This is a childhood fantasy brought to reality. Famicom Fighters is a Mugen Fullgame created by Kingpepe with the help of Mc Jimmy as the music composer. 8-bit styled Super Smash Bros. if you will. Total blast!
Very much so. In fact, I also immediately deciphered the inside joke whenever Mario taunts, "... You need a doctor? I can help You with that." That one particularly referred to Dr. Mario! 🤣🤣🤣😎
Could easily tell straight away from the css and the transition to the versus screen. Im kinda glad mugen is just a game enginr now rather than the chaotic "everything vsxeverything" mess i know it as
Absolutely loving this! I know it's cheeky to ask for more characters given there's already a great amount and so much effort has been put into the game, but I'd love to see Thomas from Kung Fu and Master Higgins from Adventure Island!
Kid Niki is supposed to be the next character. I personally think Sonic and Sega characters deserve their own MUGEN game. How cool would that be? Like... Chakan... Eric Lecarde from Castlevania... any character that was exclusive to Genesis would be radical. The whole Sonic cast. Dr. Robotnik would be EPIC
I always forget that MUGEN is used to make actual fighting game stuff instead of just throw a bunch of characters from different games in an arena together. XD
It's actually a very well executed fighting game that any fanatic will be able to pick up and play! Typical Street Fighter style inputs. I haven't found a move list yet, but if you can HADOKEN, you can play this!!!
Since the late 2000s, he's been the Final Fantasy choice in the fan game Super Smash Flash 2. He has more move set potential than say, the Warrior, so I think it makes sense.
If Mega Man is shorter than Mario, you'd assume that Simon, Starman, Ryu Hayabusa should be taller, as realistically drawn heroes. Still, the consistency of the look is amazing! Well Played.
This is so cool! I will def try this out in the future. I hope they'll add Sukapon in the future, he is already from a fighting game so he'd fit in like a dream
Perhaps hams have clats on their hats. Who is to say? I deedn't sneef it... och puh... ouck... j'ou moust wawsh de clemens before de sniffin'. 2 inch long hair in teif to floss with the clump on your throat punching bag equals or is greater than another och puh pttt ptttt pttttt cain't spit the hair off toof
I mean, one could certainly try! Plenty of action in the Demake scene. NesMaker is pretty user friendly if you know how to do some basic coding. Of course... it might take ya 6 months. @@dylanzlol7293
@kizerinspirations alright here is the link to the game. Runs on Windows for PC. Recommend an Xbox controller. Plug and play. To customize the input you will have to use the keyboard to navigate MUGEN. Beyond that it is simple. Plug and play. mcjimmy.net/famicomfighters.html
Every mugen website i ever found in the 2000s was always abandoned and had broken links. I eventually gave up in finding an active mugen community and now here i am 17 years later and watching this video. Where the heck do mugen fans congregate?!
@@fredvetter1983fun little story. Around a decade ago I was invited to a college party, and when I entered the apartment there were like 12 dudes and wall-to-wall HD screens with state of the art mugen games being played. I was flabbergasted - At that point I'd been convinced for years that mugen was dead and left behind in the early and mid 2000s. Apparently it's still going strong and I still don't know where mugen fans meet to socialize.
This was actually really awesome! I'm glad it showed up in my recommendations. Looks like it plays like Marvel Vs Capcom or something along those lines. Sadly I am not good at those games, but this is cool
