context with the million man march joke was twisted: in the episode, peter was obsessed with chick movies and became a chick, he wasnt blaming black guys, just men in general
This compilation needs to set up the Million Man March scene better. Peter had just come back from sensitivity training for being sexist and came out hating men in general. He’s criticizing all men not realizing what the Million Man March really was. Way funnier in that context.
Good-spirited jokes like these NEED to be around. The problems we're having these days can mostly be boiled down to no one knows how to laugh at themselves anymore. Blazing Saddles was hilarious, just like White Chicks and Undercover Brother
Regarding the rap translation, the song Regulate by Warren G had such a translation years ago and it was internet gold. It was posted on the songs Wikipedia page but was taken down. You can still find it with a search of something like regulate wikipedia meme.
First -- I enjoyed Family Guy for many years. Second -- I've seen people reacting to this for a little while, but I never clicked on any...until I saw YOU were reacting to it. Third -- I LOVED your reaction!! Thank you!
I'm white and LOVE White Castle, lol. The black dolphins were talking about the movie "The Cove". It's their version of "Roots". 😬😬 It's a documentary - "Dolphin trainer Richard O'Barry and filmmaker 'Louie Psihoyos' go about trying to expose one of what they see as the most cruel acts against wild dolphins in the world in Taiji, Japan, where dolphins are routinely corralled, either to be sold alive to aquariums and marine parks, or slaughtered for meat."
Hilarious stuff. But I think the McCain one in Scooby-Doo is a joke because he couldn't lift his arms that high because of the war injuries. Love the channel man
Shows like Family Guy and South Park are both great shows. There is literally NOONE off limits and they literally poke fun at everyone, so it's hard to get mad at it. I personally love the dark humor. I'm a 37 year old white man, I don't have a racist bone in my body. I love ALL people if they're good people. I hate these labels that we use in our daily lives cause we're all human and equals. Some people have a fucked up perspective on things but you simply gotta overlook these idiots lol. @MrLboyd I always love your content bro. Your video reactions always cover a wide variety of things and it keeps things intersting. Personally I see you as a very reasonable and wise man and I always like seeing your take on things. I'm glad that you're also able to maintain a sense of humor in this fucked up world we live in lol. On a side note in a recent video(about Nikacado Avacado) I saw you mention something about your weight gain etc. and I had to go back and view some of your older vids. While it does appear that you have gained some weight I kinda think that you look healthier now than you did say 3 years ago(also noticed the way you talk is a lil different too). lol Anyways best wishes to you buddy. Always enjoy your content and I respect the grind!! It seems like every night I'm getting 3 new video notifications to check out. Take care homie. 💯
Confusing people in other cultures has absolutely nothing to do with racism. It's called "imprinting". It occurs when you are a baby. It affects everyone.
I didn't know your from Long Island also. Oddly enough there's still quit a few white castles out here. My friend from San Diego could t wait to go to one when they came here. Can only get them frozen out there.
I can’t remember if you’ve done the ones of them roasting all the other races and countries, but if you haven’t you should. The one roasting everything American is too accurate 😂
My favorite was the being chased by ghosts. The very first time I saw a picture of KKK members when I was little I actually thought they were wearing ghost costumes
man i like the new outro video, i like when theres fresh angles from the usual, try to incorporate this more, your lighting is amazing alongside your cam, thats your edge over the competition
12:22 this one is so much funnier with the context of peter being a man-hating feminist that episode. So they thought he was being racist when he was actually being sexist
" they make fun of everyone thats why i havent enjoy it" haha yup me to. that's basically the roots of comedy but ppl dont get it anymore or i should say too many feelings get hurt now days... man the fk up ppl life is hard
Getting people confused when they are of the same race isn't racist. You can't help having vision issues or an inability to distinguish people. You're absolutely right that it's an issue of exposure.
*Peter:* “Cleve”, it’s 1955. Please re-enter the clubhouse in a more stereotypically animated fashion. *Cleveland:* “Lawd, almighty, I done seen me a dead body down by the lake! Sho’nuff, I thought I’d gone deef and dumb when I saw me that dead body!” *Peter:* “Cleve”, calm down, you’re not making any sense! *☠️*
Not being a regular viewer from London,I got confused because in that sketch and the one about "the word seeming harsher in Capitals" Cleveland was a Black Guy and yet in the sketch in the woods with the net,I thought they said Cleveland was the White Guy with the net?
I PROMISE you that no gen z is trying to cancel family guy. Remember..WE GREW UP WITH THESE SHOWS TOO!!!! I love family guy, their jokes arent making fun of the people its talking about. They make fun of america and white people. And THATS what makes it funny. Same with American dad. It makes fun of the government.
The schools I went to as a kid were 50% black, and I never understood how some confuse 2 black people who look nothing alike! 😵💫 I never once in my life had that problem. …BUT… I do have that problem with Asian people. And I have a theory that it’s because I grew up around a lot of black people, but not a lot of Asians. There was only ever like 1 or 2 Asians in my entire school. So the only defining features I learned to recognize were the ones that differentiate the Asian race from others, therefor when I look at an Asian person, that’s what my brain sees first and I have to make a conscious effort to see past it. So maybe it’s the same for those who didn’t grow up around a lot of black people? 🤷 I don’t know, I still find it nuts that someone could confuse Cosby and Obama.
if you like this you should checkout the orville its created and stars seth mcfarlin he created family guy but the orville is a spoof of star trek because hes a star trek fan
I don't know if it's still true. But, it used to be that KFC hired a lot of hispanics and Taco Bell would hire mostly black people. They wouldn't let the black people near the fried chicken and they wouldn't let the Mexicans near the tacos. My white friends and I would laugh about that back in the day.
They push it to anything that gets a rise out of people and it's funny. Be it Jewish, Catholic, or another religion black, white, gay they have no filter. Who can't seriously say it's not funny.
Yeah, The Andy Griffith Show. Mayberry was only diverse in intelligence. You had Gomer and Otis holding down one end, Barney in the middle, and Sheriff Andy at the top. To be fair, though, we never saw Otis sober.
The theory on why the races see other races as all looking alike is that when we are babies we learn to recognize what we see the most as being normal such as white babies being around white parents and Asian babies being around Asian parents,so you’re probably right
I never thought it’s racist to get confused about people. If there’s like ten Scandinavian blonde women of similar height, it’s hard to tell who is who. Same with ten Koreans of similar height and weight and so on.
About confusing actors and other famous people. I think most white people confused Bill Paxton and Bill Pullman (RIP to the one that's dead, I can't remember which) but Obama and Bill Cosby does seem like a different case lol.
Ok I looked it up again. Bill Pullman was president in Independence day and Bill Paxton was in Twister and Aliens where he has the line "Game over man, game over".
12:21 this clip is so much worse out of context. In the episode this is from, Peter offends a female coworker at his first job and is made to attend a women’s empowerment camp and become more understanding of women, he comes back from camp reformed as a feminist fighting against the patriarchy, hence why he was yelling at all of the men at the rally.
They opened a White Castle in a town near me, which is about 85% white, the rest Hispanic. It lasted 6 months. Some stereotypes are true. Whoever thought putting a WC in an affluent northwest suburbs of Chicago was an absolute moron. I laugh at racism because noone gets my race correct. Ever since I grew my hair long people think I'm native American. I'm half Sicilian, half white, but I tell people I'm a non-hispanic Latino and watching people try to figure that out is absolutely hilarious.
Gen z is fine with race humor like this because it mocks racism, not perpetuate it. Gen z might not be into Family Guy in general because its audience is people born in the 70s, 80s, and maybe early 90s. Some don’t like the cutaway gag style in general, which is fine, every generation has their own tastes.
