When I arrived in Belgium in 82, I had met an elderly german on street who said he was sharing his house with Netaji in Germany; I did not believe him then, even though I invited him to join us & spend the evening at our place after just meeting him on street; now after so much of happenings i wish I had given more time to accompany him to Germany to see with my own eyes if Netaji was there.

Most people are forgetting one important angle why Netaji (in disguise of Gumnami Baba???) may not have come into public...that is mentioned here...netaji had spiritual fire he long kept hidden inside him. If u read 'Autobioggraphy of a yogi' by Sri Sri Paramhansa Yogananda ina ... He had established his ashram and Netaji had visited and was very impressed long back and had said how much he would like to follow this path. However he said time for me to be spiritual is not now...another incident...during his school days...Netaji left his home for few days in search of spirituality / god... so these instances shows another side of the greatest freedom fighter...the primary life target of Netaji was the freedom of India...neither he was greedy for power, nor he was coward for his life...so, since his objective-1 was fulfilled, he may have decided to follow his objective-2 (i.e., spirituality) and watch the doings of Nehru & co. from behind...that may also have put Nehrus in pressure to screw the nation any further, than they did by allowing it to be devided...to summarize, the theory that 'Netaji was in hiding as gumnami baba due to fear of his life' seems highly misleading and grossly insulting to the greatest leader the nation ever had...considering his numerous acts of bravery and fighting spirit throughout his life.
