn’t really buy these kits, but the capsules and all u can eat ect ect are really good!❤
The company featured in the video is not mini brands, its an entirely different brand called "make it miniverse". Not criticizing you at all, just wanted to let you know they're entirely different brands!
Rocky Road is one of my favorite ice creams. I love the chocolate, marshmallows and almonds in Rocky Road. They should have added slices of pizza and plates.
I want $1 miniverse blind bags that just come with two random items (ingredient, serving dish, or utensil) and no resin. That way you could collect a bunch of random ingredients and make your own creations. Miniverse would probably make a ton of money off of it, as you would have to purchase multiple bags to try and make specific recipes. I usually just keep the ingredients separate and use the resin for other projects anways so I know that I would spend a crazy amount of money on those, probably even more than the balls (I usually only buy like 2 in each series). It would also get younger kids on board whose parents aren't comfortable with them using resin.
Love how you made the frozen moments! I looked at a popular online shopping site and found this disclaimer "What is seen on packaging may differ from what is inside." And the reviews mostly reflected this also. They shouldn't put items on the box that aren't in there. 😡 The ice cream social had better reviews.
Hey Jackie !!!! 💗💗💗 Was just watching your videos until you posted!!! It was only an hour ago so I decided to watch this video. I Have a recommendation toy for you to do. You should probably try the Miniverse Drink Sets!!! Their basically machines that can actually function and give you drinks.
Glad I didn’t get one of these thanks for the review! I did the same thing with the floating pizza slice but I glued the spatula to the floating slice and had the cheese drips hiding the plastic I used to hold the pizza up
I feel like I'd much rather collect ingredients from the smaller kits and make my own stuff. I collected all of the Christmas kits and was able to use a lot of the ingredients out of the hot cocoa kit, for the gingerbread house. My gingerbread house is SICK! It came out SO cute! And I was still able to use the hot cocoa kit to make a hot cocoa, and a peppermint mocha type drink. Even with the small amount of resin they put into the hot cocoa kit.
I just want them to sell $1 blind bags where you get two random items (not necessarily coordinating) and saving the resin for the balls. I would much rather collect a bunch of tiny ingredients and use my own resin. (I also like using the ingredients with slime, as you can get the DIY aspect that you would traditionally get with the resin but have it be reusable to mess around and make different things).
