Family and Group Posing Tips 

My best family pics are the ones I take before everyone is “ready”. Tell them you’re checking focus and exposure and start shooting. Then get them to pose and take a few more. Then keep shooting when they’re “done”. The keepers everyone loves are all the “before” and “after” shots! Love your videos Omar! Helpful stuff! I noticed your photos here have a fair amount of depth of field. I like the look! So many sites make an immutable rule to "make the background CREAMY!" even if you have to buy a $2000 lens to do it! I like photos with more depth. Plus it makes it easier to accommodate groups where not everyone is on the same plane!

Hi ! thank you so much for this video. Following an exhibition of my landscape photography I carried out, one of the visitors asked me to take a picture of his entire family. This is not my cause, I have just discovered your superb video which opens up tracks for me and I thank you for it. I will just have a small question I think to take my Canon 50mm f1,2 and my 135 f2 on a 5D MKIV. What aperture you recommend for this kind of photos the principal is to have the family completely sharp. Thanks for your help
