FAMILY GUY - BRIAN DIED: Teacher and Coach Reaction 

I remember back in 2013 when people on the internet went crazy as shit because of Brian dying. Vinny was a great dog for the family.

Brian died for 3 episodes. The one he died in, then he missed a whole thanksgiving episode with Vinny replacing Brian in the intro And came back on Christmas all in 2013

Seth Macfarlane made this episode to tell people to not take someone for granted, because they could be gone before you know it, so you should appreciate every moment you have with someone. and tbh, i like that reason. we should all appreciate the moments we have with friends and family, so when they go, we have stories to tell others. :)

😭 I remember when this episode first aired. The backlash and demand for Brian to return was SO heavy, that they pulled a Deux ex Machina to bring him back, and it hit even harder due to my own dog getting hit by a car…and I blamed myself for so long…but at least she survived, but it was touch and go for a few weeks, but she pulled through, and she’s still going strong today! But…yeah..the internet *EXPLODED* when Brian died, and I think a few death threats were even sent, demanding he brought back…and it’s one of the few episodes where Peter is actually genuine about his emotions

Interesting thing was they completely killed him off and the internet protested it and than got him to come back.

I remember watching this episode when it first aired. I was shocked on how the show killed off Brian and almost cried when he said his final words. Of course he was brought back, but his death still took everyone by surprise. I don't think the driver that ran over Brian was ever found. Damnit.

This was one of the most controversial things Family Guy has ever done.

Yes, Brian really did die. He was gone for a while because they felt like shaking things up a bit. He does eventually come back.

I always liked Vinnie, he's a cool mafia character the show would have had fun enjoying.

This was a heartbreaking episode.. screw the humans when they die..

I think Brian's death is the shortest one in animation history. Maybe even Television history. I can't recall a character only being gone for 2 episodes. I don't count the one he died in because he was actually in a good chunk of that. The only one shorter is if you count a character like Kenny from South Park but, it was always a running gag that he would die and come back. Brian was supposedly gone for good and it only lasted a short amount of time.

This was pretty much when classic FG died too.
