You’ll be pleased to know that there will be a FALSEHOOD PART 2 🎉🎉 The script is currently in progress, and plans are being made. Looking forward to this one! 👍🏾
The whole scene with his parents when he gets home from school completely threw me offf big time lmaoooo 😂😂😂 I had to pause it to comment “But Father i still have money left over from the £50 u gave me yesterday” thats brazyy if there were actually ppl pretending to be road like that in skl these time they are living like a prince at yard
That scene threw me off 😂😂. I been watching y'all UK videos but I only been hearing the London accent. Some people over there actually talk like that or was he over exaggerating? Swore that was a stereotype Lol
@@TheThotWhisperer I've lived in Jamaican and both the north and the south of England and I've never heard a Black person who talks like that, even ones with financial wealth. I don't think that Black British people have lost their African/Carribean culture to the extent that they'd sound like that guy in that scene. His sisters accent is the most realistic for a posh Black person. I think the casting was off, they should have cast the racially ambiguous guy as the one that's lost from street culture but he looks more Asian or Arab so the accent should have had more asian influences while he's at home. Or even more realistic they should have got a white guy to play the part with that accent and no trace of any sort of African heritage diaspora lingo. After all a lot of street culture in england, especially the lingo is created by African- Carribean/American languages like the Black Jamaican language and AAVE etc.
Who ever thought of this film is smart and was needed, this film shows how people living in good homes shouldn't be hanging around with the wrong people tryna be like them and forcing the lifestyle big up this film word
Foreal, Hes one of the funniest ppl I follow😂😂 & coz im Ugandan I can relate to all the bullshit with his 'Dad' lool its 100% even the accent.. Now that I think of it hes actually a good actor from his own videos so its only right he started doing some roles tbh. Big up to him 💯
It would be more tragic if Aaron turned roadman. We all expect Stefan to wild out but, he might be too traumatized and leave the streets alone. Aaron throwing everything away to avenge Jaime would be a surprise
@@Lastnameabdiit’s never THAT deep but it’s true there people who come from good homes with both parents who jump on the roads and act like they come from nothing.
@@DatActiveGuy its not about good homes or even both parents broski u man got it all muddled up. Its about living in poverty and broken homes . Them man there that family are breaded and try hop on road are pure neeks and should get robbed
I was impressed by a lot of this film. The only parts I questioned were the scenes in the house, where Dylan was putting on the “posh” role. I think they could have lightened that up a little, and made him jus seem more like a normal young middle/upper class lad in society, as opposed to being so over the top. Apart from that - Great Short and loved the soundtrack.
@@moeglos Nope, I think that the way they communicated was just over the top. This was a comment about the acting itself. Personally, I've never seen someone speak like this, so I think they should have made the character more accurate - I never mentioned anything about it being either of those things, so shame on you.
I’m the writer and director of Falsehood and I want to say a big thank you to the cast and crew who worked really hard to get this film out before Christmas. Thank you also to everyone who watches this film. Your support means everything! I really hope you all enjoy the film and the concept behind it.
Looking at his parents who seem like they are in thier early 40s it would make no sense a black youth would be speaking in 1940s upper class white Oxford english to his relatively young parents
Nah pretend, just when it actually is worth it, for example when a bear charges you, you gotta stand ur ground and pretend ur stronger than him and im ranting shit again yeah i need money too
Not even Carlton banks spoke in 1950s British white upper class language, he was more posh in the earlier episodes but refers to his dad as big guy or dad this guy speaking in Charles dickens talk
Maybe because no London black family in 2022 speak in this way let alone upper class white families. Speaking in 1950s English referring to his dad as father is an over exaggeration
It’s bad enough people from ends claiming they ‘HAVE’ to be on road. Now you’re getting middle class yutes from random villages getting influenced and thinking they’re about that life too
I like this film it raises awareness on problems people who grew up very differently face there definitely is a sense of guilt and insecurity growing up with everything and really wanting to fit in 💯
“Youth these days are still acting like they can speak to Anyone... especially adults “ ... but was so not expecting this movie to be this way ... good job
Aye bruh I’m from Cali and let me say this, the whole thing was dope especially when he changed before he got into his house 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️💯💯💯 keep it up gang yafeemee
Powerful film.💯❤️ In my country🇮🇳 the underground Hip-hop culture is rising and now taking over the commercial scene. And coz of this people who are not from the street life are pretending to be that, to fit in. You can sympathise but not empathise.
I am still not sure why his friends were so pressed cause he chose them and clearly appreciated them. The way I see he would have been a good pal to have
because he could be himself doing well in school rather than pretend to show as a roadman working class wishing to be like them when he has privillage they would kill to have. The fact that he did it makes him take the road life as a joke which they found very insulting
Yeah over the top and over exaggerating with the 1950s white upper class British accents….his parents are young late 30s themselves as if they would be speaking in Oxford 50s London accent like they are Charles and camilla.
That was my first response. I think the director/writer missed a lot of marks. Especially, the kids having a big fancy car, but were taking bus in other scenes?
@@mattel2247 in response to your observation about the car. It’s actually a cab/Uber/taxi. And if you notice when they come out of the car, two come from the back passenger seats and the other boy comes out of the drivers passenger seat. The driver is not one of the boys.
@@leo_powell ok, but the film was not in correlation to the message. It contradicted a lot for example, how did they manage to get an uber in time to follow them to their home? I get ur message, but the writing needed editing bro.
@@mattel2247 Ubers don’t take that long in london most of the time. Plus cabs are chilling outside of Stratford all the time and that was where they were. Your nitpick doesn’t correlate
@@winnersclub6836 why do ppl think that’s real the main point is he lied and he acts ppl who act gangster the problem is your acting no matter where you are jus be yourself , he wanted to hang with them but thought he couldn’t be himself that’s where he missed up I know ppl in all levels of life jus be yourself
B, this been going on since 20s. Gangsters use to have comic strip and audio stories on radio for kids on John Dillinger, Frank Nitti, Machine G Kelly, Bugsy siegel, etc
If they didn’t make him overdo the posh accent it wud have been perfect. Couldn’t tell if he was joking or not 🤣Sick story tho, best short film I’ve seen
Need a part to ASAP this is good for the youths dem let’s save our little brother and sister in these dark streets you can be a star like this young brother here WE ARE ALL ONE 🤞🏿🤞🏻🤞🏼🤞🏽🤞🏾
