I love how all the kids pitch in to help with cooking! They will be so self-sufficient when they are out on their own some day. And I think the marriage counseling that your Pastor recommended is a WONDERFUL idea for ALL married or long-term-couple partners! You head off problems BEFORE they start, and it keeps you both mindful of one another. You have a super busy large household, along with filming yourself for social media, and it's easy to set things on the back burner because you don't “have time” for it. But then it starts to simmer - and either boil over or, even worse, the pot runs dry. (My attempt to tie it in with preparing meals! lol) Thank you for all you do. I think you and Marc have an excellent and clearly affectionate marriage! Sour dough starter: I've never done it myself, although I want to! I don't know if you actually throw away the discard -- but I've seen on other channels that some will save it and use it for making pancakes, muffins, etc. Not sure how this works, but I just wanted to let you know in case you were interested in doing something with the discard. Try doing a deep clean on the oven. It may help with the uneven heating. Often, that's the cause. Stuff gets on the elements or gets on the surfaces so it deflects heat in a weird way. Hopefully it helps.

It's great that you're kids eat a large variety of foods (and are willing to try new things) ... some I know only eat chicken fingers and fries, pizza, mac and cheese, etc. All the food looked delicious; I'll have to try your stuffed pepper recipe! 🙏❤

I just started making sourdough. I waited a month to use my starter. Use your sourdough discard to make crackers, pancakes, and ask kinds of stuff. I love making crackers with the discard and everything begal seasoning. Patience is the most important thing with sourdough for sure. ❤

May I suggest you slice the cherry tomatoes in half. They are much easier to pick up and also more dressing gets absorbed. Certainly a safe task for the middle-aged kids.

I found a recipe for stuffed peppers except the peppers were sliced and cooked with the meat mixture. It's a one pot dinner then you can add shredded cheese on top of each serving. It's the same thing except you're not stuffing the peppers plus it says time!!

Keep your sourdough starter out until it’s established. If you put it in the fridge it becomes dormant, let it get going for a couple of weeks first. I used to put 100grams starter and same amount of flour and water daily and took about 2 weeks to get really ready to bake with.

I make almost the same salad dressing the only difference is i use avocado oil instead of canola oil and it is yummy and healthier 🙂

Homemade biscuits are wonderful. Our youbgest daughter makes the biggest best choc chip biscuits and we absolutely FALL on them when they come out of the oven!

Here is a tip I heard actually on a couple diff vlogs. They never use a metal spoon while cooking in a metal pot. The sound that comes across the camera makes the viewers cringe(I must agree) they only now cook with wooden spoons. Everything looked so good btw!❤
