Our FAMILY OF SIX abandoned the ordinary in search of a SIMPLER LIFE - and look at where we are NOW!
After crossing the Panama Canal (dates should say 2019, not 2018...so sorry for the error) we enter into the massive Pacific Ocean and settle in for a month at sea. In the meantime, we must team up with a buddy boat to determine the intentions of a mysterious fishing boat. Watch as we evade pirates, swim in the sea, and embark on the ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME!

Long time watcher - first time commenter. Renee, this your best video yet! I've truly enjoyed watching your cinematography develop over the years and you've become a master! (you should look into creating a series of instructional videos $$$). I loved the overlay of the gauges. Very cool to see that and the waves and sails. Not seeing my comments so I'm going to say this again and if there's a double entry my apologies. Renee I really have to give you big props on your editing on this video. I loved the sequence with the soft music in the background showing you in the kitchen, Keith working on the engine, and the kids doing various things around the boat. Absolutely fabulous. You're just getting better and better. Showing us the kitty at the end was also fabulous. I think a lot of us would enjoy seeing a lot of the cat. It's just very comical to think of a cat on a boat. That first bird you showed us appeared to be a juvenile Albatross or booby. I hope the kids know to not get too close because it's imperative for a juvenile bird to get as much rest as possible whenever it can. It would be sad for them to scare the bird away and put it at risk. Thanks so much for giving us 26 minutes Renee. Obviously we've missed seeing you guys so having a super long video is definitely appreciated. Blessings to all of you at sailing Zatara!

It's not that as much as without a bright color they wouldn't ever find him.if they were sailing when he fell. Most people not tethered to the boat and they fall off are hard to find.

Having studied physics and science and having owned a number of cats, I can share: remember that cats typically stalk prey just like BIG cats do - low to the ground using natural cover: grasses, reeds, and bushes to their advantage. In addition to this, Zooco would have learned very quickly that by keeping his centre of gravity LOW, by crouching - which is natural art form during stalking - that he can place his paws more confidently on the deck surface. Just watch Keith or your family in big seas move around the deck - they will naturally bend their knees, it has the same effect. Cat anatomical structure is a wonder of engineering. Keep up the good work, love the vids and family affair. It is great to see how your family is bonding, sharing and growing closer over the years. This is how life was meant to be. Wish I had the opportunity do the same with mine. Hope to catch you on the water perhaps....Seems Pateete is a good layover. Predictwind is showing no SOG for two days!? GB.

Cats are endless fun :-) When we moved into this house 4 years ago, our two went crazy because of the masses of rainbow lorikeets that hang around here and come to drink from the birdbath on the deck. They are also enthusiastic bathers. These days the cats are just, like, whatever! It's TV for cats.

I use to be a sailor in the merchant navy, i crossed the panama canal in a panamax bulkcarrier. I reall enjoyed going through the canal, which i thought was a great adventure. I also sailed through the Suez Canal which was whole different experience. I love the show, due to covid i got plenty of time to watch, i think its a great way to bring up your children, they see whats outthere the good and the bad. i will continue to watch you guys. One tip, my father did, he took the gallon milk jugs cleaned them out and filled them with water and froze them, and put them in the freezer, they allowed the freezer to work more easily and if necessary when thawed you had drinking water, but more importantly if a fridge or freezer went out you could use them to keep it cold.

I had to many things going on today and had to wait to watch. Excited, I pulled Zatara up on the smart TV and My world had meaning again! LOL. Great video, so much so I had to watch it again on my iPad with my headphones. Renee, you out did yourself on this introduction. I actually got a little choked up watching the beginning clips. We have been together a long time now and I enjoyed seeing the beginning again. Oh my, how the kids have grown! My only regret, is not doing this with my girls when they were still at home. But alas, I was too busy selling HDD drills and making money. Let me just say Thank You, you make my day when you share your life with others. Love you guys! 🥰🇺🇸🙏
