A new country, new climate, new property, and plenty of new responsibilities. I would say you have done exceptionally well with building your new homestead. Ten days without power and you managed to keep things under control. It's a great lesson about what will make your life easier in case of more power outages. I'm looking forward to getting to know your family better. I was stationed at Mildenhall England when I served in the Air Force 100 years ago. Cold and rainy...almost the whole time I was there but so beautiful...even the ditches along the roads had beautiful wild flowers growing everywhere.
