At Christmas time, I make several kinds of cookie dough and make them into balls or a cookie log (to be sliced) and freeze them all. Then I can bake as needed. It is very helpful when I want to gift Christmas cookies and I can bake fresh cookies to give at different times. I don’t always get to see everyone in the same time period since everyone is so busy. This way everyone gets freshly baked goodies.

I’d love to try some of your recipes, but I don’t have Einkorn flour. Can you swap all purpose or bread flour equally or do you use less or more? Thanks

I convert 1 cup regular to 1 1/4 cup einkorn. So you would use less regular flour!

What are the salad dressing ingredient amounts?

About 1 cup olive oil, 1/8 cup apple cider vinegar, and 2-3 squirts of Dijon mustard. And a pinch or two of salt and pepper!

Love the video but you know you aren’t supposed to put anything to do with the sourdough starter down your sink right? When it goes down it will stay in your pipes and become like cement. This is what I was told by the kind lady I got my starter from. Just sharing to spread the word!

I have heard this before but have not had an issue with it yet.. I don’t put much down the sink but there are bits that are stuck on the bowl and can only come off with washing.. is there a better way? Thanks for sharing your insight!

@@TheDuvallHomestead I use baby wipes to wipe everything down or wet paper towels. Or if it’s nice outside I wash it outside with our outdoor hose.
