My childhood was like this. My brother was the eldest and went through a tough time hence he turned abusive. My sister was the golden child and was sent to private school and did really well. And I was the youngest and had learning difficulties. I always wanted to pursue art and it didn’t go very far as they made all the decisions in my life eventually I failed. And that was the end of my chapter.

So, listen to what I'm gonna say, Man. Out there in the world, there are tons of people who are unhappy & dissatisfied w/ their lives, & I strongly believe that the reason why that is is b/c they've allowed other people to dictate their behaviors & lives -- telling them what they can/can't &/or should/shouldn't do, that they've become far too concerned about what other people will think. But I'm telling you this, & this is the 24K truth. You shouldn't have to, & why?? B/c your life & your own personal happiness is YOUR business, nobody else's. You need to be a """Why Not??" Person", as opposed to a ""Why??" Person". And here's the big-time difference between them: ""Why??" People" are generally those types of people are who always asking themselves the basic questions: "Why am I doing this??" & "Why am I doing that??" It's basically b/c they're afraid -- afraid of life & making decisions, b/c they fear the extenuating consequences that may befall upon them. For ex., like "I might get into trouble", or "I might get hurt", or even worst case scenario, "I might die!!!" As for ""Why Not??" People", they're the kinds of people are like: "Hey, the hell w/ it!!! My lifetime's far, far, FAR too short & precious to be wasting it the hell away worrying about what anybody else thinks!!! I'm gonna step up to the table right now & roll the dice!!! I'm gonna take action & live for the moment RIGHT NOW!!!" It's just like this Tibetan wall-hanging I have, w/ this inscription on it: "It's better to live 1 day as a tiger, than 1000 years as a sheep." And here's what it's referring to, Man. It's talking about something that nobody can ever give you, or teach you, or even take away from you. It's something that we all have, & we all just need to step up & claim it as our own, b/c it's in both the heart & the mind. I'm talking about: "COURAGE"!!! It's more than just about being brave in potentially dangerous situations. It's also about STANDING UP FOR WHAT YOU KNOW IS THE RIGHT THING, &, most of all, YOU BEING YOURSELF NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE THINKS OF YOU!!! For you wanting to be happy & successful, it's NEVER easy b/c they're EMOTIONS, which can ONLY be found from WITHIN YOU!!! And the only way you'll be able to find them, is by PUTTING IN THE WORK!!! And the 1st thing you need to do, is brush off those idiots' pessimism, look straight in the mirror, & tell yourself these 3 little words w/ sheer & utter conviction: "YES, I CAN!!!!" I know that life's NEVER easy, but if you think about it, that's actually a GOOD thing. And wanna know why?? B/c if life was totally easy, then what would we have to work for?? And what would we have to learn from it?? And the fact that life doesn't always work in our favor, that it doesn't always go the way we want it, well, sometimes, that can be a GOOD thing as well, b/c, sometimes, it can bring about something even BETTER than what we've expected. Trust me, Man. I wouldn't be telling you this if I didn't have faith in you. I want you to have a happy & successful life. I completely see the pain that Drew has, and I'm so glad that Holly came along; I've went very similar issues growing up and even now as an adult. The only I will say is that I wish Drew was still tough enough to at least try to build friendships/ and relationships outside of his family. The older I got, I started focusing just more on me and I started building friends and even developing relationships with their families. That is what got me through to this day. Drew just has to pretty much love his family from a distance, be brave, share his art, find some true friends, etc. Easier said than done, but that's what he needs to do. Can't be a punk in this situation!

As an artist myself, many people think that art is a waste of time but others disagree, I’m happy he found his way and accomplished his dreams. I’m happy he shared his art to the world and got famous. And also as an anime watcher, that zenitsu drawing is actually quite good but the anime posters in his room are beautiful.

This story was amazing. It brought me lots of joy and support from my past experiences. I’ve been finding hard to heal from people’s harmful comments to me just to tear me apart. Great story, parents should never prevent their children from following their dreams nor compare them to the older siblings. Comparing them just makes them feel like a failure and invisible coming from how they put all his attention on Drew’s older brother. And you never need to be afraid to stand up for yourself or others regardless of what people will think. Both Drew and Holly got their dreams achieved.

20:05 - Actually, Drew was right, the sentence is in fact ˝I wont let you talk to Holly and me like that˝ because if you remove holly the sentence becomes ˝i wont let you talk to ME like that˝ if you go by what the supposed older and smarter brother says the sentence would become ˝I wont let you talk to I like that˝ and that makes no grammatical sense. In the case of ´Holly and I´ the sentence would have to be ˝Holly and I wont let you talk to us like that˝ If you're ever confused when to use ´and I´ vs ˝and me´always remove the other person out of the sentence, but I'm surprised the script writers would make a mistake like that for a character that's quote unquote ˝Harvard educated˝ hm, weird.
