Dude on the right mentions twice that somebody actually tried to lure him into a van as a kid... that's terrifying and everybody just shrugged it off. One decision away from not being here most likely. Glad you made the right choice.
Family Guy, South Park, and the Simpsons... those shows are truly equitable: everyone gets flamed equally and it's hilarious. Even when they go after a group you belong to, you still have to laugh your ass off cuz they do it brilliantly. That's the magic of these shows. And we need more of this on TV, not less!!!! Lol
It actually was canceled in the early 2000s after Its third season because of low ratings. Three years later it was picked back up, and pretty much never left.
You really can't watch Family Guy and take what they say so literally, and look at it more with a satire and irony lens. Peter telling the waiter he's dead to him because he's gay and how him and Lois will focus all their attention to the hostess now isn't a joke about the waiter being gay. It's using satire to show how ridiculous Peter sounds saying that. That saying that to a complete stranger sounds just as ridiculous as when parents say that to their own gay children. Great reaction btw! Keep it up! 💯
It wasn't before cancel culture, it's still on! It gets a pass mainly because it's animated, like South Park and the Simpsons. They all pretty much do what they want
No such thing as "cancel culture," just people fed up with hate. There's nothing hateful about Family Guy. "Cancel culture" is the right-wing being upset at not being able to racist, homophobic, and so on without consequences.
@@erikjohnson3859 I agree, my comment was because one of the guys asked when this show was on and someone else said it was before cancel culture ( I can't remember who said what lol)
What part of Louisiana are you guys from? I'm in Bastrop, Louisiana.. I watch all you guys stuff. Keep it up! Yall have great attitudes guys.. God bless
@CarterFamily Family Guy first aired on January 31, 1999, right after the Super Bowl, and was canceled twice. The main reason why it happened was due to low ratings; they were placed on different days of the week and competing against popular shows like Friends, Survivor, Fraser, and who wants to be a millionaire (in the early years they were literally trying to get Family Guy to crash and burn); then made a comeback in 2005 and are still on the air today

03:31. It's smart to keep the towels on the roof. You wouldn't want to trip over a crumpled up towel & fall into the bathtub, knocking the hairdryer or radio into the water. Safety first.
When they say they're shocked it didn't get canceled 00:10:23. It did several times lol the fans brought it back and that's why that show openly makes fun of FOX (the station it airs on)
