My husband and I own a 36 foot Solitude and we love it! It is just the two of us, so space really isn't an issue. We are hoping that when we retire in a few years that we can head out and see the country. They are built with such good quality!! Congratulations and enjoy your camper life!
Here a thought for a table. Can you put a hing table on the edge of the island facing the couch. That way when not using it you can fold down.Do stackable stools or chairs.love your camper.you should be proud of yourself.Stay safe have a bless weekend
So glad your daughter is doing so well now. I can’t imagine having a child that sick. I love your camper and you’re right about having the family so much closer together. Sometimes in these huge homes the kids practically live in their bedrooms and their parents really don’t talk to them. This is a bad mistake, in MHO. I’m glad you all are loving your time together on the road. My daughter in law home schools as well and both children are a full year ahead of kids in public school. They are both making A’s and B’s. They just don’t have all the distractions and “class clowns” of public school. Also, they don’t hear a continual diet of disgusting language. I am a retired Special Needs bus driver so believe me I’ve heard words that shouldn’t be in childrens mouths!
If u are still in this rv, and see this, what abt a small swivel table for top bunk, so she can put her feet out over the bunk (hang down) and have the table swivel out, work, then back in?
I remember studies on military kids that moved every year or two, as they grew up they had difficulties maintaining adult relationships and something like 80% ended in divorce. They didn't have long term friendships with frequent interaction in person. I wonder how kids like this that move much more frequently will develop interpersonal relationships. The 14 year old girl would be dating by now, the 8 year old would have his friends, maybe a sports activity to hang with. I just wonder if the parent's joy of travel will end up disrupting the children's opportunity to grow up with their peers, having long term close friends, getting in fights, making up, being friends again..it's a part of life the skills we learn as children. Just curious.
Definitely food-for-thought. With the insane housing prices over the past 4 1/2 years families, more now than ever, are having to figure out alternative ways of being able to afford somewhere to live. Sometimes a large purchase like this motorhome makes more sense than paying $3000 a month in rent for a home made to fit this many people.
Good points. But the 14 year old dating is only because it’s the cultural norm. But doesn’t need to be. Let kids be kids. Plenty of time for her to date when she’s older
I am working 96 hours a week to pay rent and put food on the table. I am missing out on so many things with my children. I would love to be able to do this with my children. I think it is wonderful. They look like a very happy, healthy, well adjusted family.
thanks guys awesome post no I don't think I could go back imagine opening your front door and looking at the same thing day after day nah nature God's medicine
My husband just got a travel job and we bought a travel trailer with a bunk room to be our home away from home. Fortunately we own our house, so we don't have to give up everything to try this out. His first assignment is only 3 hours from home, so we're going to be part time RVers for the next 3 months. I love your kitchen space. I had U-shaped table on my must have list because I knew we would want it for dinner and school.
You homeschool the kids and have them live in it 37 ft space? I'm sure you must be aware that it's very important for kids to have social interaction and Friends their own age. The vast majority of us have friends that we made in school that are lifelong you're denying your kids this opportunity
Can u not add a few fold up chairs to place on the opposite sides of the tables and couches so that u can sit opposite each other. 🤔This way u get the feeling of sitting at a dinning room table . Then dishes can be on the counter acting as a side/serving table.
Great family and great video ! I like everything they have done with this camper! Best use of a small space showing it can be done it just takes the effort but the pay off is worth it! Nicely done
It's pretty funny that they moved out of this RV within a month of this video being uploaded. And now they're getting a divorce and she has a girlfriend now. The poor guy they bought a house and this came out of left field.
That's an RV, this RV, another RV, then a new house, then she moved out and went to Europe with her girlfriend, came back, got another house, and put the kids in public school even after they begged to continue being homeschooled? She's trying to fill a void in her life. In this video, notice how he looks at her lovingly every time. She avoids looking at him. Poor guy.
@@newlywedbeth yep. Completely agree. It just seems like she's uprooting her kids for nothing. I follow her on tiktok and the kids just don't look happy at all. And she doesn't either even if she's in a new relationship. He absolutely loved her you could tell. Just something with her feels off. Like she's never truly happy. I think the kids should decide to live with their dad.
LOL....we live in mobile/home . I have 3 junk draws and I just dump ours out every year. Than I just buy.our needs all over again, nails, thumb tacks, and junk. . I love your home there's nothing I don't like. Family is very far most important. If families would do away with TV or limit time spent watching and do board games is a big plus. Our kids learned adding, subtracting and other things. Your walk through was great. Glad your daughter is doing great. I don't have FB, all I have is message, I was able to watch you on Google or RU-vid. I'm not sure which one. I hope I come across other video's of your family. Safe travel
👍🤔🤗😉this looks more spacious then my current... lol ..... I love the lay out looks like it fits the family perfect!! I realllllly am amazed at allllll the room it seems to have. Looks so spacious and homey n comfy I'm happy for this family!👍👍👍👍😊😊😊
It's my understanding that such luxuries are built on wheel's for camping, traveling and or for renting for vacationing; while also, I do believe that it takes more money and more time to keep the built-inside and built-outside of luxury on such wheel's functioning properly; means, I believe that it's easier and or better to live in housing that has a mailing address and persons don't have to keep doing for putting water in the camper for cooking, washing, bathing and cleaning the camper persons has to also be very very careful about their water usage and about running out of water and or other that's needed and or costy to keep the awesome luxury on wheel's functioning properly.
The problem is, unless you can work remotely, you could never live this lifestyle. 90% of Americans don’t have the ability to work remotely. Post more actual tiny home videos please.
I love the way that you have everything set up. I also noticed all the Norwex products that you have, and I can only imagine how much space that those towels and cloths save you since I recently started purchasing their products as well.
im right there with u guys.... i just wish i did this 10 yrs ago ended up with a 2023 Keystone Raptor 420 i will never buy a house ever again, and when the shit hits the fan... in this crazy world . we are all set .
Well you'll probably never see this, but if u get a bean bag, someone could use that to sit on the floor for movie night and when not in use, put it on the couch or even your bed during mealtimes. Also, I can't tell how much space u have on either end of the island but I'm thinking there's enough room to put folding chairs there so you will all be in more of a circle for mealtimes. Love your home and family, thanks for the share!
One thing which alsways comes to my Mind when i see such Videos is: Do they all live in this Campers/Vans? Or do they still have a House/Apartment etc. and just love to Travel as much as time allows?
I have a question I live in a camper and my cabinets need to be redone I try conditioning them and staining them and it doesn’t work somebody said they’re probably fiber press put a plastic seal do you know how to redo my cabinets with something like this it’s not real wood there’s like some kind of coating on it
Oh, another idea is I've seen tv mounts that will let you pull the tv out from the wall and swivel it to whatever angle would work for everyone to be able to see it :)
