Well, it’s probably because of anti-smoking policy in today’s world and also that this fashion is dying out (especially in the west). So now when a cigarette appears in family guy it’s not just an casual addition for a character like back in the 90’s/00’s, it usually has a joke context or something. (Kinda sad because Brian looked really cool with a ciggie in his hand).
That fact that Peter talks to the models just like how he would with any other woman at the bar even though those models wouldn't respond is hilarious! XD It's like talking to someone on the TV!
