I love that his hallucinations are almost NOTHING like a real bad-trip on mushrooms, but are also pretty accurate at depicting the fear, confusion, guilt and paranoia of a real bad-trip. Idk why but the way Peter says “did you try the chicken, buddy?” In a weirdly hostile tone is super accurate.

I tried a bag of Amanita Muscaria, unaware of what horrendous hallucinations they gave, while also foolishly trying Blue Lotus tea. I was stuck in a hallucination where multiple people were all stuck in a dream and they all continuously woke up, but the dream wouldn't end until the first person woke up. So it was just nonstop flashing images repeating over and over in my head. My mom found me yelling and flopping around on the bed and took me to the hospital.

Yea it really does depicts the fear and paranoia. when I took mushrooms I felt trap, overwhelmed, stress and stuck. Until a buddy of mine experience in this type of stuff saw and knew what was going on and directed me on what to do, after that it was smooth sailing

@@4am446 My friends are good people, however they are not exactly the most “responsible” one. And I’m the nicest and most responsible person they know that would willingly help them be their trip sitter that also doesn’t do drugs. The funniest incident was when one of my friends though he was Poseidon when twirling a fork in his underwear and another where they ran outside naked. In -20 C weather. But generally the worst thing I have to deal with is vomit and if I’m unlucky pee and poo. At least they pay me reasonably. And they love my ramen when they “sober” up.

Prob did them in the wrong surrounding or had worries about something or other beforehand. Trick is stay somewhere comfortable as possible, tell everyone you are not at home so you have no suprise visitors and just ride the wave, even if it seems like there is something scary about to happen just allow it to happen, don't worry. The real trick is staying grounded while off your but for up to 12 hours. Try Amanita Muscaria prepared properly. It's totally different from Psilocybin but WOW. Be careful and don't get your 🍄 wrong.

Shrooms my ass, he did Datura. The only shroom accurate part is the "am I dying?!" Part. When you take enough, you feel poisoned. But it eventually fades away and you begin to trip hard. And shrooms wont teleport you from your house to hell, that's a Datura trip.

I felt like dying in shrooms. I took to much before I can't feel it. I ate a whole eighth a little at a time and couldn't feel nothing till I got sick and felt like I was dying. I was throwing up and had diarrhea lost about 15 lbs

He confided in me for the next several days that he thought he was Jesus, and had to speak to the people. He was okay, but he was in a weird world for several days, and I was worried about him. I grew up a Christian, and was really weirded out when he felt that he was a Jesus.

A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. @@one-day-at-a-time4134 yeah for sure not for everybody i dont even know if i like them at all yet, but you have no idea how much you value your senses until your alone in a room and they're ripped away and distorted beyond belief so dont take them until you are mentally equipt but i gotta say try to take them once in your life when you're ready cause it can be equally as magical and terrifying at times just depends on the set and how you feel before going in.

Dude I finally managed to make it all the way through this. The first time I watched it it disturbed me so seriously that I was like I mean I I really really could not watch this clip. I'm very sensitive and the animators did an intensely accurate job of effectively conveying basically everything that could possibly be truly totally bad lol. For me watching this the first time was extremely emotionally disturbing. So I'm happy to say that I made it through this s*** finally after years of avoiding it and I think I could probably watch it a couple more times if I needed to.

Did you associate it with a past trip or something? I remember having something similar with the song Lucy in The Sky with Diamonds because my friend sent it to me to listen to while I was on LSD. It gave me bad vibes and acted as a pre-cursor to a traumatically bad trip.

While on magic mushrooms, when you force yourself to sleep (you cant so dont try) or just try to force yourself to not acknowledge the effects, you get the opposite of the desired effects. It could be as bad as seeing hell and Brian went there. That's why it's done in a calm environment while meditating, sometimes with people you trust :) it honestly isn't a party drug, more like a healing agent to all our stresses.

@@thecatsbackyard4833 i think tripping outside is pretty nice but if you’re planning on tripping at night then i recommend doing it inside. that way you’ll have access to food, entertainment or whatever you’re in the mood for. always have someone you can call if things start to go bad. if you really can’t handle your trip anymore and you want it to be over, you should take a xanax and sleep it off. also eating things and drinking lots of water helps. try not to watch anything dark or things that will trigger a bad trip.

I think most people miss the point of this even those who have done shrooms. This is actually a very accurate representation of a trip. It shows what your mind is going through on a high dose. For example let's say your demons and problems you face in your life, on the trip the shrooms bring it out, you will have to face whatever you have been running from and it's your choice to either embrace what's coming or fight it (bad trip feelings of dying etc etc) . Shrooms shouldn't be taken so lightly it's not like weed or cocaine . Shrooms can actually help you face whatever demons you have in your life and conquer them. A trip is basically you vs you in your mind. It's not for everyone. There are those who trip for silly visuals which is cool but it's just meh... OR you trip to have a good hard look inside yourself and use it as a springboard to go and do whatever you have been procrastinating on in your life.
