I'm so frustrated by this because they keep calling it a suspicious death when there's literally a video of a girl pretty much killing her. By beating her to death. And naked!! Who knows what all they actually did to her. So disgusting they are walking around like they got away with it too. Everyone that was in that room on the video needs to answer for their behavior. The US needs to either turn them all over to Mexico or charge them here.
Mexico has been told multiple times to change the words on the warrant. The US does not have the crime femicide. The US and Mexico have a treaty that has a list of crimes they extradite for. If Mexico changes it to homicide then the extradition will happen. However the US does have the option of charging because both the victim and accused are American. But I think they prefer Mexico to try the case. That makes sense tbh. Mexico simply has to change one word on the paperwork and they could have the person arrested and extradited. But I believe the US is just giving them time. If it isn’t done eventually the feds will charge…also, it is likely that once Mexico gets their paperwork together the feds will be charging the other ppl with things such as conspiracy. It’s hard…but it’s a waiting game. I don’t believe anyone has gotten away with anything. Remember there is no statute of limitations on murder.

Not quite how it works. Crime was committed outside of US jurisdiction. US can hand them over to Mexican authorities if Mexican government. Even then some red tape are involved. Also, Mexican prisons are far worse than American prisons. They’ll have no one to visit and they’ll spend life in prison. No chance of parole.
