As the daughter of one of the brothers who sold the Beers this treasured property, the video brought me great joy. Having grown up there (summertime) it is my happy place and the source of so many great memories, including my cousin’s wedding by the barn. Seeing the Beers loving the land and it’s history, and building a life with their sons seems so fitting.

@@jennycolin5771 Plant stands not meant for tiny homes, miss. However, the wrought iron trio of "deer" may work on a larger patio in such surroundings. Not sure if this site is appropo for your commercial advertising, a no-no that anyone may report as the top of the list. Besides, anyone could search for plant stands and look through a catalogue such as you are presenting along with a variety of other things, also not appropriate on this tiny house channel who have the right to delete your link and my comment. Indonesia may be different but hey... Alexis and Christian are great people!

First time I've seen a tiny house with individual rooms for the children; very good idea. Also, I enjoyed the history of the land, and the explanations on their evolution to tiny living.

Absolutely love this floor plan to accommodate individual spaces for more than two kids. So many tiny homes are designed for singles, couples and small families. It leaves out a lot of families who have more/grown kids. Way to go Uncharted Tiny Homes!!

Thanks for adding the photos of the original owners! It's nice to see the original homestead being used to expand the living space. The bump outs not only add to your interior space but give a lovely profile to the outside. Very smart of this couple to choose this lifestyle and share their land with others, who may also see the benefits of living tiny. It also keeps these folks in their original professions while bringing income right on their own land. Reminds me of what "Rich Dad" says: "A house isn't an 'asset' unless it brings positive cash flow." Well done guys! And your boys having their own spaces - smart!

The property continues to attract pioneers! Love that this family found what works for them while their children are so young. What a special life they are living - one that will pay off richly. We also homeschooled our five children and besides all the time we spent together, the quality people they are as adults and young adults is commented on by many. We thank God for the pioneers that went before us and laid the way!

I love that this family really did think of the long term realistically by making their children individual bedrooms yes, they are cramped but, they have the loft space and the homestead to play in. It’s a really lovely home that is well thought out in its design and it’s a lovely thing to see a family living their dream.

I love this tiny home, this cabin,this family , her awesome laugh,but I LOVE the olive oil commercial. I usually hate commercials, but you have so much personality it not only makes me want to watch it, but also makes me want to buy this brand.Nice packaging too.

Wow! That is one of the BEST living arrangements I've ever seen for a tiny home! It's really impressive what this couple has created, and they just kept following the bread crumbs as they went along. Step 1: sell house and move into a travel trailer... then keep refining and exploring everyone's needs... eventually leading to this wonderful oasis, and the income-generating tiny home rentals! It's a wonderful piece of land, and what they've done with it is just beautiful. Big kudos to them for creating this lovely homestead, and bonding environment, for their growing family. I am really touched by their story. 💞☮🌟

Parents are so focused working because there's bills to pay and need to take care of children. In the middle of the chaos parents lose focus of other things because when parents do have free time they either have to do household chores, run errands or too exhausted to do anything like fun family activities. Before parents know it, the children are grown and the parents didn't spend much time with there children. Sad but that's life even for one person by themselves. Great family and loved there home! Wishing this family more happy times together!!

Cheers to the Beers' family on such a lovely, well-constructed tiny home! I love that they have full size kitchen appliances, stairs rather than a ladder, a bedroom for mom and dad in which they can STAND(!) and separate room spaces for their boys. I also love that they went with a 10-foot width and long length (34 ft., I believe) home. I've imagined doing something similar but wasn't sure it was possible. @TinyHouseExpedition - Thanks so much for sharing the Beers' family's AZ Tiny Home; it's quite inspirational. 🙂

Some fabulous idea's in this build and wow that land looks amazing...I really love that your boy's have there own private bedroom's too...love the staircase but the cat walk would be difficult with an injury...kitchen is beautiful as is your downstairs main bedroom...I wish you and your boy's a wonderful happy life in your home 💜

Great home! Having it 10 feet wide adds a lot more space than people realize. The proof of that is the staircase and the little hall to the boys separate bedrooms.

Wow, such a beautiful story. The hummingbird ranch family have done a terrific job. The land is beautiful, an oasis for adventures for the five of them. How fortunate to have the old homestead so the boys can have a massive play area indoors for when the weather is inclement. No doubt when they're teenagers it will be handy too. The design of the tiny house is one of the best I've seen. I love that each child has their own sleeping quarters, own room to escape to, to house their possessions, to sleep in. The staircase is one of the best I've seen - top marks for safety. I often feel paranoid with other tiny homes + their staircases that don't have handrails on the open side-as in, not the wall side. Likewise with ladders- glad to see this family thought through things with careful consideration. There wasn't anything I'd change if I was them. As for outdoors - wow, what an adventure playground - the swing looked awesome as did the great tree house, cubby house, monkey bars, etc and rock wall climbing. What a life ❤️

Ideal lifestyle if it's something one can afford. The biggest dilemma is finding a place to park the house. So many states have restrictions and lot rents are high. I love how tiny houses have evolved and am currently in the process of downsizing to hopefully afford a tiny house or small residence. This family is so very lucky and its wonderful to see when people embrace priorities.

What a wonderful home! The bump outs are genius for a tiny that is stationary. They add so much additional space…and don’t come with the challenges of slide outs. Love the history of the property. What a stunning setting. I’ve got friends moving to the Phoenix area…I’ll be sure to share this inn with them. They’ll love it.

I have been looking at small/tiny homes since Jay Shafer wrote his first book in 2000, called "The Small House Book." Having looked at thousands by now, this is the first under-the-staircase pantry I have seen and it is brilliant! What a lovely family, smart parents with their priorities in order. The 20 acre property is beyond gorgeous. I would HAVE to restore the cabin--it's so important historically. Thank you for including the history of previous owners and the pictures were wonderful. I'm putting the tiny home builder's name in my phone-he obviously does quality work. Good luck to this family and here's hoping I get to stay in one of their Tiny Homes for vacation someday.

It would be nice to hear about the hardships of this lifestyle. We only hear the positives. The real physical limitations of living this way are never discussed. How does she feel about crawling on her knees, washing the bedding and making those beds for her boys on that upper level? Cleaning and dusting? It must be really tough. I believe they won’t be in this home for long, and it may become one of their rentals, down the line.

Yes, live life to the fullest, with your loved ones. What a wonderful life you’re giving your children, and yourselves. How difficult was it to find a place for a tiny home? This lifestyle really speaks to me, but I’m a bit intimidated by trying to find a place where tiny house living is allowed.

Thank you for the kind words:). Finding land can be difficult, but once you understand which restrictions prevent an area/county from allowing tiny houses it gets much easier. Every county has zoning rules on their website and it just takes a little research and maybe a phone call to find out if it’s allowed. Tiny House Expedition has some great videos/resources on this topic as well. Good luck and we wish you well on your journey:)

I absolutely love this home, this couple have truly thought out every aspect of this home. Their son's play house that happens to be the original cabin from the original owners then their play space up in the loft and their seperate bedrooms. I have never seen that in a "tiny". No one can say this couple have not utilised all these spaces fairly for their kids. Beautiful home, land and "tiny" rentals for others to enjoy. I have to say this video and home/s have to be one of the best I've seen on YT. I hope this family live out a happy, blessed life here for many years to come.🙏🏽😊

I have watched other RU-vidrs who have wanted to do this and couldn't in their communities because of zoning and regulations. Good for them that they are able to put that many tiny homes on the property and run it as a business.

Yes, I have to agree with you Ed. I raised two kids and it's hard to be alone. I have to start my life over. Just keep putting it off . Making plans to have my tiny home build soon. I say soon but in reality it won't be done for about 6 to 7 months. Incredible Tiny Homes in Tennessee have become so big in the last 4 to 5 months. Their prices are much better than any I've found.

I am from India and we don't have the tiny house movement here. Everytime I see such tiny houses, I feel sad to not be able to live like that. Hopefully, one day!

They seem like a very nice tight family unit with the best priorities. They are raising young men who will one-day utilize all their parent's have taught them. The issue in the U.S.A. is most assume having objects brings us happiness. I know I once thought the bigger house, the nice new shiny pick-ups with the $1,000 a month payments, the newest furniture, the best clothes, shopping , working 70 hours a week to pay it all and I still wasn't happy. I talked my husband into turning our big house over to our oldest son, taking a job transfer from West Virginia ( Jefferson County, about 40 miles from Washington DC) we moved to North Texas ( 30 miles north east of Dallas) we parked our 5th wheel on in laws property, we have water, sewer, electric and we pay half on all of this. We paid cash for our 5th wheel ( we cashed in 1 401k) we paid off my 2020 vehicle, 2 credit cards ( $900 a month payment is gone) we now use only our debit cards) I buy only what I need. I gave 200 Uniforms away yes 200 ( I retired after 36 year's of Nursing) the pandemic did so much damage to my mental and physical health, I had too retire. I truly only miss my big oven, but I make do. Life is meant too be lived.

While watching this, I fantasized about the oldest son wanting to turn the bonus house into a tiny studio apartment size home for himself when he's 18 or older. Another option for him and the middle son, would be for them to rent one of the other tiny homes you have on your property. They'd have to be working, of course.
