I had a sheltie that ate part of my entire wall in my room as a young child. He chewed a HUGE hole out of the wall, lol. Thanks for bringing us along! Love to see the progress of the yard, and I love seeing Taika!

My shiba puppy also destroyed most of the corners in the house 😅 once I realized she was doing it the bitter apple spray helped prevent her from chewing it a little.

When my two dogs were puppies till about 2 years old they would chew on baseboards like that. And yes we gave them good Buffalo wilderness food, gave them plenty of exercise and attention. But any second we looked away they would do this. They also completely destroy any toy we get them. What helped was I put habanero peppers inside a spray bottle with vinegar, let it sit like that for a couple of days then sprayed it on the baseboards. With that they never did it again

My dog had his paw cracked so I had to soak it twice a day with water and a bit of stain remover, I'm not American but I think the equivalent to what I used is Oxi Clean, after his paw dried I put a tiny sock on it especially when he went outside and it was healed in about a week. This was on advise from my vet btw, so it's not some hippy/amish home brew type of thing 😂 If her paw isn't progressing I'd suggest trying that.

I have a dog that is half husky and I have noticed that her paws are more rough then my golden retrievers paws that I had for 13 years. I ended up getting her balm because I did not understand why they were so rough and assumed it was the ground. I think huskys are just DIFFERENT. They are different level of crazy lol

Avoid spraying directly on your dog.

Utilize a Soap Rub Nobody likes the taste of soap. Yuck! And our dogs are even more sensitive to taste and smell than we are. Materials Mild soap; I like Dr. Bronner’s bar soap because it’s all-natural. Steps Test a bar of mild, unscented soap on a small hidden area of the furniture. Rub the soap on the area your dog chews. Reapply once a week or so. Avoid scented or antibacterial soaps that may irritate your dog’s mouth.
