The problem with the American stereotype for an Italian is they come from a darker part of US history. Italians were in the Americas from1500-1890s and the Americans didn't really have any specific stereotypes. Then from 1890-1920s the Italians, in particular Sicilians and southern Italians, were the largest migration group and the racism of the day created their modern stereotypes. That's why to an American, the image for an Italian is some rural Sicilian or southern stereotype.

It's actually a show produced in America, but they mostly only pick on the three cultures that find these funny and don't complain about them - the Italians, the Irish, and the Jews.
I am first generation Southern-Italian American from Jersey and I found all of those clips very funny! Why? Because I was born in the 1960s. Never politically correct and never "woke," but always alert and with a sense of humor. The tablet clip was classic!!
