I really love this movie. Being around the same age as Mason in the film really made me feel nostalgic as the life he portrayed on the screen really was similar to the life I've lived so far minus some things here and there. Great film, can't seem to emphasis this enough its just so great. Love it, probably my favorite movie. Seen it almost 12-13 times and still never gets old.

He’s about 5 years older than me in the movie so my brother‘s age so this would be more my brother‘s movie for him, but I did feel nostalgic for some of stuff even though the years did not match up like stuff in school, family, first car, Traveling, going off to college this movie isn’t just a movie…It’s your life.

Anyone else notice when watching the movie, when the girl in elementary wrote the note saying she liked his hair, and the girl at the end of the movie her name was Nicole too. Hmmm. wonder if they meant for that?

*Great catch!* I just saw it & really liked it...and this tune. Obviously why I’m here... And now backed it up & staring at the young Nicole seated at her desk, looking at Mason w/her sweet little grin. FFwd a good 9 yrs & there she is again at the end! 👍 What a beautiful girl she became. This was def the most unique film ever made. Well done! Hope the passage of the last 7 yrs has been well for you, overall. Despite the state of this now, fast sinking country...& world. Quite the difference from when this flick came out. Little did we realize who was in the WH then, would come back to finish America off...the job they started, for the global cabal. Only referencing it, b/c this movie made a poor political statement w/them. God help us now.

@@rudrangshgupta4620 I’m sure they did. Since everyone in the film was aging over time, why not make an early classmate an object of mutual affection.? I kinda wish it went a bit further, but when you think about it, it left off at a great point, too. Especially w/the 2 being reunited, before they realized who each other was. ;)

They actually filmed this over 12 years with the same actors throughout. You get to watch a child grow up on screen before your eyes.

When I talk to people about movies and they say they don’t know it, I say “Listen carefully to what I will tell you: don’t even think of dying before watching Boyhood. The movie is unique, absolutely beautiful. You will not be disappointed”.

When the young couple was driving in the highway I thought “ok, now a huge accident will happen, of course” but no, nothing drastic, just a wonderful, warm, sensible movie, done for the eternity. One of my favorites movies (ok, High Fidelity is from the same level).

Just saw the flick on the free Showtime week. A good choice. Prob the most unique film ever made...Considering it took 12 yrs. Great tune though. How’s the ‘album’? Good they’re making a comeback. ;)

I just saw this flick on Showtime’s Free week. Really enjoyed it & came here for this great song I never knew existed. I thought for the flash, it may have been the same gal as his GF, Sheena, w/straightened hair. I’m sure it’s not either. Glad I picked this flick as the last for the freebie. Good one. Especially knowing it took a doz yrs to make. Has to be the most unique film ever made. Well done!👍 Edit: I just went to your spot to stop it to really look at her. She’s actually at 1:17. And it’s def not the same gal I thought at a glance... His GF in the movie.
