These interviews...👍 Both Khadeen's and Devale sessions were indeed inspirational. As a young man growing up in Brooklyn and an Aries ♈ like Devale yes...! We've faced so many challenges when it came to survival. Living in a City like ours NYC we had to grow up rapidly and have a mindset far beyond our teens simply because we have to make it or suffer. I myself was raised in a Christian house hold with strong spiritual ties and morals. And like him hit rock bottom and lost. I was a pillar in my family unit and the light 🕯️ because of my academics and string entrepreneurial efforts, but was taking away due to Kidney Failure. I was lost for a very long time embolic grace of God I'm slowly finding my way back to the surface. I give God all the glory for blessing me for interviews like this and using it as a vessel to rebuild resurfaced and rest strengthening my efforts in life. Peace and blessings to you all ✨

Everybody needs an “Aunt Debbie” in their lives!! Absolutely loved this episode. My sister was named Debbie and was also an Aunt Debbie to so many people. Thank you Crystal for bringing Devale to the couch.

This was a treat! I love the fact that Devale was so open with his emotions, was vulnerable with his struggle story and kept it real. The struggle be real. The tissues were out because 🤧 it just goes to show you what to expect when you never give up and trust in God. Thank you Crystal for this therapy session ❤

What I love about this interview is that it wasn't what people thought it was gonna be; most would've expected the entire episode to be Sistas/Zatima related. However, that was only about the first 5-7 minutes of the show and IMO was for the best. This was about Devale not Zac and the podcast is Crystal's thing not Fatima's. This was a real, raw and relatable conversation! My favorite portion was Devale's experience with the church as a child and how it shaped his relationship with it as an adult. He chose to still search and serve God in his own fashion and I like that. I'm sure most of us had issues with the church at some point, but it isn't about the building or the people inside; it's about God. The way these two encourage each other is great. It was almost like a Part 2 to the interview with Khadeen a few weeks ago.

I love how Devale “loved”Crystal, letting her know that “Fatima” is good where she is ♥️☺️!!

I’m a few years older than you and one of the thing you mentioned was your parent sending you and your siblings to the South to get away from the city life. Amen. I enjoyed the episode so much. God has always been ordering your steps, Devale. God will protect you by closing doors, when he is trying to protect you mentally, physically and emotionally. You might have got cut from the NFL, but look at you now. You are doing what you loved at age 12. You wanted to act. God has placed you in your due season to receive that title and position. Family over everything is everything. We all know the song, As I look back over my life, and think things over, I can truly say, that I been blessed, I have a TESTIMONY. Hi Crystal. This was my first time on your channel and I subscribed. This particular episode really touched me. I know for a fact that God has his hands on you and Devalle. Something in particular that Devalle said made me stop in my tracks. He said that he was mad at God. And he was referring to specially to when his plan that he had for his life fell apart. He was crying telling that story. But it was a reminder to me that I should not beat myself up because I’m mad at God. It’s what the enemy wants us to do. But even when it feels like God isn’t there and life is beating up up and out plans have fell through. God just wants us to come to him. His plans for us are always greater than our plans for ourselves. Devalle was thinking football and that’s it. God had this platform for him all along and God always uses those that he picks to touch others. To bring it back full circle. I am currently struggling badly. Life is falling apart and I was so upset with God because of struggling but I am sure God had his hands on me. And he has something so much bigger for me than I have in “ My plans” for myself. So please tell Devalle that his testimony has blessed me. And thank you Crystal. Love you both. ❤
