Family Boating on the Suwannee and Santa Fe River

We went boating on the Suwannee and Santa Fe River over Memorial Day Weekend 2021. We stayed at our camp in Bell, Florida and went boating 3 days in a row. We also took some golf cart rides on the dirt roads near our property. Good family fun making memories together at camp.
We had a cool encounter with deer crossing right in front of us while on the golf cart.

Liked the video. BUT! There are no prairie dogs in Florida. What you saw was a Sherman Fox Squirrel. Awesome and beautiful creature, very reclusive. You were fortunate to see one. hint: put some grits on those eggs. Mo better.

Thank you for watching. There were/are Prairie dogs in this area. One farmer had a big issue with them. They dig under ground and were popping out of holes all over his field. We also see fox squirrels on occasion too. Good tip on the eggs...appreciate you!

We are in the process of purchasing property in Bell near the Suwannee River. How far north can you take your boat and is it clear all the way to the gulf? My boat is about the same size as yours. Thanks

You can run many miles north and all the way to the gulf no problem. You can also turn on the Santa Fe River which is beautiful!! Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate you.

Definitely check out where the Ichetucknee (spelling???) Hits the Santa Fe. Awesome swim area.
