I had a wine red type of dress that was a little purply and my family complained about how witchy it was. Thank god for my mom, we both fell in love with the color. Dark quince dresses are my favorite.
Lol don’t they know historically Witch has been the term used for a powerful woman who scares society? Only difference now is they can’t burn or drown us anymore without consequence so it sounds to me like a great way to step into womanhood
Well if you are having a Catholic mass sometimes the Father won’t let you wear a black dress. It’s not typical. Usually frowned upon. Just saying no malice
Nah bro because my family were telling me that my navy blue quince dress was a bad color and little did they know everyone from my rancho was talking about how pretty the color was🤭I was so proud of myself for proving them so wrong about my dress color
@@Leprechaun22 I believe it is like a sweet 16 but it is for when they turn 15. I didn’t have a sweet 16 and that’s okay cause I’m the end I wouldn’t have been able to have one anyway cause I ended up getting Covid.
I can’t wait for my daughter’s quince. It’s years away but I can’t wait to hype her up in any color/style she chooses! One of the best things about being a parent is getting to watch your baby express themselves!
It’s gorgeous! I got a black ball gown for prom last year and so many people talked crap, but hey I looked good and you look good so keep doing you hunny ❤
@@aaliyahharmaniiare you a Black Latina? I wouldn't if it's not culturally significant to you. There are Black (other races do it too) "coming of age" parties like Sweet 16. It's similar to a Quince.
