There are videos on youtube that show this parade and exactly what it is. It's a performance, 25 minutes long, from start to finish. Non-Stop jumping, dancing, running, it has to be EXHAUSTING.... And in 90 plus Degree weather? Wearing a furry suit.. Occasionally the performers would interact with the kids, but not often, the parade has to keep moving. What I saw in other family vacation trip videos at Sesame Place, is they have meet and greets set up throughout the park at different locations, different times. This is where kids can interact with the different characters, hugs and pictures. But to be bypassed, at the end of the parade, that is when this happened, when the only thing these performers are probably thinking is "GET ME OUT OF THIS SUIT", "Get Me Some WATER!!!!" I'm sorry, but this does not cry racism to me. Hundreds of kids were bypassed..
I also reviewed another video of the parade, from a couple weeks earlier. One of the costumed characters that the family is accusinng or racism - was hand slapping with hispanic kids, and oriental kids, along with all the other kids. There are also very talented black dancers (not in costume) in the show. Racism? No - GREEDism.
Watch the videos , it shoes the character interacting with the a white kid a white lady denaing the 2 black girls and hugging some another with one. The parade has to keep moving but only with the black children?? It was obviously a racism incident, I hope the family win.

So, in the future, any cartoon characters waving at kids on the sidelines have to acknowledge each and every child without exception, or, be sued for millions of dollars? This is just ludicrous. In those costumes, you have no peripheral vision. You also have to keep up with the parade. So, you don't have time to shake each and every kids hand as you move along. The lawyers know this, but they are seeking a ridiculous amount in hopes of settling out of court with a non-disclosure agreement for much, much less. If I were the defense, I would solicit those in attendance for videos of white kids being passed by. There were probably hundreds.

I agree. I would assume they would have to prove the INTENTION of bias. That the children were PURPOSELY passed over, not the APPEARANCE or PERCEPTION of bias. This park will be closed next year.Its a parade fast. The people in suits have no vision with Little eyes to see out of many kids get passed up there is a meet and greet area . Ime tired of parents thinking there kids are so me first and don't get there way. For a 25 minute parade that it should be 3 hrs or more to greet everyone. 90 degree heat 200 in the suit . There's Labor laws for the workers to keep them form dieing on the job. They don't care about workers. My family members worked there they quit why not the park the rude mom's and dad's and the fighting from me first parents 🤣 .These parents will always kill a good thing .How they find workers to put up with the parents is amazing. This is getting ridiculous. The Park apologized, offered for them to come back, and made a statement that it's dealing with all of it's staff and retraining all members. This is For Money and Attention and always has been. Kids Should be in a better Household honestly. Not with a Family that will use them for money.

I’ll just go to Disney land or great America or others and feel discriminated upon and have my feelings hurt, then again I’m white and an adult , so the odds of getting $ from either source (lottery or lawsuit) are about the same. I’ve had my feelings hurt quite a bit, even by my parents, but I’m not going to sue. I just keep myself busy. Have they ever put a costume on? Felt how hot it is in there? The need to keep up with the group in the parade? To have to hug and wave to 1,000s of people, oh I’m sure there were tons of people “ignored”. Not to mention the limited view they have. Those costumed people have a very tough job. To portray the puppets all while sweating and smiling. Should the person in the green costume be disciplined? Yes. The video “shows” him or her “snubbing” at “someone” or “more”.
What they did was horrible but 25 million over something those kids probably would have forgotten about is ridiculous. You can tell all they want is money. They don’t care about that girls feelings.
I felt sorry for those two little girls the disappointed looks on their faces when that Rosita character seemingly snubbed them.
