Narrated stories of Family and Hospice care providers from comments and forum posts of personal experiences of end-of-life transition.
Just before someone dies, there is a phenomenon known as terminal lucidity, in that moments just before death, patients will have a moment of full mental clarity. It is often at this time they may talking about deceased loved ones in the room that have come to take them or reach up and smile to an invisible person as they take their last breaths.

We are slowly winding down the NDEACCOUNTS channel and will be putting our efforts into our new channel ► www.youtube.com/@strangeexperiences We will still be covering NDE's, but it will be more broad to cover other topics about the unexplained in general. D will be doing all the narration of the stories that we come across and that our viewers send us, so we hope that you come along and share your stories as well! See you soon! I've really enjoyed the long journey of this channel since the beginning, but it's time to start a new chapter!

I was sat at my mothers bedside. She was very weak. I was telling her how much I loved her. She suddenly said, “ your father is here.” She was looking over my shoulder. I said, “ what’s dad doing” my mother replied “ he’s just standing there smiling at me” my father died in 1986. My mother passed away peacefully in her sleep the following night. I find comfort knowing that my mother is with Jesus now, and with all of her loved ones. I miss her so much. But I know with Gods grace, I’ll see them all again.

This happened yesterday. My grandmother’s good friend who was at assisted living was celebrating her 96th birthday. The nurse asked how her birthday was as she was reading thru birthday cards. She replied, “ I got the best gift ever today, I found out I will be going to heaven”. She died 30 minutes later on her 96th birthday. Which was yesterday.

I wonder what exactly happened to make her say that at that particular time; had she been talking to someone in person who had reassured her of heaven, or do you think she had just experienced a pre-death vision (for lack of a better term)? Either way, it is a wonderful testimony to the prescience many people experience shortly before death.
@danbarganier324

Based on the setting and circumstances with the nurse who dealt with her day in and day out, it’s believed to be a vision/visitation. I plan on talking with my grandmother in depth about it.

My nephew developed a cancer called neuroblastoma when he was a baby. He was diagnosed at 16 months old. He spent a lot of time in the hospital fighting it, but ultimately the cancer won over. Just 6 weeks before his 3rd birthday, Make A Wish sent him to Orlando to go to Sea World and Disney World. He never returned home. My sister said the day before he passed, he woke up terrified because a strange man wanted to take him away. He said the man seemed very nice and was dressed in all white and seemed to glow. It took a few moments for my sister to realize what was going on. She told him the man is an angel and wanted to carry him to heaven. She told when the man comes again, it is okay to go with him. The next day, my nephew woke up from his nap suddenly. He told her the man was standing in the room. He told her he didn't want to leave her. She told him she would be just fine. It was time for him to go home and she would see him again one day. He hugged her and gave her a kiss like he did before the cancer and then turned to the man only he could see. He smiled and said he was ready then told my sister he loved her and thanked her for loving him. He closed his eyes and drew his last breath. His heart stopped and his body went limp. He still had his hand over her heart as if to tell her he would always be there.

Mom passed away Aug. 4, 2021; she was 95 and suffered from dementia (I'm her son). Her passing has been devastating for me. After she passed, I prayed every night asking God to give me a sign that mom is OK and happy. About 10 days after she passed I had a dream. In my dream a heard one knock and what was clearly mom's voice, calling out my name. Nothing else was said beyond my name. I immediately woke up and realized something amazing: In all my life I have never heard anyone's name (let alone my name) mentioned in any of my dreams. This was a first! I believe my prayer was answered.

I was going into the hospital to get my labor induced. I asked G-d to forgive me for all my sins. I couldn't get the thought outta my mind that I might die. I did just that. My heart stopped beating. I heard myself flat line and heard the doc say, We're losing her! We're losing her! I then felt a mask fitted over my face. I knew I wasn't breathing and that I was dead and it was ok because I had put my hope in Jesus. I began to drift up and past the ceiling into this warm golden light. The next thing I became aware of was that I was being held in two gigantic hands. G-d was holding me. He was looking down at me with so much love. I had never experienced that before. I was so at peace. I felt so loved. I was also still pregnant. I knew I needed to birth this other soul. I remember thinking of my other little girl who needed me. G-d turned his hand over. There really is such a thing as sticky love because I stuck to his hand and he threw me back into my body. It was very jarring. I was slapped into my body. That's what it felt like. It was that jarring sensation that got my heart to beating. I love you Lord. You are my everything. Jesus died for your sins. Isn't that good news. He loves you. All you gotta do is ask him to forgive you and accept him. Shalom Aleichem 🥰

I spent the last 2 weeks of my sisters life with her. She had stage 4 breast cancer. One morning she wanted to go outside and sit on her porch . She was weak and paused on the threshold of the doorway and look out over her backyard for a minute and then slowly sat down. She lit a cigarette and after a long exhale she said, see that field over there?, and pointed. Yes, I said. Well our brother was just there she said , walking back and forth with his hands behind his back and looking downs as if in deep thought . And I know why he’s there. He’s waiting to take me home. She died 3 days later. This brother had died 2 years earlier. I shared the story with my brothers wife at the funeral and she got tears in her eyes. That’s how your brother always walked and prayed when he was preparing a sermon. ( he was a pastor). I know they’re together and I’ll see them again someday.

Fiorella, I’ve witnessed the same things both in med/surg and hospice and it’s the most amazing thing! ❤️ It is true! I never worked ICU, but I responded often when I was on code team. I’ve always been impressed with ICU nurses and their ability to manage and maintain SO many various lines! Every orifice in the body as well as multiple accessed sites have tubes going in or coming out of blood vessels, organs, etc. I always wondered if I’d be able to accurately identify which ones to flush, to aspirate or to medicate! I know y’all have a lot of additional training and certification, but it’s one department I never did pursue. That and L&D. I’m retired now after all my years, but will never forget all the experiences! Take care!

Dear Nancy, they are happy and joyful. They can see you in your deep sorrow, but if you're too deep in the sadness they can't reach you. The next time you're crying, just try to accept your feelings and to remember the Love you shared with them. It's still here and this Love is the key to communicate in feelings with your boys. So they will be able to send you consolation. They also do it through me and through other people that tell you they love you and there fine. Listen to them, cause its the thruth, they were inspired by your boys to talk to you. One day you'll go in the same place and meet them again. But know you still have a mission on Earth . It's believing in Love and spreading Love around you. You're blessed

I am so sorry, Nancy. I remember seeing their picture after it happened; how adorable they are! They are in heaven now, happy and joyful, and even though it seems forever before you will be reunited with them, just know that day will come, and they will still be the same age they were when they died. Sorry if I'm overstepping boundaries by saying that. I know there is no panacea for such a tremendous loss -- nothing can replace your boys here on earth. It is good to know these testimonies offer some hope. By any chance have you read "I'll See You Again?" It's the book by Jackie Hance; she wrote it after her three little girls were killed in that horrific NJ Taconic Parkway accident. I'm guessing you've read it, but I thought I'd mention it just in case.

My dad a few minutes before he died started talking about seeing the cardinals and asked us if we had seen any. He was laying in a rented hospital bed in his own darkened bedroom at home and he had been quiet then for a while. Then suddenly he said, “Oh thank you for bringing the light, it really helps a lot.” Then he raised his arm up and held out his hand like he was taking someone’s hand and he said, “Jesus.” They he expired and passed. That made me pretty emotional. My grandpa is the closest person to me that has passed away. He died while I was deployed in Afghanistan so I couldn’t be there, but my mom kept me up to date with his condition. In his final weeks as his body was shutting down my mom said he would be talking to and reaching for his late siblings and mother. To my mom this was sad because she is not a believer in an afterlife and she wondered why he wasn’t calling out for her and the people there taking care of him. To me I was sad that we were losing him but joyful because I understood what was happening. There is too much evidence that death of the body is not death of the soul. I don’t pretend to have to know the meaning of life or what this is all about, but I do know that our creator is loving, and the other side is home.

My wedding day was so beautiful! I had a horse drawn carriage to my princess theme wedding. I had my all family and friends. OH Dad, I had him to walk me down the beautiful stones to a waterfall where my future husband was standing. I hired three photographers that day. I got my fav picture from my brothers camera. I was smiling as dad was telling me a joke in my ear at our father daughter dance. A song that went with my theme called Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman. That picture is one of my fav's! That song that memory. It was so blissful. Three years Later our son was born Dad was so over the moon that it was a boy. They bonded so much. Dad went to heaven. As I am driving to the wake, I am crying as the rain fell. I asked God please give me a sign anything. Please help me right now. I turned on the radio and the song I danced to with Dad came on! Cinderella began to play right after I prayed. In my cry laughing I felt peace. I was Okay. I got my sign. I know where my Dad is. Jesus is SO real and so Good.

When my mother died I experienced a "visitation" similar to what you describe; however, she was in a memory-care home and I was not there. It was 2:30 a.m. and I was fast asleep; suddenly I woke up to a gentle sensation passing by, followed by a pulse of light. I knew my mother had died and had come into my room to say goodbye. When the nursing home called an hour or so later to tell me of the death, they noted she died at 3 a.m., but I knew when she died - it was half an hour earlier than that.

When my mother passed away, my husband and I flew home to say goodbye. We slept in her room and bed. I closed the bedroom door tightly and went to bed. Later on the light from the hallway was shining in my eyes. I woke up and saw the bedroom door was now open, slightly ajar. I felt it was my mom peeking in as I slept to say good night. There's no other explanation for a door to unlatch itself and open.

I lived at my grandmother's house taking care of her. She was suffering from Alzheimers. I came home from work around 5:30 went to her room and she was surrounded by 3 German Shepards. One was on her bed and 2 in front of her bed. I have no idea where they came from, although she always kept the back door open. They wouldn't let me near her, they growled at me. She sat there petting them and told me everything was OK. She died shortly after that. My grandmother owned 3 German Shepards in her lifetime and they last one died 20 years before her death. That was 2013. 4 years later In 2017 my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer, she was gone within 4 months of being diagnosed and in that time kept telling us she was given a beautiful angel to look over her. During Thanksgiving holiday last year (2020). I and my children went to my daughter Sarah's home, her husband and 2 children. Just after Midnight I was laying in the bed trying to fall asleep, while starring out the bedroom door and I saw what looked like an angel without wings! A human figure radiating Brillant Light very slowly walked passed my bedroom door, it was so bright it lit up the hallway!!! It was amazing and shocking!!! I got up to see where it went and nothing and no one was there, everyone was already asleep! The next morning when I got up my brother Tony called me and told me that my beloved aunt Margaret had passed away lastnight around midnight!!!!! She came to see me one more time before she went home to Heaven, maybe to say Goodbye.

An hour later the memory care/nursing home my mother had been staying called to tell me she'd died at 3 a.m.; I knew, though, that she'd really died a half hour earlier. She apparently had come into my room to say, "goodbye."

My 4 yr. old grandson was dying. He had a trach in his throat all his life so he couldn't talk. He signed some. He motioned to me to come to him. I'm his maternal grandmother. I stayed in the hospital with him from birth to death. I went to him and he was pointing up at the ceiling. I asked if he saw angels. He shook his head no and since he was so weak, he was frustrated I didn't know what he was showing me. Then, it came to me. His grandfather had died 2 yrs. before and they were close. I said, "do you see grand dad?" He shook his head yes. I said, "do you want to go be with grand dad" and he shook his head yes. I said, "You've been a brave little boy and if you want to go be with grand dad, you go ahead. Tell granddad I love him and miss him". He shook his head yes, and I went back to my spot behind his dad. He raised up on his elbow and looked around his dad at me and waved goodbye, laid down, turned over, and crashed. He died moments later. I was comforted to know my late husband was in heaven and was taking our little boy home with him.

She said she went down a bright tunnel, and had the most wonderful estactic feeling. She arrived at a gate and she said her sister and mother were there, they looked much younger than when they died, but she knew it was them. They told her she had to go back, it wasn't time yet, but she didn't want to. They insisted, and she woke up. Uncle told her that her heart stopped beating and the doctors brought her back.

I’ve had 4 ndes... 2 as a child and 2 as adult.. words don’t exist in our life on earth to really take u there...I experienced my soul separate from my body 4 times... there is absolutely no sense of time outside the body.. it’s as if time doesn’t exist or the feeling of being pressured by time.. outside the body is beyond description.. u feel very very very different outside the body but you know who u are but it’s overwhelmingly different.... like the Bible says every tear wiped from our eyes... it’s like all the bad stays in the flesh ... as I hovered above the center front of the building :.. I didn’t look at my body that was choking to death...I focused on my friend on the other side of the building that could not see me easily..I was way on other side of building.. I was outside my body hovering... overwhelmed by it... but extremely calm.. I focused on my friend watching her check out a customer.. and they were talking... then finally something happened and she saw me.. she stopped mid conversation and was looking hard and worried... she yelled girl are you ok!!!!!!! and she turned to run 🏃🏻‍♀️ towards me.. I spoke to God in my head.. thinking not saying .. I said God I guess I’m going to die now.. and at that very moment I slammed back into my body( this is my 4th one I’m talking about all my others are consistent except this one is the only one I felt going back into my body)when I did ..It through my body back.. and the food lodged in my throat came out.. it busted all the blood vessels in my eyes) my friend that had started to run towards me had not even gotten to me yet... when I was feeling better.. at this time though this was my fourth time experiencing this.. I had never spoken of it bf.. that’s another story.. but bc she was my friend and present at the time.. I told her what she did and said while I was outside my body watching her..her jaw dropped.. she looked at me so shocked bc there was really no way for me to see her unless outside my body.. that would be the only time I spoke of my experiences until 8 years ago.. I’m 48 now..Jesus is very real... the afterlife the soul angels Heaven Hell... all real.. repent :means to have a change of heart about God and sin... to turn back to God and away from sin... Jesus is the door.. the Good Shepherd... the Light of the world...The SAVIOR.. redeemer , comforter.. bread of life...Jesus is God.. Jesus said.. before Abraham.. I am.. Jesus is the way the truth and the life NO ONE comes to the father but through him..✝️🙏❤️ 2 Corinthians 12:2-5 2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven.Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know-God knows.3 And I know that this man-whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows- 4 was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell. 5 I will boast about a man like that, but I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses. This is Paul talking about a nde in Bible... some argue this but those that have had a nde know what he’s talking about... 2 Corinthians 5:6-86 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.✝️🙏❤️

My Great Aunt saw deceased relatives and I think her brother saw them as well. But here's an opposite story. I took care of my Great Aunt. Not FT. Just helped w/ groceries, medicine, doctor appointments, driving ms daisy etc. Life was a struggle for her and I was able bodied and had time and I wasn't going to let her struggle through old age. She did eventually die. This is just background info. Sure, she saw deceased family. Anyway, her son came back from overseas after she died. He had a stroke and living in a 3rd world paradise w/ a stroke actually kinda sucks. So I went to check on how he was doing b/c the VA booted him to a hotel. They didn't have room service so he was just ordering pizza all the time. We enter the hotel, he sits on the bed and then I see a brief apparition of his mom in a 1950's dress lean over, kiss him on the forehead and I hear "help him". He's still with us (and a royal pain in the A*). But he's family. And we don't leave behind family. So there ya go. We saw deceased family and no one died.

Had 2 great uncles, both brothers to eachother who passed away close together. (Cancer) One said God spoke to him a little while before he passed, but he couldn’t tell anyone what He said except his best friend. (But he did mention we would soon see things coming on the world that we never thought possible. This was roughly 2016-2017) My other uncle died a year or two after and described seeing a beautiful garden, the beautiful colors and flowers shortly before he passed in his hospital bed. (He wasn’t a gardener, or someone who ever talked about flowers or anything like that) Before them, my great grandfather passed away 99 years old (the dad of the uncles). He had said 2 weeks before he passed that his time was Thursday at 11am. He went into a 2 weeks coma, thursday came and went, but the thursday after that at 10:55am he passed away.

@EndofMusic I’m not sure exactly. But he didn’t want us to worry for him because he said he knew where he was going, but instead he worried for us, because it was told to him things would happen in our lifetime, things that we never knew possible. He stayed fairly vague. But the book of Revelations comes to mind. God had told him things he said, and he was no longer afraid of death.

@EndofMusic Since his passing, we had Covid, countries are divided amongst themselves, we’re on the brink of World War III. And that’s only been a short time. I don’t believe he was lying, he wasn’t the type. And if he was, why keep it to himself? There was a lot of deaths in the family close together, during that time, but it was also the most revealing and spiritual time I can remember at the same time. It was very difficult to deny God was working in some way behind the scenes.

A month after my father in law passed, I was thinking it would great to hear from him and know he was alright. I was starting a new job and was given a new pager. Did not know number, just brought it home and went out for evening. Later that evening, my husband (very skeptical about hearing from those who have passed) brought me my pager and said what is my dad's phone number doing on your pager??? I got a cold shriver and told him your dad is alright! Please keep in mind, we moved all belongings, disconnected phone. Lights, cable etc. Only our Lord can do this....such a peaceful feeling...by the way my husband is a believer. Love the stories thanks for sharing.

My Mom was blind and in a coma. She, minutes before her death, suddenly rose up and with blind eyes looked into the distance and waved as she smiled. She settled back down on her back and, according to my brother who was there.... she died. A month before that, she told me how handsome my father was the first time she saw him. When dad died, they had been married fifty years.

It is an 'end' of sorts, but not in the way humans prefer to classify the definitions. Far more akin to... opening a door, stepping through the portal, and sealing the door behind you. It is such a rare occurrence on Earth that one does this... try this comparison on for size: Remember when you moved out of your previous home/apt... and then, entered your *current* residence? 😎 Must give us pause. 🐲✨🐲✨🐲✨

I knew the moment my cat was 'ready'. She had been sick for a long time, and I wanted her to pass naturally. It was raining like *madness*, and I had actually been recently terribly injured by some sort of stroke/anomaly (no tests revealed anything, but omg, my left shoulder and arm was in AGONY). She laid at the sliding glass door to the outside as I dug her grave in the backyard, near the rose bush. I kept checking on her, and told her that it was OK to 'go beyond'. 😓😊😓 When I'd finished digging, and my shoulder was in SEARING pain, I placed her in a wooden box which I'd crafted long ago with my own hands, in high school (3 types of wood, originally meant to store most anything). I will Jee her again. 😻🐲😻🐲😻🐲😻🐲 Of that, the reader of this message can be certain.

I’ve got to share what just happened with my brother in law Butch. He was 73 rs young & found out he had Cancer. He was in the hospital & was going fast. The last day my sister told him it was okay to go now. She’s not in the best of health either. Everyone held hands with him around his bed. He had been to weak to lift himself for a week now. After telling him it was okay & she would be taken care of, he lifted his arms & upper body & the Biggest Smile came across his face. He was in flight mode. They went to get a bite to eat & got a call shortly after. He had indeed seen the Lord & his dad; he kept talking to his dad before that. They all knew he had left his body when they had all been with him in his room. They were so comforted by what had happened & a child had witnessed the Miracle too. She tells people all about her Grandpa going to Heaven. She says it was a Legitimate Miracle.

When I was 9 years old, I died. I was in a dark place at first, kind of like when you look at the sky with no stars. Complete nothingness, but I could think, see & hear but I could not talk. i also felt my body as if swimming in water, but I was invisible. Then I heard and saw a light and they step out and said “Don’t be afraid its time to go, don’t be afraid..”. I was very very afraid and started thrashing around as I felt like they were pulling me in like a strong beam pulling..At the same time I could “feel” my life behind me as if I was attached by an invisible cord. I fought for my life and I survived and came back. At the same time I was fighting for my life? My late Father was on his knees in a church begging for my life. True story. We have a soul & we live on. Love to everyone, I swear on the Bible, this is my experience ❤️

My dad died at home 3yrs ago of cancer. The morning he died my siblings gathered at the house to say good by to him. They took his body away to the funeral home. We decided to sit on the veranda after my dad’s body left. All of sudden this stray dog was walking across from the house when it stopped and sat down just staring at our house. We never seen that dog before. He just sat on the sidewalk watching our house. We believe the spirit of my dad was on that veranda with us and the dog was able to sense it. The dog sat there for like 10 mins then got up and walked away.

@@rocsanchez8143 Yes, I did. I drowned, falling through ice- I was skating with my friend on a pond that was supposed to be 4 ft deep- she kept jumping branches frozen into the pond. I was in the middle, twirling. All of a sudden, a terrible crack- and that crack came like a freight train at me- I couldn't outrun it, and went through. Turns out, the pond was 20 feet deep- it was a miracle that I lived- but, I was outside of my body as I sank, watching myself drown. It was gross and terrifying- I struggled and then gave up. I saw my friends, my family- and passed by that- to the most beautiful, indescribable light that one could ever see. So bright... but, no pain. Warm, and filled with absolute love. I was drawn towards it- so happy, so peaceful- I didn't miss being alive-I then was "told" that I couldn't stay- I had to go back and do things....
