We are a family of 5 living in our RV and traveling the country. Tour our brand new 47ft Heartland Cyclone 4014C toyhauler and see how we renovated it to fit full time RV Living with kids.
Just saw this in the Recommended. I watch a few RV family vids every now and then and I have to thank you for not cramming your kids like sardines into small bunks. You've given them such a respectable space to be kids and spread out. Also the eight cube units for each kid is an awesome idea. You and yours have a great rig setup. Thanks for sharing.
Totally agree. I watch quite a few of these and some have kids in coffin-sized bunks and that is their only "space." I find it depressing. The space for the kids in this one is more than adequate - they can actually MOVE around in it, lol.
"Like sardines" LMFAO 😂 😂. You got me rolling to the floor with laughter there bcos I saw one too where 4 kids were put on a single row of bunk beds. It was pathetic for lack of a more suitable word.
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Sure would be nice if people like you just understood that instead of your judge mental comment. Not everyone can afford a custom made toy hauler.
@@LIBERTY0RDEATH LOL, that RV and truck they need to pull it is more expensive than many houses in this country. Them being hurtin' for money is NOT something you get from this video. Check some videos of those who go into great detain regarding their expenses: most times they're much more expensive than what I pay for my monthly bills in my sticks and bricks home. But thanks for the chuckle.
Go for it...make it happen...do one thing towards it every day and one day you will wake up and it won't be a dream anymore...but a beautiful reality 💪
@@tarighashim3690 If it was your dream, how would you go about it? Like doing one thing that’ll put you towards it? I’m really trying to being this dream to reality and I’m taking notes
@E Claybrook A lot of stars gave to align for this honestly. You need to find a job that has a level of flexibility to allow this lifestyle. An RV like this is a huge investment alone so in addition, savings. You got alot of ground to cover but hey, put your mind to it and things might just work out better than you expect.
Literally so much storage. She seems to have a ton of clothes and girly stuff. Most of the time these large families living in campers and rvs do not have even half of what she does!😊
@iluvmisachanyeah! i was thinking about this. i believe it must have been a recent change, however, as they are referred to with “she/her” pronouns here.
I really like the lay out. The movable bunk bed is genius! Thank you very much for allowing us to see your personal spaces and how you store all of your belongings. I would like to see, how do you plan out your next destination. Is there a route that you all have chosen? Or maybe the family has chosen a destination but makes occasional stops along the way? I love the fun and adventures of a road trip. So thanks again for taking us along 🧡🧡
Is called a Happy Jack system, standard feature on 5th wheel toy haulers but they usually have folding couches on the bottom instead of a second bunk. Some full timers remove the bottom bunk and install moving desks to turn it into a home office.
I like the amount of space this camper/toy hauler allows for the kids. If the kids aren’t using their shower it’s a good idea to fit larger washer in there as you mentioned. Being a family of five having sufficient and efficient laundry is important. If you ever use the chalk board I recommend finding cheap chalk markers. They write smooth like a regular marker and don’t produce chalk dust, since you mention the kids have asthma.
This is the best kid's room!!! Some rv doesnt give kids enough space and privarcy. At first i thought living room and kitchen is not quiet big compare to other RV, but that was the key to give kids enough space!!!
my family and i have lived in our rv for the past 2ish years and i’m so happy to see more people doing this and showing their day-to-day lives while living in a trailer/rv
This is really the only RV set up that I’ve seen that feels like a normal house and gives kids the privacy that they wouldn’t have a normal set up cause they basically have their own space which often doesn’t happen
What an amazing home! The way that you explain it is how the home is really used! Thank you! Plus the whole my bras thing was so nonchalant as nothing happened. Love it😆
I build these coaches I don't recommend cutting a opening in that bunk wall it's aluminum not wood and it could jeopardize the integrity of the loft 👍🏻
My kids sold their tvs and we live in a house. Kids use their devices to watch tv, as do I. We are down to really only using the tv in our living room once a week for the guys to watch football.
Lol! I got the biggest chuckle at how agile you are! I was like that years ago but at my age I am lucky to walk a straight line ! Lol! Enjoy every moment in your RV! We enjoyed ours years ago!
Wow!! Really nice!! I love that it's a toy hauler! (At first I thought it was an RV) I absolutely love the bunk room and lift!! There's SO MUCH space!! Thanks for sharing!! ❤️🚍🚐
Really great RV, you all set it up nicely . What a wonderful idea for the whole family living in it & traveling when wanted. Lucky kids & you parents are giving your children a terrific life. Bless you all.
I really enjoy your videos, your family is so cute♥️we plan on traveling full time when my hubby gets to the airlines as a pilot and I can’t wait! Thank you for all your awesome advice.
Really nice upgrades from your other RV. I really like it. I would say for my purposes I would have kept the laundry in my master bedroom closet. Because your kids may want the private shower especially the older girl who is a pre-teen ( teenager ? ) but that’s my opinion. But definitely nice upgrade as I can see why this RV works better …with the great kitchen layout larger living room couches and kitchen table big difference!
To waste space on a private bathroom you really don’t NEED is a lot of waste space that could be useful, it’s not fun people going out and in through ur bedroom all the time
Awesome narration and explanation of everything! We pick up our 4014c in another 5 weeks so this has been great to give us some early ideas. We'll be using it to haul our RZR Pro SxS given the 14' garage. I did buy the vented washer/dryer combo to put up front given the preconfig already in place. Thanks again for sharing!
Hi Family Of Nomads , wow that is one big beautiful 5th wheel , I wish I had enough money too buy something like this , your like vanna white for showing us around this beauty , have fun camping & living all year round in it !!! 👍😃❤
I'm a new Subscriber...First off I want to say that I love the camper and the layout of it... You are definitely making use of all the space that you have.... Especially the Loft bedroom for your daughter I really like that space...The whole camper to me is just amazinly awesome..... Be safe in your future endeavors and may God keep you and your family free from any harm in your travels..
Nice and congrats on the upgrade. The kids having their own bathroom makes sense. I say keep the shower in the kids bathroom and figure something else out for the laundry. Oh, and the cabinet in your oldest’s space would be perfect for her next pet or a small tv.
@@FamilyofNomads I didn’t say to force them to use the shower. I was thinking about guests (kid’s friends) staying over etc not having to use your main shower. Also thinking about the inconvenience of doing laundry daily in their room as opposed to your space (like your last house) or common space. Either way, GL with the buildout.
@@hft4704 With 5 people to launder for I’d go with the larger washer/dryer. We have a combo that fits in the designated W\D spot & it doesn’t hold much & takes forever. I doubt that they’ll be having many guests taking showers🤔.
That weird dresser with the top that moves open...would be perfect for your valuables!!! Like cash and stuff NOONE would think to look there !!! Love your home !!! And you have a beautiful family and life ❤
That is a beautiful rig! We have a 2021 GD Reflection 312BHTS Travel Trailer and planned on upgrading to the Solitude 3740BH-R but now y’all have us rethinking that for a toy hauler. We are 11 months into full-time!! ~countryside rving
So happy they take care of their kids. So often people living full time on the road just stick there kids on bunk beds on the side even when they have the room to take care of the kids. You guys sacrificed a bit of living room space, but love it.
Such a beautiful home! I love the sofa, big fridge, kitchen the open feel of a house! Addison room is super cool 😎! Awesome video thank you so much for the tour 🤗❤️!
Your kitchen is bigger than some kitchens in a New York City apartment. I wish your family miles of happy adventures, good healthy and safety. Cheers from Arizona ☮️❣️💟❣️✝️
THANK U FOR INVOTING US ALL INTO YOUR HOME AND FAMILY. IT LOOKS LIKE AN AWESOME PLACE AND WAY TO TRAVLE AND LIVE A FUN ADVENTURE FULL LIFESTYLE. CONGRATS! MY WIFE AND I ARE SAVING UP AND HOPE TO JOIN YOU ALL IN THIS ADVENTURE LIFESTYLE WHEN WE RETIRE IN 5 YEARS.
I literally thought it was a container house coz its so spacious...so I went back to the beginning to confirm. Love the bathroom idea in the kids room esp the loft
If I was 30 years younger I would do something like that. I think you have a wonderful home. To have two full bathrooms I don’t know much about campers but I would think that’s a biggie. But again thank you for showing us your home it is just beautiful. When it gets cold you’re gonna have to show us the fireplace. Kathy
You have more space than you realize! Add shelves everywhere use the chair storage for items not used regularly or schoolwork! Love your new rig but organization should be a priority before it becomes overwhelming!!
Thank you SO much!! Im in love with your channel!!!! This is AMAZING! I I wish I could do something like this. I like how you let the kids cooperate in the videos! I have got to say this is one of my favourite youtube channel of all time!! Every day, I'm waiting in agony for your new video to come out! Please keep sharing the positive vibes you give in these videos!!
Loved the organization and the whole place. I assumed that all cabinets are well secured when the rv is in motion...cause you hv a lot of stuff. Hope you can also feature some of your travels and camping. Thanks for sharing🧡
You could make one of those pull out shelves like they make to go between washer and dryer for storage, raise it so you didn’t knock stuff, or better yet put a drop cup thing for drinks on top, reading material, and drawers underneath for stuff. They roll out to get access to bottom shelves. It could be as deep as you wanted.
I just started to see your channel from a reel on Facebook and wow this is so cool and beautiful and you're truly blessed to have this opportunity that millions of Americans dream of doing in their retirement years. My fiance is a truck driver so I was able to travel with him to 48 states in four years and yes alot of it was traveling to get to the next destination for our paycheck but on alotof our rent hour and down time we traveled and seen some awesome and beautiful beaches etc. Such an appreciation for your channel.
So I saw your spice situation, there’s a drawer for spices you can purchase I Amazon the drawer comes out and drops down so you can see all your spices. On travel days you can tape the side so it doesn’t open. With all of our moves it’s been perfect ♥️
Just a suggestion: for the towels for the main bathroom - replace the plant on the wall with like a hanging fishnet or a DIY Bungee cord to the wall. And for addy’s room - maybe for some added window or light or for additional height where she can sit up maybe a large skylight?
Terrible ideas. You just can't go cutting thru the roof with all the electrical and things..More leaks and too much heat.. RV's are hot..in fact I'll bet they put window tint on those windows soon.
Project Trek did a RU-vid video a year or more ago about their washer/dryer combo being installed in their RV under the sink in their extra bathroom. He drilled through the camper to vent & stuff so you might could look that up for ideas if you need anything. Beautiful toy hauler!
What a fun layout! The reason we didn’t go with a toy hauler was the lack of a dining room table. Of course, since we are in Vegas, the dining room slide is often too hot to enjoy the table anyway. If you’re ever in Vegas check out the Oasis. Maybe we’ll meet!
I’m jealous! Such a cool layout! FYI- our Mallard came with a chalk board fridge. Don’t bother with chalk pens- they can be drippy and expensive. Stick with regular chalk. You have so much storage!!!!! We need Dub’s advice on hanging things on our walls- can we DM him? Or can he DM us? We are also from SC. Blessings!
I love your home and now a subscriber! I almost died from covid last year I was on a ventilator. Now I am unable to take my kids camping seeing what you have done fives me some hope to maybe one day be able to go again.
I honestly don’t understand why you guys get so much hate? You look so excited and bubbly to show off your new home. It’s so nice to see that you are pursuing something that makes you happy. Keep doing you!⭐️
They get hate, because people love to complain about the things they want but don't have. It is an epidemic!! There is absolutely nothing wrong with what this family is doing, yet someone will always find something to complain about or hate on.
Super nice camper! Only thing is I personally wouldn’t like how the couches don’t face the TV and you would have to turn your head hahaha. Super happy for you guys!!!
You could write quote of the day on the chalkboard. Something that makes you feel good when you read it. Then write chores in tiny underneath. Lol. I enjoyed the tour. Thank you for sharing. Happy traveling to you and your family.
